My gf picked me these up when my older ones broke. I've had no issues with them. I use them mostly gaming on my PC but also xbox one sometimes. I had to buy a mic/audio splitter lead to use properly with my PC and they sound great. Loud and comfy. I recommend.
The headset is way better than my XoFour, mine is just too much leather, but Recon 50x is way more comfortable than those, thank goodness I bought the recon 50x

BriansPOV actually mic monitoring is still there just press your Xbox button and go to the gear all the way on the right then press audio and its there i have it all the way up so i can hear my self when streaming
I have them and the wires going to each ear are twisted to the point where if I untwist them, they return to being tangled the second I let go, like when you stretch an elastic band and it returns to how t was before

The ear cups are very uncomfortable in my opinion but these are good for their price. They’re lightweight though which sort of evens out the uncomfortable ear cups. If you’re just scrolling by to see somebody else’s opinion, here’s mine haha

I literally just got that Turtle Beach Recon 50X for Christmas and the fucking aux jack FELL OUT. Its been 4 days since I got the piece of shit and it already broke. Didnt even throw it or anything like that, haven't even jammed it into my controller. Was playing CODWW2 and I noticed that the aux jack was in my Xbox 1 controller but the cord was no longer connected. What a waste of money

If you are going to use them for a PC, all you have to do is plug them into the microphone port on the PC. No adapter should be needed.

Make sure that the controller on the headset has the sound turned all the way up. That usually does the trick. Hope this helps!

Hunter King when I had a turtle beach headset for Xbox 360 to use the mic monitoring I had to have the mic really close to my mouth to hear my self.
