Wow....How lucky are those kids to get to spend such quality time with their parents. I wish I could have had a family like yours. Thanks for sharing all the great times you have together. Stay safe out there on the roads.
The wide turn theory works good with normal like semi trailers. But with campers and 5th wheels the way you're talking about turning you have to watch for the tail swing a lot more. Cause the axles are so stupid far forward. Just what I've learned from driving the semi trailers over the years.
We are so excited to finally see your Fort Wilderness episode!! Thank you for the TripToppers shout out!! That was really sweet of you to mention my Etsy shop!! You and Tori looked so adorable in the ears! I was so happy to see you all ended up getting to ride Avatar Flight of Passage!
One thing a lot of new tow hauler owners don't realize is the tongue weight is going to be much heavier than a comparable size non-hauler trailer, because the toy garage is above or behind the axles of the trailer, so a 2000lb toy load would offset a lot of that tongue weight. I had this same thing happen the first time I towed our toy hauler without anything in the back. From then on, even if we are just taking it out for the weekend without anything in the garage, I put as much weight as I can of camping gear, BBQ, tools, whatever in the garage to offset the weight. Otherwise you can easily overload the read axle of your truck, as you found out. The nice thing about a toy hauler is the axles are far back, so they track really well.
Donald Tripp I know a guy with a huge toy hauler that didn’t have much weight in the back and it developed stress cracks on the corners up front. Had to go back to manufacture. Next they got a new trailer so unsure if it was unfixable. Without that counterbalancing troubles will arise
Just bought that domestic cooler over the weekend. On sale at camping world for 800$ with a discount code. Bought it to supplement the refrigerator and as a backup. Our refrigerator is 14 years old now and I wouldn’t be surprised for it to go out at any time.
We’re so excited to go to Fort Wilderness in November! Can’t wait to hear your review. You guys inspired us to buy a camper and travel more, and we decided to document our journey too! Thank you for the motivation!
Highway Therapy I am so inspired by them as well! I just checked out your channel and subscribed. I look forward to watching your experience and adventures! Hopefully one day we will be traveling as well!!!!
Great videos! Some info and terminology for you guys: Wide right turns with 5th wheel rigs, like semi-truck and trailer rigs, are of two basic kinds: button-hook turns and jug-handle turns. ( I hear you snickering!) Button-hook turns are when you proceed straight into the intersection and then hook a hard right into the next lane over (or opposing lane) and swing back into your lane to continue. The trailer tires should be quite close to the curb thru the entire turn. Jug-handle turns involve swinging the power-unit (that's your pickup truck) partially or fully over to the left and possibly into the next or opposing lane, BEFORE you break the plane of the intersection, and THEN swing right...and depending on the radius you cut, the trailer may or may not be close to the curb (watch out for 4-wheelers cutting in between you and the curb, always have that right turn signal blinking!) but both the pickup and the trailer will arc into your desired lane as you depart the intersection. Using either technique (or sometimes a combination of both) depends on the intersection and the traffic in, and approaching it, if any. Hope this makes sense.
button hook turns are a personal favorite of mine, when there is a vehicle in the opposing lane. the look on there faces, when your heading straight for them, and only 2 foot away from hitting them is just priceless lol there is a line on most roads indicating where your supposed to be stopped for the light. most ignore that and pull ahead blocking the intersection.....so i target those when i have the toy hauler behind me.
You're spot on with the turning of that thing, Marc. You're nearly as long as my big rig @ 75". Here are some tips if you don't know them already: If there are more than 1 left turn lane, you always want to be in the farthest right lane and finish in the farthest right lane. If there are multiple right turn lanes, be in the furthest left lane. When making a right turn, go out straight just like you said and turn hard to prevent curbing your trailer tires. NEVER do a "jug handle" turn where you swing wide left then turn right because this will give people behind you an opportunity to sneak up on your right and bad things happen (and YES, there ARE people that do this!).
I have the smaller version of the Dometic. Best thing I have ever bought for the RV. I use it because I will not drive with fridge running on LP. Runs for days on a 100ah battery when no AC available. Cools super quick and stays at the temp setting. You will not be disappointed. I do regret not buying a bigger version.
Norcold Refrigerator solution (for us) - I think we have the same Norcold model 2118 refrigerator. Ours consistently would not get cold enough in the freezer, the refrigerator part seemed ok, but we never measured the temp since the freezer would only go down to about 25 deg F. I trouble shot the various voltages and everything seemed to be correct. I solved the problem by installing a dual refrigerator fan ( Titan- 12V DC Double Rack Mount Ventilation Cooling Fan for Refrigerator Vent and Ventilation Grille with Speed Controller (90mm) TTC-SC22 from Amazon) and now our freezer gets to 8 degF. Fyi, the 120mm fans might be too large and the smaller 90mm fans work great. Also, our left refrigerator door flap that is in the middle would get stuck open leaving a gap between the doors. It seems that Norcold did install the washer to raise our door, but then the flap would get stuck on another part of the door. We solved that by slowly shaving off the rubbing plastic. (Difficult to explain in writing on where the rubbing plastic is).
I have the same dometic unit and love it. I plug it into 12 volt DC and can run it while traveling and keep items refrigerated that need to be between destinations.
My wife "loves it" when I take my truck and trailer across the scale to make sure we're legal. Now every time we pass a scale her and my daughters say " Dad we should totally scale the truck!!!" Good job, not enough people take the time to make sure they're safe, and alot of people lecture about getting a 1 ton and never check their weights.
