I remember your thumper shirt in one of your role play videos that people were giving you a problem about just because you are a woman and have woman parts. I remember your first upload of the towel folding video, and it only had audio on one side. You got it fixed from a friends help and I am so grateful for that because it is still my favorite video from you. I remember your Draw My Life video, and how sad I was to hear about your nose and all the things that you had went through from 18 and from Russia. I remember the video you uploaded to inform us that you were no longer going to be married and together with your first marriage... I could see all the hurt and pain in your eyes and you did your best not to cry. It was a change but it was still hard for you, and yet you were willing to be open with us about it. I remember your videos getting ready for home visits to Russia, you would bring your family like beef Jerky and I think flavored marshmallows. Then you would come back and show us all the wonderful things you got from your trip. I remember that you talked about having children in a previous video, saying that age 27-30 is where you would see yourself having children or be comfortable in. You wanted to dedicated time to us and to find your own path first. I don’t remember when your now husband came in... I don’t think it was a big reveal and he just slipped through the cracks but then you started making videos with him or about him and I say you were happy. I remember the DIY valentines gifts you were doing, the 52 cards as a little book was my favorite... I tried so hard to make one similar for a previous love. I remember seeing in more and more videos that you were healthier and happier and on such a better track with your life. I loved being there every step of the way because you have helped me with so much and you’ll never fully realize how much you mean to me. I know this is a lot to read and to take in, but Maria I hope you get a chance to see this.. I sit here at 5am typing this out, knowing that to some I might sound like a crazy stalker or a weirdo, but you have impacted my life so much with your videos. I remember the 'guilt' when I started watching some other's ASMRists' videos, like I was cheatin' in some way, but the realized "in my heart" what she put so nicely in the video: that there's no way you can even compare between ASMRists, they're all different and good.

I don't mind the sponsored content at all, for a few reasons. You have to make a living, first of all, and it is unreasonable of your viewers to expect you to upload with the same frequency and quality that you do without some sort of compensation. Second, the sponsored videos that I have seen (specifically the ones with Blue Apron) have been just as relaxing as unsponsored videos and with content that is just as appropriate for ASMR. So thank you for your continued hard work and passion: we appreciate you!

When you said “I gotta start my family” after describing you watching Daryl playing with little Masha it made me say “awww” out loud and it warmed my heart. That was so sweet and made me so happy and feel so deeply and understand what you mean. Sometimes being a “highly sensitive person” is very frustrating and isolating but it’s times like this when I can really *feel* the good and exactly what you’re feeling and really fully understand. I had already definitively decided earlier that day that I was going to stay home for the night, but a fortune cookie at lunch strongly urged me to do otherwise.

I met a person that night that introduced me to my significant other shortly thereafter.

My life really has changed this year. I was bullied for 9 years, and because of all the anxiety and stress my legs didn’t work anymore. I had to go in a wheelchair to school. The doctors made a brain scan and found out I have a very agressive brain tumor which can not be removed or treated. I’m only 14 years old, and the fact that my life is taken away from me is devestating. I’m trying to stay positive and live the last months I have as good as I can. Your video’s calm me and give me peace. Thank you.

Congrats on your feeling of being "ready and grown". I know just what you mean. I actually did want to be a mother fairly early on, mid 20s I guess, but when I would dream of having a baby there would always be something wrong. Sometimes the baby was just a doll, once a bee, or I would not have a crib or clothes, or anything I needed. As I matured and did become more "ready" my dreams were of actual children- seeing them in school plays and rocking them at night. It was such a clear transformation but only I had witnessed this symbolism of my progression.

I absolutely love you and your videos Maria! I did not know anything about ASMR until 2 years ago. I occasionally have trouble sleeping at night and ASMR became a new outlet of peace and serenity for me. Once I came across your channel, I clung to your sweet, gentle, and soothing voice. Not to knock other ASMR artists, because I have many favorites, but what I will say that what sets you apart in my opinion is your raw sincerity and genuineness. You are so very talented but you remain so sweet and humble and I can sense it in every single video. I truly hope that you do continue to make videos because you are reaching and inspiring so many people. Your videos have definitely impacted my life in a positive way. Do not let haters or antagonists prevent you from doing what you love and were clearly made to do. Perhaps this is an unpopular opinion, but I don't particularly love role plays. I do, however, love these kinds of videos; I feel like you *are* focusing on the viewer, just in a different way. You make me feel like you really are a close, comforting friend.

