A garden center is never boring. The boxwoods in the UK seem much cheaper than the US. That was a great price.
I agree, I am originally from England but know live in Brisbane 🇦🇺for that size here you would pay about $180

Buxus was very expensive here in the UK too until recently. The reason I believe is because it now suffers from Box Caterpillar here in the UK which can completely decimate the plant in a very short space of time & now requires constant treatment with pesticides. I had many box topiaries & hedges & lost them all :( I have now replaced with Japanese Holly which are very similar but don't have the lovely scent of Box
