I really enjoyed Ye Olde Signe, but only had the opportunity to have one tin before it was discontinued. The internet says McConnell's Shakespeare is a match blend so I bought a couple of tins almost a year ago and I'm waiting just a little while longer before trying it. Thanks for the review and look back at this one!
That tin aroma you described plus the flavor profile sounds like a blend I could enjoy. I’ve never smoked a clay pipe but I imagined the heat wouldn’t have much to get absorbed into. Probably a nice feature if it’s cold outside. Thanks for the review. Cheers!
Hiyas Jonathon, I've got a couple of clay pipes that I should smoke more often. I really do appreciate and enjoy their cool, dry smoking attributes. I have discovered that I like the tavern style best since it's longer and more comfortable to hold. It's fun and interesting to smoke those old, sadly discontinued blends, if they're tasty it's also bittersweet. Serene smokes Gary
Thanks for sharing buddy. I have a couple of Dunhill tins, some in jar, some not yet opened. The bowl of the clay pipe gets hot generally or it is tolerable? I haven’t tried a clay pipe before, have been directed more in meerschaums. Greetings ❤

So basically a darker version of the royal yacht without the plum topping. Thank u for the review as I’ve never even seen this blend before anywhere.

The smell of this one always reminded me of dried moldering oak leaves but I like the bran cereal description.
