  • This automated machine tending system is an example of utilizing a robot to alleviate the ergonomic burden on an operator of completing a repetitive task with heavy parts.
    The outfeed conveyor of the blanking cell (simulated in this video) delivers the blanks to the system. The robot picks the blank and positions it for the stamping process. Once the stamping is complete (the stamping process is simulated in this video) the robot stacks the stamped blank on one of the system’s outfeed conveyors. When a stack is complete, the interlocked outfeed door will open, and the stack will automatically transfer from the system.
