I have something to tell regarding Tsegaye Gebtemedhin. His father Aleqa Gebremedhin was a Krestina Abat for my dad and his elder brother.

What is amazing to me is this : -art itself ( and novelist) have become low. For Example, Amharic novelist ( derasee) like the rest of fake intellectuals his speech dominated or doted by usage of english words. Of course this over usage of english words or using few but big English words make one feel intellectual and the audience regarded him likewise.
A person who studies amharic literature, should make effort to creat new amharic words, should make effort to introduce new amharic words. I dont see this effort in Alemayhu. So, This is antiprallel practice to the works of the previous generation: like the works of derasee debeb seyfu who had introduced words like Getse-Bahere etc, thus The anti parallel aspect in this is that Alemyahu prefer not to say Getse-Bahere but like to say" character" and like to say "myth" not afe-tarik etc. Thereby, contributing to the disappearance of amharic words from the pool of amharic diction. With this observation at the backdrop, I should ask him and this audience ...what is meaning of falklor, what is the amharic meaning of evolution, what is the amharic meaning of inherently , what is the meaning of absurdity, what is legend means in amharic. What is myth means in amharic????
These group supposedly are admirer and writers of amharic novels. Yet I see no contribution to the growth of amharic language simply you add nothing to the amharic lexicon. I see hypocrites and mediocres
