You know you've played this piece well when people are crying in the audience. Made me shed some tears also. Very moving performance.

I am speechless. The most amazing thing about any pianist is the love that lies within the care for every note to sound much more beautiful and magical. You took care of every single note and the outcome sounds beyond perfect. Your technic is also breathtaking.
Interesting interpretation but the extreme rubato takes away the dark chill of Washington state and takes agent Cooper to the beaches of East Hampton or somewhere alike ;D

This is a gorgeous arrangement and as a huge fan of twin peaks I am unimpressed by all the comments here. She covered a song and put her own spin on it, and frankly it sounded great. If you want to hear something that sounds exactly like the originals, why would you seek out a cover performance?
Learning this myself now and im pretty much finished with the piece, but this vid will be great help for interpreting it a bit better. Great work

Well played, however I can't help but feel like there's something off about it. The tempo is a little too fast and it fluctuates around a lot. I feel like she read a third-party version of the sheet music with a few errors in note placement and timing, or she just didn't listen to the original song.
She put her own spin on it. It's different, it's not "wrong". Music is subjective. Either you like it or you don't
It's pretty easy to see that she was playing by feel, not by the sheet music. Personally I loved it.

The pianist said she played it by ear, did not have sheet music. It sounds pretty good on my Roland electronic piano for other settings - violin, piano & echos, etc. I've got sheet music.

Although I don't have any music titles to speak of, I think the key to Twin Peaks and Angelo Badalamenti's music in general is suspension. If you are interested, try to take a ride on my channel, I play various pieces by Angelo Badalamenti and not only his Twin Peaks.
