After the civil war Breen joined the Anti-Treaty IRA in the unsuccessful civil war he was captured and put in jail .in 1923 he got elected to the dail but stlil he was firmly behind removing british rule from Ireland . He had been shot four times during war of independence and had spent over 10 years serving in the IRA .but his words speak louder and clearer than i can .Read dan breens book "My fight for Irish Freedom" its a good read
Yeah, funny captions, but the problems with what Dan "Mad-dog" Breen was saying there is he didn't murder people "coming into his country trying to take over by force", he killed Irish local police officers, who were as native to Ireland as he was, & he was the one taking over by force. Well, he's had a chance to try to argue the point with God now.
listen here i support sinn fein and the provisonals and dan was actually my great great great uncle and i know he would not support the so called "real ira"

Dan Breen would never agree with the actions of the RIRA. He was honourable man.

good man dan well siad, he actualy faught in the war of semi-independance the brits are still up in the 6 countys
