I remember when I saw this scene everything around me disappeared. It was just me and a magical moment with the most beautiful music in the world playing in the background.
The ending of Part 11 might be one of my favorite scenes I’ve seen in a TV show. It’s so heartwarming to see Dougie bring positivity around everyone. Showing he still has that Dale Cooper energy to him. As well as the scene mirroring the Lonely Souls ending. Which I think was done on purpose. If Lonely Souls ending was Cooper failing despite everything he tried to do, this ending is Cooper succeeding despite losing everything about himself in season 3. It’s almost sad to think Dougie is basically Dale Cooper at his purist. ❤ I love this episode.
Removing the dialogue really highlights the beauty of this piece. Thank you for this. The faster part is really just a variation of the slower part. The writing is genius - and that’s what Angelo was.
Since its premiere in 2017 I've been re-watching the series every year on blu-ray. So much to enjoy and this entire scene and its musical backdrop is absolute perfection. Thank you for the upload! :)
Might be the best scene in the return. The Mitchum brothers celebrating with the man they so much wanted to kill just earlier that day, the poor lady from the casino returning, now with a nice outfit, thanking Dougie from the fortune he and happiness he has brought to her. She even got together with her estranget son.
Thank you so much for this music. I've been looking for a long time, I've found different arrangements, but this is exactly what I need. This is the original.
I'm searching for the piano sheet of the whole thing but can't find it :/ The second part, "Heartbreaking" by Angelo Badalamenti, is easy to find, but not the rest :(
@@dirtymachetepictures484 Nope. But, listening to the theme a few times in a row, i realised it would not be as cool as i first thought to play it on a piano. A lot of the scene's beauty and magic comes from directing. So not a big loss in the end ;)
This Mr. Jackpot scene is probably one of the most blissful and magical scenes in motion picture history.
Season 3 of Twin Peaks is one of the most spiritual series that has ever been on TV, or any series ever. It is so complex and so well made...

I'll never forget the first time I watched The Return. Jeez, what a scene...
It's an absolute crime this exact version is not in the official soundtrack

That's perfect, thanks! Everything is better with Candie.
RIP Angelo 💔
Was listening to this last night and didn’t realize he had passed.

I ve been looking for that piece of sunshine for a long time now, i need to say to you : thanks a lot. My heart is full now
The third part sounds like an older, wiser version of the initial carefree piece, informed by experience.
That’s a bar
Just like the cooper at the end of the return compared to the cooper from the original series
Bless you. When this episode came out I was dying to find the initial, upbeat song. It's so familiar to me and I can't place why.
exactly like you, like i know it, cant find from where
I think it might be from a late 90’s Olive Garden commercial
Twin Peaks 11 series. Братья Митчемы с Дагласом Джонсом угощают чертовски хороший пирог. И Анжело Бадаламенти за роялем
Finally found the right version , thanks for upload

also, i don't remember for sure now (it was a few months ago), but i think there's moments in the piece you just can't play with only two hands.
