Some of his newer songs are so intense and it shows.. They're nearing a 2 hour show now headlining. You can tell his voice was so tired performing this song. His voice gave up on that signature High B5 run he loves to show off in the last few runs of the chorus. If you're not sure what I'm talking about - check out this video v=sE4KoUAFppg and at 3 minutes in. I honestly can't wait until he's fully back in the saddle on touring. Some of these videos of the newer tour definitely show 2 years of downtime. Then again, that was also a much much smaller set since RHCP was headlining. He's still one of the best in my book. Can't wait to see him back in full swing.
Man, come on... It's already unbelievable that he can sing for 2 hours straight at every concert, while also keeping all his newest songs in the original key. And the most important thing is, he doesn't miss a single note. We can really just admire Brendon.
@@giorgioottolina1739I'm not saying he's not an amazing singer. You can just tell the wear that full set takes on him. It had to be rough to go from 1hr 15-20 min sets not touring at all for a couple years and come back to nearly 2 hour sets. Also they tuned down Sad Clown a full step live, same with some of the OG Songs. Even THIS version of High Hopes song is tuned down live a full step. There's like a hand-full of them that help by tuning them down for the live performance so he doesn't blow it. I was just sayin, I can't wait until he gets fully back into it from the performance hiatus.
@@sicinthemind What are you talking about? Sad Clown has been performed in the original key in every performance I've seen. Btw, that high run in High Hopes tops at a very clear C6.
@@Norce555what are you talking about? The run still starts at a B or Bb, no? The one I saw was earlier in their tour I could have sworn sounded tuned down. There's more shows from the tour popping up on YT as their tour progresses. More recent one does sound like it's same key as production ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@sicinthemind the song was always performed in the original key, as were all the songs off the new album. So not sure why you're confused about what I'm talking about
@@ellemoiselle yeah I am but just because there was someone at ours doesn’t mean there will be one at yours. Especially since pit is a smaller group of people. I was a floor seat
@@ashleyford7232 Lmao I know someone from a TX show who got Covid in the pit lol so I’m just asking around about it. I really don’t wanna catch it lol.
Ty for this! I was here and my videos are all shaky from me jumping around the whole time lmao do you have more you’re gonna post? Would love to see more!
I got to high five him as he is walking forward, such an awesome moment
He is the best performer! That voice is incredible
His songs are so amazing like amazing amazing

Worked for them one of my favorite concerts to set up
I was literally opposite of you, his vocal range is insane! This is why they are one of my favorites.
ty for sharing this 💗
I got Covid from this concert! 100% worth it 😂
Same.
Are y’all vaccinated? I’m just really not wanting Covid lmao but I have a pit ticket.
