Exactly. If the ending was more peaceful, I don't think any of us would be praising Floch for being right, but for being a relatable villain. Instead, we got this shit ending and now all of us are being compelled to put this guy on a pedestal. Those who don't are probably just coping with the ending and trying to justify Armin's mistakes as much as they can so that they can ignore how bad the series actually became. Are these really the final thoughts you wanted to leave with us Isayama? Because if this wasn't your intention, that only proves further how bad your writing was in the end.
Yea & the thing is, when looking at it in restrospective or better yet, a cause & effect scenario which some chars that are level-headed enough would be able to figure out ahead of time - like Floch - , everything becomes that much more infuriating. When Jean literally asks Hange what'll happen to Paradis after, and even tho' she knows VERY WELL what's the most likely option since she herself has visited other Marley and witnessed how the rest of the world sees Eldians even in that conference that was shown in the last ep in the flashback , the answer she gave was something along the lines of "we'll have a few more years..." that's when you know someone is making decisions based on some ideology with no proper means of achieving it, rather than the logical outcome.
Honestly, I first thought of Floch as a throw away character with some weird hair back in season 3, but when he talked about Erwin and how they needed a devil like Erwin, I started to like him. Then at the Ceremony when he told Hitch the truth and called out the surviving scouts for their decisions on whether to choose Erwin or Armin, I liked him even more. The season 4 comes along and I start questioning my morality, would I side with Eren and Floch who wanted to destroy the world or would I choose the moral high ground and protect the world, I realized Floch was the devil Erwin was, and now with these last few episodes, I know Floch is the Patriotic Devil of the Story. He dedicated his heart to the cause and fought for Eldia to the very end, he fought for his people and understood that if they failed, then Eldia would fall. He led his soldiers to their deaths and nearly single-handedly won the war with his sacrificial charge. This man is the real devil and one of the greatest characters(IMO). A legend.
I genuinely think out of anyone’s plans. Floch and Eren have the most realistic and solid one. Every other one is inconsistent and leads to suffering spanning decades to centuries. While theirs is a quick and effective end with the island being saved. Even Hange, the smartest or second smartest character in the show admits that Eren is right. She just refuses because she cannot bare it morally. Which honestly in actuality is selfish which hits on another theme people seem to miss. Eren isn’t the bad guy. People keep talking about Erens selfishness meanwhile the “protagonists” are selfish enough to slaughter their old friends and murder their leaders, dooming the island and everyone who lives there to eventual invasion from the outside world. all because they are doing what is clearly the only real option, because they cannot morally stomach the rumbling. That is true selfishness. Dooming their old friends and family to die from the outside world that in every other plan would attack paradise anyways...
it's quite sad Floch and Eren didn't have someone like Erwin. they can't convince Paradis Island's citizen to agree on their beliefs. if they can convince Paradis Island people that what they do is right, they will avoid so many internal bloodshed. they just use word of hate and fear to motivate people, not like how Dot Pixis, Erwin, and Armin did to motivate and convincing people, through courage speech and charisma. You can't expect all people of Eldia within Island to agree on a silent maniac killer, remember, Eren never proclaimed himself as king or ruler, and never talk to Paradis people, and suddenly (BAM!), centipede titan goes out there to kill everyone. how Armin's team fight for what morally's right, I think it's not selfish. if Eldian throw away what's morally right, they will develop backwards to their old Eldian days, where they enslave people and kill people easily even if it's their own race. so bloodshed was inevitable, and Floch never interested in having a collab with protagonist, Floch don't have an Ackerman friends, and his dad (Eren) leaves him on a trip to other country, he simply lost to a 100x stronger team...
Oh cmon. You can accept that eren’s plan is bad and still accept that its the only actual right way. Its morally wrong but logically right. You don’t have to turn hange into selfishness when she’s kinda right.
@@uenoyamakamishiro7646 it is selfish. It can be morally right and still selfish. … Did the Alliance forget what Marley has done? Edit: some people in the comments have been saying “Eldia did shit things” or “Eldia is in the wrong”. Fuck off with that shit, I’ll tell you why: 1. Marley and Eldia have been at each other’s throats for hundreds of years. The conflict won’t be ended by talking it out. 2. Marleys citizens (even fellow Eldians) are perfectly fine with their Eldians getting wiped out at Paradis and said Eldians being treated as second hand citizens. These are not good people. And even with what Eren said into account, that, “there are good people here too.”. I think that was just empathy from him realizing they’re getting their comeuppance, but I digress. They are more bad people than good by far, so a sacrifice is needed for Paradis’s safety. 3. Marley attacked first with child soldiers (who were brainwashed Eldian children) and expected no repercussions. The Rumbling is said repercussion. 4. The Alliance is actively sabotaging their own chance of survival, they are traitors. The Rumbling is the only way to survive, as Eren saw at Marley. 5. Why are you guys okay with ARMIN and the traitor gang pretending to be saviors of the world when they’re most likely the ones who’ve done the most scumbag behavior + murder and those actions dooming Eldians to Hell? Eren even asked Hange if she has an alternative plan when he was imprisoned and she couldn’t answer him. None of them can come up with an alternative that suits their morals and conscience. Eren and the Yeagerists have the conviction to get their hands dirty for their beliefs, the Alliance are still twiddling their thumbs and hoping for the best.
That’s the problem with the alliance. Their moral obligations purely surround themselves in the present time. Sure, they can try for world-peace, but what then? How do they know that will work? Most likely yes, remember that he's the only one that heard the whole speech and is still alive, he's the only one that carries the full legacy of Erwin.
Holy shit that just made this scene so much better for me. In a weird and twisted way floch is essentially the embodiment of erwin not armin. I guarantee this ost is playing in floch’s head right before he faces this unbeatable situation. Just like erwin with the beast titan.

