- Sheriff Keith Pearson confirmed multiple people were killed at the Spanish Lakes Country Club, a senior community off Spanish Lakes Boulevard near Fort Pierce.

I live 5 Minutes from there.. A huge tornado went passed my house a headed that way with flying debris metal and wood everywhere! Hopefully everyone can stay safe and so so sry about the ones lost.😢

Proof that tornados can be even worse than hurricanes sometimes. When I was young we had friends that had just moved into their brand new brick home, a tornado came thru and the house no longer existed. I grew up in the land of tornados but no hurricanes, now I'm in the land of hurricanes AND tornados! What was I thinking?!

Jet stream interaction right before landfall caused an unusually high number of tornadoes. Jet streams not a joke.
I lived in Florida for 12 years but grew up in Alabama and went through 2 F5 tornados and its beyond scary !
You never know when a tornado is going to happen. It can be a beautiful day and in an hour or less your home can be blown away.

In Orlando, it sounds like a Hurricane now, it started to get stronger 3am - 4am (strongest winds and sounds), no damages, 🙏, the wind sounds woke me up.

I wish FEMA was this fast and effective! I get that it takes longer to pull federal resources, but it’s always a cluster when FEMA is involved. Been through multiple hurricanes myself.
Even though I don't care for Gov DeSantis, way to go for sending out the Guard! Gov Kemp NEVER sent us help in Waycross GA / Ware County even though we were begging for it!
