Six Crimson Cranes is just a gorgeous cover! The dragon isn't that important in the story, I believe it is more prominent in book two (The Dragon's Promise)!
I'm doing the Throne of Glass series as a readalong and have FINALLY read book 5 after owning them all since 2019-2020!

I really wanted to take part in your ToG readalong 😭 but now it's over 6 months later and I still haven't reread book one 🤦‍♀️ maybe if I start this summer I'll finally have catched up by the time you get to book 8 😅

I actually really liked iron flame. I think some of the complaints were potentially related to it being more fantasy centric with less romance (although still definitely spicy). I’d also say it’s a book in 2 halves which are quite distinct

I also was sceptical about fourth wing but it was really good I gave it 5 stars for enjoyment and I am about 20 % into Iron Flame and it's good.

I vote: r-fantasy, reading physical tbr, and dragon vlogs first. All your ideas sound awesome and I can’t wait to watch! You should read Fourth Wing it’s too amazing to miss. Iron Flame was good but nothing was going to stand up against Fourth Wing this all the disappointment.