That goes also for all of you dumbasses that apparently don't know how to read. And those claiming anyways that Floch had such good intentions, maybe he had? or maybe he was just as thirsty of seeing himself at the top of his newly funded dictatorship, just like the assholes that governed Paradis under the secret command of the Reiss.
Wtf do you mean heat him.
Most anime watchers love floch
A legend.

Shoutout to Jotaro and Giorno for voicing Erwin and Floch
When Zeke's plan sounds good in comparison to theirs, you know they are in the wrong.
it's quite sad Floch and Eren didn't have someone like Erwin. they can't convince Paradis Island's citizen to agree on their beliefs.
if they can convince Paradis Island people that what they do is right, they will avoid so many internal bloodshed. they just use word of hate and fear to motivate people, not like how Dot Pixis, Erwin, and Armin did to motivate and convincing people, through courage speech and charisma.
Astute observation

Fuck off with that shit, I’ll tell you why:
Eldians will get slaughtered like pigs if the Rumbling fails.

Calling Armong beta would be a compliment. What a waste of screen time, that character is...
That's how you make a mob character into someone more likeable than some of the main casts 😀
King Floch ..the true successor of Erwin. hes arc was one of the best in animes, from a coward to absolutely taking control of the army of paradis

Erwin didn’t choose anyone… is was Levi who choose Armin
@@BOLDmGAM3R But why??I mean yeah Levi wanted to free him from his suffering but he had a dream to see that damn basement and wanted to know about outside world and prove his father's theory true. This thing literally makes 0 sense to choose a kid with no experience and have no idea how to work like a commander.Yeah,Yams is a genius lol
@@Ashura658 I also don’t know why Levi pick armin over the commander… but I think is because of what Kenny say’s (everyone is drunk on something to keep them moving) and Levi asked Erwin what he’s gonna do after the basement he said he doesn’t know.. but levi overheard armin says he wanna explore the world and see the sea .. he thought well armin as a greater view then Erwin
If you ask me I’ll say this selfish reason.. that’s what floch say….
Only aimbot and plot Armor can kill floch and that Means something.

I gotta be real. Floch is just the man who is trying to protect his country no matter what. And for the guys with "Rumbling is wrong". Here my answer: It's not right and not wrong either.
-Looking at Eren's respective: he also just wants to defend his country while the whole Marley just wants them to die. And if you only destroy Marley, other countries will try to destroy Eldia after that for that rumbling power. So he has to destroy it all
-Looking at other people's respective: Rumbling is genocide. It's not good as killing people is not good. So the gang is trying to stop this.
-At my respective: Eren and Eldian on Paradis has been suffering from the consequences although the old events had already passed for many many years. And you have already known, the present generation has absolutely nothing to do with taking the responsibility for the foul deeds that their ancestor once made. Yet the hate for Paradis is living still in the heart of many Marley and Eldian in Marley. Eren just sees no way to resolve this because that hate is too big. Ya know, violences breeds violences. But in the end, he has to choose this way.
This is the way
Was not expecting mgr at the end
Just for that MGR reference, I bend the knee.
In the end nobody is right and nobody is wrong. There's just a shit ton of shades of grey.
That's pretty much the world. There's nor good or bad. We only decide the good and bad based on the casualties.
-According to Lord Saladin-
Floch saw Erwin rush to the arms of death for the sake of everything they believed and he did the same. Respect and rest in peace, King.

