My husband is hard of hearing (entirely deaf in one ear but hearing in the other) so at the end of the day he is "ready to turn his ear off". People take for granted how exhausting hearing can be. ASMR has always been something I've experienced - I've gotten tingles since elementary school - and it's been hard that I can't share all parts of it with him. While he can't experience binaural videos the same way I can, he has really enjoyed relaxing or sleeping to soft spoken videos. They're gentle and there's no pressure on him to actually "hear". I don't normally get tingles from soft spoken videos but I'm glad I get to share some part of the experience with him. Thanks for all you do, Maria! You help in a lot more ways than you realize! ❤️
I'm just like your husband. I'm deaf in one ear but have normal hearing in my other ear. You're right...trying to hear is exhausting. ASMR helps me, too.
Have you tried having him watch Bob Ross paint? I always found he had that asmr effect without it having to have that ear to ear effect. My father is also deaf in one ear but bob ross and other soft spoken people on tv actually relax him.

I completely understand the sentiment, United! However, if it wasn’t an unkind comment but out of affection or appreciation for someone’s work, I think it’s a sweet gesture and not likely to cause problems. When it’s an excuse to be rude to someone else, then it’s certainly a problem, but this kind of admiring hyperbole (or not, depending on your view!) is not such an issue, I think.
Maria, sometimes you just need to "call out sick." Everyone needs to skip a work day now and then because of illness, and you are no different! Don't be afraid to skip a Monday if you are sick! Take care of yourself. I promise that we, your viewers, can take it 😊 We just want you to be well and love what you do, because you have given us so much ❤️
As a kindergartener I had a foldable ruler that I used as a fidget toy before they were a thing lol I think I still have it somewhere in my storage boxes it is sentimental.

I LOVE these kind of videos where you just show a bunch a different objects and talk about them while tapping and scratching on them. Makes me so relaxed. Tingting does these videos too where she shows objects from China sometimes. I would love that too with objects from Russia. I like to relax and learn little things about other people and there culture while listening to tappingsounds.

That notebook is so cute! As someone who has ADHD I really wish I’d had a notebook like that when I was younger. I totally agree with her about it being something relaxing and fun but not distracting. I feel like that type of notebook would be really helpful to kids who have trouble fidgeting or who are very tactile.

While I don't think I will ever dislike a video you make ever, as all of them are truly wonderful, relaxing, creative, and enjoyable, these are my favorites. You have the best presence and personality. It really does feel like we're hanging out when you make these types of videos. This video reminded me of the one you made about how you discovered you got tingles as a child where you acted out the moment with your friend. The attention to detail and slight exaggeration of motion and mannerisms felt like something I'd experience in real life. I always go back to your video on your favorite triggers where you are very purposefully and intentionally flipping through a magazine and almost "teaching" what's in it. Thank you for all you do! I’m a teacher and I’d want my students to be excited for school and their school supplies they’ll be using. I think it allows them to take pride in what they have and get excited for the school year. I’d be happy to see this stuff in my classroom.
Oh my goodness!! As a teacher, super distracting stuff for some kids, but for other kids VERY necessary for focus! So the key is giving it to the right kids and making sure the easily distracted ones aren't sitting too close! 😂

While I don't think I will ever dislike a video you make ever, as all of them are truly wonderful, relaxing, creative, and enjoyable, these are my favorites. You have the best presence and personality. It really does feel like we're hanging out when you make these types of videos. This video reminded me of the one you made about how you discovered you got tingles as a child where you acted out the moment with your friend. The attention to detail and slight exaggeration of motion and mannerisms felt like something I'd experience in real life. I always go back to your video on your favorite triggers where you are very purposefully and intentionally flipping through a magazine and almost "teaching" what's in it.

I’m a teacher and I’d want my students to be excited for school and their school supplies they’ll be using. I think it allows them to take pride in what they have and get excited for the school year. I’d be happy to see this stuff in my classroom.

Oh my goodness!! As a teacher, super distracting stuff for some kids, but for other kids VERY necessary for focus! So the key is giving it to the right kids and making sure the easily distracted ones aren't sitting too close! 😂