I've been watching your videos for few years already and have always enjoyed them a lot. I've had a baby this year and now your videos are not only "fun" for me but a necessity in order to relax. I feel a little weird about posting this publicly, but Maria is worth the weirdness, so here goes.
I started watching you about a year or two ago as my introduction to ASMR. At first your videos were just relaxing before bed, and then I started to pick up tidbits about you here and there, and I made a TH-cam just to subscribe to you. You've mentioned wanting a wise and poised female role model, and you've really felt like that for me. I think you're incredibly inspiring, and your videos are now a staple for me in the good times and the bad. Even with a billion subscribers, I would still think you are underrated. Thank you for leading the ASMR cause and community.

I just want to tell you what an inspiration you are to me and how much I needed this ''whisper talk''. I'm learning to stand up for my values and beliefs and stop taking bullshit from everyone...and that includes my family. It has been a painful couple of days, but you managed to make me see what I can become and that I can actually feel proud of myself if I stop caring about others so much and start fighting for what I want for myself. It’s good to have an update every once in a while, I was beginning to wonder how you were feeling in the past couple videos. I also think stress relief can look like letting your mind engage with another person’s sometimes, so I’m in favor of these types of videos when you feel the need 😊My life has definitely changed considerably in the past year, I could describe it better in an Instagram DM. When you did the new house tour vlog, I suddenly got this feeling "Maria is going to have a little boy here". I also noticed a sort of a sadness in you lately, which if it's about the people not liking you for not taking their crap, sorry to say, but to hell with them. You don't have enough time in this lifetime to be considerate around toxic people. Regardless of the type of connection you have with them, it's better to just pull the weeds out, rather than see yourself destroyed from the inside, sooner or later.
Whatever your plans are, I truly wish you good luck, inspiration, prosperity, love and wisdom. You are a wonderful person, and through what you do for us, you gained a lot of good karma, I think. Many tight hugs from Romania!

Ive been really stressed lately and your videos help so much. The whispering ones are my favorite. Its been harder to relax and watch lately though because i have a new kitten ive been taking care of and i havent been feeling well for a few weeks, but when i am able to wind down, these help so much. Yes, I can relate, too. I was in a very toxic relationship for several years. Now I have been in a happy and relaxed and fun relationship for about 4 years......I never knew that love could feel like this! I am so thankful. I am glad that Maria has found a good relationship......and you, too!

Anybody who knows you well enough knows that you're not a money-grabbing sell-out, and I highly doubt that you would endorse a product or service that you didn't believe in or wasn't legitimate. So do the sponsorships and ignore the people who leave negative comments about it - how you make your living is none of their business, it doesn't affect them, and you're still supplying high quality ASMR videos. You're not the Queen of ASMR because you were one of the first, or because you upload so frequently. You're the Queen of ASMR because of the endless love and effort you put into this. So keep doing you, because we're all fans of who you are as a person, as well as what you create.

You are such a pure soul! First of all, I have been watching your videos since your very first videos, when I was in 10th grade, struggling with depression and in counseling, and now I'm 21 years old and graduating college next semester! I really feel like we've grown up alongside each other even though you don't know me at all. Because of this, everyone who has been watching knows what kind of person you are and much of your story, and I can't imagine anyone being angry with you for taking sponsorships. When this is your job, there's no shame or selfishness in making extra money off your videos! In fact, your blue apron videos are some of my recent absolute favorites, and I love any video where you play with your phone, so the best fiends videos have been super enjoyable as well. Anything you do is relaxing, and you integrate things so well you never seem like an infomercial who's trying to sell us anything. I'm sorry for such a long comment, but thank you for so many years of such great videos and sharing so much of yourself with us, I truly feel so proud of how far you've come in both TH-cam and life in general, even though I don't actually know you at all.
Maria you are my favorite asmrtist!! I’m so happy for all of the good change in your life. You practically saved mine in 2013 I was going through a horrible breakup and being bullied and was plagued everyday by an overwhelming anxiety and depression and then I saw a link on twitter about Asmr and it was one of your videos!!! It was the only thing that gave me comfort during that time so thank you!!!

You should put up a patreon anyway, without any upload schedules or special benefits for your patreons, so you dont pressure yourself. But consider that many of us want to give back and show appreciation without expecting something special for it. I support another asmrtist with 2 $ monthly and i dont want anything for myself. I just want the artist to be able to continue. Imagine if only 500 people of your 1 million followers give you 2$, its 1000$ more every month for you to support yourself! Please revisit this option again. Not just for yourself, but for us!

I loved when she did the live video chat and we could make a direct donation during it. Even doing one every 2-3 months would give us the opportunity to show a bit of financial support. :-)

In case you dont follow her life updates, she had debt from her previous marriage (and worked hard for years to become debt free just recently), sold her car and her youtube income has dropped 70%, she now earns less than 2 years ago. But you certainly dont have to give her anything if you dont want to. But there are enough people who would enjoy contributing with a small amount to the work she delivers for free.
