Absolutely love me some turkey. If there is any left over it will go great with those green beans you made. You are doing a good job. Keep it up
That would be good

Awesome, glad the turned out good for you.
That's what I wanted to hear right there
I’m going to try this recipe for the 4th of July this weekend. It looks perfect. I’ve never smoked anything and I’m also doing about 15 legs so wish me luck lol. I will report how it comes out!
They will turn out great. Let me know what you think
So, how did they turn out?
Make sure to keep temp around 275° to 300°, too low and they will come out rubbery. Beginners mistake with smoking , not all meat is low and slow. I learned the hard way 😁
@@g.choppa4448 learned that the hard way over the last year. You have to pay attention to the temperature more than anything.
@@longfeet14 😁👍. Sometimes mistakes are the best forms of teaching a topic.
Thank you. Going to try this recipe this weekend.
This is a killer recipe! Thank you!
Appreciate that
Looks amazing my man! Going to the store and getting some legs tomorrow! Thanks a bunch

Hey bro, I got some turkey legs on the smoker now. I didn't use the curring salt, I wanted straight up smoked legs. I enjoyed your cook. Cooking with E and V will be back shortly with new amazing vids. Great job my brother we should do a calab.
Most definitely
Appreciate you sharing your skills. I bought a big green egg plan on cooking some turkey legs this week.
Will follow your procedure.

Thank you
I knew better than to watch this Taylor's video, This man makes me so hungry every time I watch him cook.LOL, I need to go now and get myself some turkey legs.
Go ahead and hook some up
They look great. I have a question how long would you cook them to make them fall off the bone
Thanks for this video definitely will be trying this. God bless you and yours too!
You cold my dude. It was simple but so effective. I love to cook but I never could brine. I cant wait to try it.
It looks really good will definitely try this recipe
Thank you
Looks yummy yummy yummy yummy. Thanks for sharing this with us
I love these and have smoked them in the past. What about those tendons though? They kind of turn me off when I chew on them. I wonder if pressure cooking first would soften them up and help the meat fall off.
Nicely done Taylor! I will try your method tomorrow...drums already in the brine.
Awesome how'd they turn out
Making these for this thanksgiving thanks!
These look fire man! I've been thinking about starting to experiment a little bit with Turkey Legs. Great cook!
Appreciate that Ron
@@TaylorsFSCooking man I just circled back and watched this again because I've been thinking of trying a copy-cat "Turkey Leg Hut" inspired cook where it IS supposed to fall off the bone. It looks like it's just a matter of leaving them in the foil longer, but it's good to know how to produce both. Good stuff!
Thanks Taylor I never knew how to cook them Happy Fourth Of July to you, your family, and friends have a great rest of the week and God Bless.
Thank you! You too!
I think this is the recipe ive been looking for!!
It's a good one. Let me knownwhat you think.

What type of smoker did you use? What type of wood did you use? Did you use chunks or chips? Do you cook them to temp or by time 🤷🏾♂️

Glad to help man
Looks and sounds delicious
Thank you
I am smoking myself some tomorrow ✌🏾👊🏾
Thank you
OMG!! We are gonna try so many of your dishes on our channel ‼️
Ok cool appreciate that
If you can’t find pink curing can you use the Himalayan salt
It's not the same so if you can't find the curing salt just omit all together
I will try this tomorrow.
Let me know how they turn out
Dang, now I'm hungry! Gotta get me some.

Good look! Try smoking them instead. Complete different taste. I sell them and they go like fire.
My bad you did smoke them.
It's all good
Great video. What brand of vertical smoker are you using?
Masterbuilt sportsman elite
Nice
🦃
😁
Amazing brothaaa I really wanna smoke some Turkey legs it’s been on my mind for a minute … what Smoker do you have ? I really wanna buy one
I have several, I used a master built on these though.
Gotta make.💪🏿💪🏿🔥🔥
Did I hear you right? At 0:29 you said you put a cup of salt in six cups of water! You didn't show putting salt in the water. That bowl doesn't look like it holds six cups of water.
So yummy looking 👌🏽
Thank you, they were
I'm gonna smoke these on Nov. 25th and watch my Cowboys smoke the Raiders!😊.
Lol I hear ya
@@TaylorsFSCooking , I'm going to use your recipe to smoke turkey legs an thighs for Christmas supper.🎄.
Look very good and tasty 😋
Taylor awesome video. I am trying this for Thanksgiving. I got turkey legs and they are huge. What about cooking safety when they are brining. Can I leave them in the brine for 24 hours without them spoiling? Thanks!
Absolutely as long as they are cold
At what temp do you think they're at when you pull them off the grill to wrap them in foil?? They look great!!
About an hr and a half or so. It's really about the color though
@@TaylorsFSCooking trying it tonight ~~ thanks!
Has anyone cooked them on the grill?
Are you serious I'm watching. New family member there showing ♥️. Make them turkey wings dance
Thank you soo much, nice eto meet you🙂
Can u use the oven and get the same results if you don't have a smoker ?
Unfortunately not the same flavor.
WATCHINGG
Yess.. you did this .. my my my.. Great #viralvideo
Ohhh yes.. the bite!!!!
Lol
Thank you Lisa, I appreciate that
I sometimes have a problem with smoking my chicken at 275 it makes the skin rubbery. Do you keep the temp at 275 the entire 3 hours ?
275 the whole time, wrapping them in the foil helps with that.
Going to try what wood you use I'm gonna try apple
That particular time was Hickory, but apple would be great
Not sure if I missed it but what flavor wood chips did you use in the smoker?
I personally allow like mesquite, but pecan, apple, or cherry will do great
What Flavor would chips
Any you want, but I like a stronger smoke flavor So i prefer mesquite with a bit of cherry
