It pains me that you can clearly see Guerilla Games put their hearts and souls into every corner of this game. From the visuals to the tight and fun gameplay across the various machines to the sci-fi story, to the ost etc. Only for ppl to shit on it because of Elden Ring. This is the second time something like this is happening to them. In 2017 they took a big risk dropping Killzone and attempting a different genre they were very unfamiliar with and ppl shitted on Zero Dawn because of Zelda. It's sad because I love this franchise as a sci-fi fan.

Remember guys, this is an OPEN WORLD game and the character models have this much detail. If you remember you’ll know that open world games in the past lacked detail compared to more linear focused story games, because they don’t have the entire open world somewhat hindering them. This means those games will look even better in theory than forbidden west which is just insane
This is the reason why other games (I.e. Halo infinite) need more immersive environments and biomes. They fit so seamlessly together in this game it would be great to see this in other games
I don't have a Ps5 but I can't help but think this game got its time to shine taken away by Elden Ring which got all the praise (which it deserved). If not for Elden Ring, I think this would have been much higher praised. The world design looks really good.

Just read the synopsis i would say. Imo the story and actual concept is really really good but the way its told in the first game is pretty lousy. The second game starts off IMMEDIATELY after the first game ends and it is SOOOO much better in the way the story is told and different characters are introduced than the first game. Imo IF u have a PS5 then HFW is a MUST-PLAY

I recommend playing the first game first. Not because you need to play it to understand the sequel, which has a recap video, but because the sequel's recap video doesn't do the first game's story justice. The moment you find out why the world is what it is is something that shouldn't be experienced in a recap video.
Maybe! I would probably want it to be in a mostly complete state before doing it but also I haven't checked in on Star Citizen in years now so I'm not sure where it's at. I definitely remember it being pretty incredible to look at 5 years ago.

If you push Aloy up against a surface, the camera nudges forward and hides her character model, which is how this was all filmed (minus a few photomode shots). It was not easy to make this video
@@milkman8039 Just saw this, if there’s a subtle zoom-in than that’s in post but I try to avoid even those when I can. Everything is captured as is in game. The smooth camera pans/tilts are easier when dropping the look sensitivity to the lowest setting (and then you have to raise it back up again to play 😅) but if you look too far Aloy shows up. It’s quite a process. With the game on PC now there are free camera tools which would have made this so, so much easier.

I just can't. When a member of the creative team stated the reason Aloy looks so different from the actress portraying her: Beautiful woman too fragile and can't handle being adventurous. I refused to buy the game. No matter how good it is. Why does Aloy look so different for the first game? In the squeal so looks like she has a glandular problem.
I'm not sure why people are still lying about Aloy appearing uglier/fatter in Forbidden West. Those two photos that people always cite as proof that they "uglified" Aloy aren't even representative of how she actually looks in the game. Those two photos were from a year old, vertical slice demo that doesn't even make it into the final game. If you're comparing her to her Zero Dawn model, she simply looks way more realistic in Forbidden West thanks to great texture work and animation improvements. I rarely reply to these types of comments because if I replied to all of them, I'd be in the TH-cam comments until I died lol.

Devs do this sometimes and off the top of my head, this same thing happened in Devil May Cry V with Trish and the model that portrayed her and nobody bitched about that. I also looked up a comparison of Hannah Hoekstra to Aloy in Forbidden West and the likeness is not that far off. I also saw a picture of Hannah without makeup and again, not far off. So I'm not sure what else to tell you, Aloy looks fine.

Like the woman in Outer Worlds. If the game is made in the east, the women are feminine, sexy & attractive. Like in the Resident Evil remakes. Even though that shit of Jill picking up that railgun in RE3 is unrealistic.
