Thank you! Took me less than 5 minutes to make one. I used a long bamboo pole to make it lighter. I think a narrow clear plastic bottle is better, so you can get in thru narrow spaces between branches, and you can see what you're doing.

Great idea! Thank you! I tried it and it worked! I had to make a little modification because my milk carton handles were kind of skinny, so I put a broom handle into the bottle top, and then used gaffer tape to secure the two pieces. It worked! Not as good as the way you show it done, but for me it was all I needed. Thanks!

Mount a couple of box cutter blades to the "V" and problem solved for hard to cut.

I just used my home made one using this design, and you definitely don't need to add any cutters. It worked an absolute treat! I was totally blown away by how effective it was on our huge mango tree!

@@JonnyDIY Made it in a few minutes, using a 2L milk container, twisted a small sharp knife to make the hole, and then slid in & then screwed in a long thin bamboo garden stake that I had a bunch of. So super simple! We have a VERY large tall mango tree and I was disappointed that the fruit picker I ordered online has still not arrived, yet our mangoes are well & truly ready to be picked. Your design worked an absolute treat! I couldn't believe how easy and effective it was! Well chuffed! and can't wait to tuck into some fresh mangoes. Thanks again ☺

Nice! Funny I just made another one of these today for a friend to pick their Fuji apples. Made it with a 2 liter soda bottle, worked geat. I cut a thinner slit at top to pull them, worked better than the shape in video

Sorry to hear, try and do the soapy water spray test to find leak and glue again. Make sure glue area really clean, grease free and dry
