@@JOHNDANIEL1 That's awesome, It does look almost the same. I actually bought my 12k btu Midea at Costco for $295 I think. Super deal, couldn't pass it up. Thanks!
I bought 2 Timeusb 12V 100Ah 6 months ago, they work well in my rv by far. I'm satisfied with them. Now there's one version with low-temperature protection! Great! I want to try!
This 140 Ah battery would be much more useful to me than a mini 100Ah battery . My travel trailer has a battery compartment specifically sized for a typical 100 Ah battery. If I end up switching from an AGM battery to a lithium, this may be the way to go. Thank you for this video.
Awesome review Brad, I have to say, the TimeUSB lithium battery has exceeded all my expectations. It’s like it knows exactly what I need. It’s efficient, reliable, and it just works seamlessly with my RVs .
Really excited to see the space efficient and dense batteries - this one and the mini versions as well. I have had my eye on the 100ah mini versions but this one is really interesting. Thanks for sharing your review.
I have 2 of the Time USB 12 volt 220 ah metal case batteries in series. Been cycling them everyday since May 9th 2023. So far so good. Noticed this week they’re unavailable. I really like the metal cases with double terminals, and disappointed they are now unavailable. I think this may be a thing to watch out for, changing their batteries Ah when buying thinking they will be available. I noticed the Redodo metal case batteries are also unavailable this week. I’m not so sure if I like the plastic cases yet, combustible? I hope they bring the metal back and may dictate which direction I go in my next purchases . Great Video as always Brad.
Interesting that you do a review on this battery right now. I actually have this in my cart on amazon. I have been looking for something comparable to the TalentCell 170Ah battery you put in the Licitti box, which unfortunately is not available. The scratched off QR codes really make me question this one. You wouldn't by chance have any recommendations for another High capacity battery for that the licitti box would you? As always, another great video.
that electrod you using with white some kind of ceramic cover.. i used to clean and maintain diesel heaters back then and reminds me the igniter electrodes they had...!!! whats its story ?
Thanks!!! I'm looking for a similar battery, 100Ah is not enough for my needs, and 200Ah battery is more expensive. This 140Ah just meets my needs. Thank you for your discount, i found the battery on their website is more cheaper!! So exciting, TimeUSB👍
you seem to have removed video on sunthesys mppt unit ( with bluetooth), I just recieved one from usa, any reason you took down the video? Also another newbie question: what function does the load have on an mppt, have you done a video on that?
Hello Brad, New subscriber! I am new to the LiFeP04 world. Just recieved this battery yesterday. I am setting up a SmartShunt IP65. How do I determine "Charged Voltage"? Just want to keep this one in good working order for as long a possible. Thanks!
Hi, thanks for the sub! 14.2v is fine you can also try 14.4, or 14.6v But really 14.2v is good because some batteries may not get to 14.4v before going into high cell protect, and most do not get to 14.6v
In re the revelation at 6:15ish, it sounds like the battery has a 140 Am Hour capacity... But the ability to only deliver 100 Amps at a time. 100A x 12.8V = 1,280 watts, round down to 1000 for the inverter's load and incidentals, and we find that: If we're pulling more than 1,000 watts, we need batteries in Parallel to cover the load. Apparently, these BMS's WILL provide double their rating... For 5 seconds or less. TIL. This is from the Timeusb listing on Amazon: "built-in 100A BMS board supporting Max.100A charge/discharge current and Max.1280W load power." So, yeah, I'm pretty sure they know.
The revelation at that time was "Li Time" printed on the BMS. This is a competing company, that's what I meant when I said "wonder if Timeusb knows this". But on to what you mentioned, yes it's a 100a bms so its limited to about a 1000w inverter, that is true. Thanks.
@@BradCagle "Competition" in Big Business doesn't mean "Competition" like in a Sporting Event. Looking at many of these LiFePO4, it looks like there may actually be only 3-4 actual "Manufacturers," and a LOT of people who just stick their own labels on.

Yes, that code alteration seems a little shifty to me also. Probably not get that one.
I want your shunt display! My Victron smartshunt refuses to deliver solid data.
These Batteries should have all the cell QR codes on the outside of the case. Wouldn’t that be nice
I see that it has low temp cutoff for charging, but how about low temp discharge cutout?

A little more is better for those off days if you have solar. Nothing like mopower.
Interesting low temp & two of them brings the WH to 3584 which lets you get the 30% tax credit in the USA

I disabled that video because they keep jacking the price up. It was at $90 when i took it down. If they lower it I might pu the video back up. Thanks
No probs I looked up load function all good, probably a marketing strategy I got one before price went up much, arrived in oz working order
U da man
Thanks!

😜
What is that Li-Time component that you showed at 6:15
On the opposite end of the BMS sticker reading Time USB lol
Yes it's the BMS, as @wallacegrommet9343 mentioned LOL
Nice
Big pass on QR code scratched off
If they scratched off QR codes they are hiding the fact these are not class A cells😢