2 of the fastest Titan, 1 crazy scientist, and 1 living aimbot. And Floch nearly destroy that boat. Such an absolute chad
Floch’s a gangster. All he asked for was to understand the cause, and be given a chance to accept or refuse. And Eren told him, and Floch went along with it, and threw his life away, for what he believed and agreed with.
The curious thing is that they were both attacked in the shoulder and continued to live (I say this because Gaby's shot did not kill him, it only hit him in the shoulder and he fell into the water)

Floch death is exactly the same as Erwin death too.
Is it just me or is there anyone else who saw an image of Erwin inside Floch during that speech at Port??😳😳😳
It’s just you, you are weird.
Armin just wanted to see the ocean. He never wanted to be erwin successor And in the final season and in the end he fails to do live up to the expectation. Armin just proves time and time again how he is the biggest buren to eldia, eren, and Erwin.
Without armin, Erwin, Levi with their squad will still get wiped out even if they managed to slay beast titan.
@@vogel2499 And without erwin, the bigger threat of the beast titan wouldn't have been taken out. The situation with Zeke was MUCHHH harder to solve than Reiner and B. Armins wits there were great but Erwin was just way more suitable to be brought back anyways. Levis worst decision in the entire anime.
He fought for his country and his people till last breath. King Floch 👑 He said the truth that Island will be destroyed if Eren fails.
Floch actually witnessed Erwin when he had gave up on his future for the sake of others. That’s what made him turn out to be the way he was in the final season. Crazy to think how relateable he actually is.

Floch is carrying the legacy of Erwin
The more i watch AOT final season, the more i like him. Now Floch one of my favourite character.
Words can't describe how much I have respect for the people who likes floch
All hail Erwin and Floch!
Zafer Eldianın
The fact is, even though Floch got injured, he attached to the ship underwater and then tried again
I really hated floch until i suddenly appreciated his character by the end. Dude had courage and determination to fight to the end.
In the end of season 3 , he already has the courage to die for people.
It would've been cool if Floch also had that moment when he feels the comrades that charged towards death with him and Erwin are watching him, wondering if their sacrifice had meaning
I decided that floch is my favorite character he truely love his nationality ❤❤❤
My favorite character in the show. Realistic
I don't know if he was really realistic. His motives to defend his country made sense bit I feel like he was way to happy throughout. He would be holding people hostage and have a smile on his face. I just wish he had some more development as it felt weird to have him be a coward in season 3 and put of no where become better at using odm gear then all of the other veteran scouts and being completely fearless and desensitized.
A man who faced death head on
Fears no death anymore
Believes in his freedom
A great leader
Jean was better in terms of leadership. Floch's leadership is the reason why many comrades died without achieving anything tho Jean had experience that's why

Floch and the Yeagerists are fighting to protect their home and countrymen. What are Armin, Mikasa and Hange fighting for exactly? What is their plan to save Eldia?? Eren even asked Hange if she has an alternative plan when he was imprisoned and she couldn’t answer him. None of them can come up with an alternative that suits their morals and conscience. Eren and the Yeagerists have the conviction to get their hands dirty for their beliefs, the Alliance are still twiddling their thumbs and hoping for the best.
That’s the problem with the alliance. Their moral obligations purely surround themselves in the present time. Sure, they can try for world-peace, but what then? How do they know that will work? How will they control foreign countries that are many times their size? They have no plans for the future. The rumbling wasn’t right, but it was necessary. I don’t know why people couldn’t understand that.
cringelliance is a joke
Floch is the type of person with lag and a bad computer who enters a game full of hackers and tryhards, even though he knows he won't be able to beat them or face them, he gives it his all, being hated and insulted by everyone in the chat, but never giving up 🥶
Muy basado, copia y pega esta verdad, FlochGOD es siempre lo mejor.
Erwin siempre será único, pero Floch se ha rifado y a sido el único aparte de Eren que no se dejó llevar por una alianza y mantuvo su posición.

Floch, the successor of the goat, hating him in the beginning but as you get to know his resolution, you realize his greatness.
The traitors of eldia and don’t deserve a happy ending, they are not only helping the people who treated them like slaves and wanted to destroy them, but also killing their own people. Floch would have won if it wasn’t faze gabi and plot armor.
Your an idiot for even supporting Eren and Floch
Team Eren forever 💪Floch was the GOAT went out fighting for his people
Floch would have made out a real empire out of eldia even without the rumbling . Change my mind
Just tell me, how can someone not become brave after hearing that speech from Erwin, Floch is the true successor of Erwin.
You can hate Floch as much as you want, but you can't deny that he stood up for his ideals and protected his land until the end. No one can deny Floch's development, from being a pathetic soldier who preferred to sit and wait for his death rather than die fighting, to being the leader with courage and determination who protected Paradis with his life, resisting until the last moment.
Saviour of Paradis
My hatred for gabi grows every episode
The fact that floch came back just to destroy the airplane in the second last episode🗿
If floch, got that , Paradise have happily lived forever without any war peacefully...
With lastest episode Armin can't compare to Floch anymore .
Erwin's character and personality got divided in Armin with his intelligence and Floch with his leadership skills
only two people knew of Eren's plan, Historia and Floch
He was right when everyone driven by their emotions
For a character introduced at the end of season 3, flock went through so much development. He had the odds stacked against him in the end but never gave up. A true Elida Hero
King Floch supremacy
''I Floch has a dream to protect Eldia''
I started crying when I heard Erwin's charge theme with Floch.
