Milsim games are just gradually becoming more popular as more people get bored of regular old arcady shooters that they've been playing for years

Yes lol it’s always one extreme or the other it’s either the most valuable player in the match or the most wasted. I’d rather have someone go as a medic or an at buuut if the marksman can drop 40 kills by themself then it’s hard to say no to that
almost everybody he killed was revived
@@pavelkuperEven if they were revived snipers demoralize heavily, the fact that anyone who peeks dies immediately crushes them. Usually means that it will give your squad opportunity to be fast and aggresive. Eh what am I talking Battlefield players will never know

Lesson from this: Take your time and wait for the enemy to stand still. Only take easy shots.
I¨ve been taking shots at everything that moves no matter how hard shots they are. Although it sometimes leads to insane kills and makes you feel badass, it mostly just ends with misses, the enemy knowing where you are and compromises your position either by suppressed fire or being marked on the map which eventually means being dead within a minute.

@@dirtybananas_ Squad. It is a pretty advanced modern warfare simulator. One of the best games I´ve ever played. Takes some time to understand how the game works but once you understand, it is fun as hell.

This right here. That was probably THE best game I was a sniper in. I would use the Barrett sometimes and people would complain about it being OP so I would switch to the M24 and disappear into the bushes in Heavy Metal and just be an absolute terror. I would snipe, then they'd come and try to trim the bushline for me so I would sink back and either take them out with the 1911 or my personal favourite - knife them and take their tags.
@@Priest015 My boy would use the Barrett for anti-vehicle while he spotted and an Artic Warrior when we were duo-sniping. It was very affective. Other than that, I'd main medic. High ticket matches were fantastic. m1911 was my choice as well, you have good tastes.

I love how squad made canada so op like it's world War 1 or 2.
The hardest part of being a sniper is juding ranges and you seem to do it PERFECTLY... some of those headshots were CLEAN!!
I love it so much its just the most satisfying thing to use in squad for me other then tow kills. I wish more factions had a powerful bolt action sniper class

Got yourself a sub man, would love to get to play a game with you. Sadly people usually dont want snipers in their squad but ive had a few games where my buddy goes sniper and i go rifleman to help him spot targets and keep him safe close range, aswell as provide him ammo. Would love if the developers would go the Hell Let Loose route for sniper/marksman so you can have a 2man squad consisting out of a sniper/marksman and a spotter, this way at least you would get to play sniper every once in a while.

They need to add more snipers and also add a spotter kit so the sniper can have a dedicated spotter along with scopes that have more zoom

I think a dedicated spotter with range and elevation detection is an excellent idea, with the ability to put down a camo net cover like the Militia have

Amazing shit dude, the snioer is supposed to be killing easy targets.. that are standing still mostly, alot of people think they are some kind of 100 kill navy seal sniper that kills targets that are running and shit, most people dont understand that and they die in minutes as they miss their target.

being myself Canadian, I have no idea how our boys keep mustering up such extreme kills.
the list of "Longest Distance Confirmed Kills" is utterly dominated by Canadians, and I don't know why. the top 10 is at least half Canadian. and I truly don't know what it is about our culture that clearly inspires such lethal precision over foolish distances, but then I don't know a great many things.
Tim Hortons is pretty famous for fueling nutty things (like TimBiebs, how embarrassing). so there you go.

What mouse are you using? Looks like the sensor has a really poor sensor in terms of DPI. I bet you'd do even better with a decent mouse.
So because the targets are like super small and can move around quite fast i made sure my dpi is super low to increase my chance of hitting them.

i would play squad if i could actually see the enemy after walking for 5 minutes and getting vaporized by somebody from the next postal code over. tried multiple free weekends and it wasn't for me. maybe in the future i'll give it another try. cheers.
Squad is one of those games that you have to stick around for a bit before you can do well.
I have like 1500 hours on squad and i sometimes still can't spot the enemy.
Keep at it man!!!! Learning the maps, gameplay, even the sounds of enemy guns.. it'll all come together and you will have an amazing experience. It can be frustrating at first.
Find a good squad leader, and tell people you are new, get some advice and prepare to rockt he socks of your enemies!
Audio needs a lot of love in this game. So many times devs underestimate the value of good audio.

What? The audio in Squad is some of the best that modern-warfare shooters have to offer, especially for longer ranged engagements. Insurgency: Sandstorm might be better, but I can't think of many other games that get it right.
@@jdekkers3262 Yea that's exactly my point, not many games get it right... something is always off, or unrealistic. the best audio i've had was in Stalker GAMMA oddly enough, but it is modded to hell. JSRS sound mod for arma 2 was also very good.

@@Drewe223 yea, well when something needs love it doesnt mean that it's bad it means that it's not perfect... BUT OKAY let me get into it. Squad needs a lot of love as i stated, it's not bad but it's far from realistic. Audio is hard to get right. weapon sounds in squad are actually crap reverb off mountain and landscape is actually crap. and location. The reason for this bad audio is due to the audio being recordings. instead of being simulated like it should we trace rays, time to trace sound waves. Thats where im getting. You guys think this is good but it is not no game has realistic audio. This game audio needs a lot of love I stand by that.
