Honestly no. As a rockets fan, we played well. Look at the stats. Alot of the media narrative is silly. Everyone misses shots, so highlighting a few is silly. I think it's moronic to put "blame" on a player. I played college sports and independent baseball professionally so I know what choking is. Choking by my definition is allowing the situation hamper your play to a significant degree. James Harden stats were nearly identical so I don't see the "choke". Choking would be a hitting all of a sudden can't hit or can't field a ground ball hit right at them. James put up 35 points..... And additionally he was efficient. Also they mention Kawi, the claw, he was 16 for 39!!! That's 41% lol and James at 45% was awful. Come on. People lose games it's not the end of the world, but to bash a player who basically did everything for one team all series should be commended. LeBron games played with Kryie and Kevin Love and lost to the same Warriors team. Let's make this clear, LeBron is better than Harden

If anything choked was the defense, I Capella because he is supposed to stop people getting layups in the lane. Capella got beat my Looney in game 6. So no stop the nonsense and just watch basketball for what it it.
The Rockets spend too much time looking for statistical data to explain why they are losing to GSW. Harden lacks heart since he spends too much time looking for fouls and he seems to quiet down once the playoffs start.
Shannon Washington nah that was a straight up choke from top to bottom the rockets were complete and at home while kd was out for the rest of the series. As for hardens 35 points he does the same lebron does were they make sure they get theirs regardless of winning as long as they fill up the stat sheet. After being so arrogant all season and after complaining over last year they choked when it was all in their favor.

nah, Houston is just not that good, it's amazing they even get this far. Just think about it, OKC has Westbrook/George/Adams, on paper you'd take that over Harden/Paul/Capela, and yet Rockets always get farther than OKC. Chris Paul is overrated, Capela is one dimensional, and Harden's too much of a ball hog.
why are people acting like these rockets teams were ever favorites to win it all? From 2014 onwards did ANYONE go into the season saying the rockets are favoured over the warriors, Spurs(2014-2017), OKC (2014-2016), etc..? They aren't overly talented they have 2 stars and some decent role players. They maximized their talent and have had to go up against the greatest team in NBA history each year and have challenged them more than any other team in the league since KD joined.

Harden & CP3 played great in game 6, but D'Antoni seemed to make 0 adjustments to Capella being ineffective. Feel like D'Antoni would be better suited as an assistant coach. @@smokelakes I appreciate the comment. I agree as a fan Capella was getting bet by Looney and Durant on the pick and roll. It reminded me of Deange Jordan when he played with Chris Paul. Jordan was HIGHLY overrated and I believe was offered a max contact by the Mavericks. Playing is a high pick in roll offense allows the rollers with a great ball hander to get easy baskets which in turn makes their numbers more attractive than their actual play itself.
I will say this much, I think the Bucks can beat the Warriors not because they are a top seed because it's match up problem. The rockets and the warriors are both undersized teams and not extremely long aside from Durant. The warriors and rockets were like two twins fighting each other.
With the bucks, they shot 3s so they can potential stay in the game, but I dont see Durant stopping Gainnis the same way he DOMINATED Capella.

Thank you. And teams still haven't figured that out. Really what has happened is teams just shoot more 3pointer now while Golden State still shoots about whatever is the average amount. But Golden state is 1 of 3 teams that still uses the midrange(mostly when they win). Some rosters have improved because of guys moving around, but really teams still play the same, they just increased their 3 point shooting attempts and everybody contests shots 20-35% less than before.

It's funny how much better a bench looks when you share the ball. GSW brought out the best in their bench in the final game and it was impressive considering people have been saying all year "they have no bench....they gave it up for KD." They have developed their bench and their bench being strong the last game was important. Check the box score, they played almost everyone on the roster in a closeout game!