Our family went to Fort Wilderness a few years ago with a 29' bunkhouse TT. Found it a little tight trying to manuever it back into the space. Once we finally got unhooked and set up, it was a very memerable experience. Kids had a blast. Looking for a return trip someday. Glad to see your kids smiling too.
We’ve stayed at Ft Wilderness several times. We always feel that the best part is having our bikes to ride and our own real food! That cuts the cost of Disney way down, and we don’t feel like garbage from eating horrible after a week at the parks. Also, we were there same time as you! The weather was wild, but not as bad as predicted.
Perfect! You guys make my Sunday so great along with Less Junk More Journey my 2 favorite channels! Thank you and great to see Tori! We stayed at shades of green the last time we were there and the extra hours for being on the property is amazing. We always came back to the resort and went to the pool and ate and took naps. Early in the morning and evening are the best! Not sure if they still do single rider lines but they were a hidden gem!
You probably need to get a golf cart or something to take some of the weight off the truck....assuming it would even some of the weight to the back of the trailer.
Great video. So nice to see the whole family together!! As your children get older, these times together get more precious to you all. I'm a huge Disney fan so thanks for taking us along. Safe and wonderful travels 😊💕🇺🇸
Fort Wilderness is our favorite place ever! We were there a few days after Hurricane Irma and Disney had just opened the campground back up. There were freshly cut tree stumps all over. Literally reopened the campground 2 days before we arrived and it was almost like there was never a storm. Disney is absolutely amazing at their land management
Those 12 volt coolers are the bomb. About 7 years ago we bought one from ARB and use it often. Only one zone but it gets down to -15 Celcius in a snap. Usually use it when my RV fridge messes up in the winter months. I live in it full time for working out of town and winters up north are a pain for RV living. Also had a 2 zone Engel that worked incredible. Happy to see Dometic stepped up their game for you.
It has really been a great joy to watch as your family has transitioned over the past couple years with Ginger Jr and now Queen Ginger! Thanks for taking us along on the journey 🤙🏼
We went to Fort Wilderness in January and stayed in the cabins. Was it expensive? Yes! Would I do it again? Absolutely! But next time I would like to bring a trailer (my next goal) just to save money. Fort Wilderness was amazing the staff was incredible the only thing I will recommend is looking into the Dining Plan. Love KYD cannot wait for the next episode!
I just took my first rv adventure, and can't wait to go to fort wilderness. We went to Tampa.. our rv is much smaller then this! I just did a video on ours! When we were traveling to Tampa my mom was in pure panic mode on every bump...
WELCOME TO ORLANDO! I just moved away from there after about 18 years. I live in Mexico now. I pulled my 35 ft Keystone Laredo travel trailer down here. Awesome videos. You're Mexico video is one of the videos I researched before moving here.
We stayed at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground for a month in 2010 when we had our first diesel pusher. Best month of our families life. So many great memories were made.
As you were refering to in the begining with turning. I learned from truckers how to haul and tow. I dont have a CDL, but i could go get one tomorrow if desired. When turning, you take all the room you have and more if possible. I pull a largest cattle trailer on the market for dually trucks. Its a tri could be quad axle looks about 40ft long i think. You learn to take all the room you have possible every turn even if not needed. Dont concern yourself with tail-swing as there aint much. Ive dont scared a couple cars and waited trough traffic light cycles pissing traffic off because others were in the way. Thats just how it is, and how i deem safe. Afterall, i do not have an accident on record for being at fault. Ive been in a couple because of people running lights, signs and road rage, but never one from my mistake.
We do the same thing as far as the hours in the park. We are in at park opening, have an early cheap lunch, then back to the hotel/campground for nap, pool time, on on site event and back into the parks for 4 -5 PM, some more touring in Epcot and then an hour before fireworks, we are poppin' a squat at the Rose and Crown in England on the patio for dinner and dessert while we "linger" a bit with a prime viewing spot for the fireworks. If we're in MK for the fireworks, we head to the Contemporary Resort or Grand Floridian Narcossee's for prime viewing there. If you are at Disney in the dead of summer, you avoid the super, duper hot part of the day that just exhausts you and you miss the afternoon thunderstorms.
You guys have such great content, y'all really need your own show. I can't believe non of the networks haven't approached y'all yet. Love everything y'all stand for and look forward to every show. Keep on Daydreaming! Xo
You do know that you’re very fortunate to have a successful TH-cam channel because otherwise dometic would not react to your issues as quickly... and I can not be convinced otherwise
@@DuffyGabi lol I don't think it was meant that way not that being successful is lucky but that being successful is what gave them such fast response from dometic and that getting fast response from RV companies is lucky no matter how it came to be.
Our fridge stays cold, but the adjustment switch did go out, but worked. Now I feel like I need that “spare” fridge just in case. Great videos and keep up the great work. 44’ powered by an F-250, and yes, need more truck for long hauls.
Those Dometic CFX coolers are awesome! You got the big one, dual zone, dual controls. I have a CFX50, and it makes the perfect beer fridge for the patio. Turn it down to about 30 degrees, and icy cold beers! If you are running them on battery, the CFX95 dual zone you have will run about 2-3 days on a 100ah deep cycle battery. Awesome for dry camping. My CFX50 will run over 24 hours on a little 33ah battery in my Goal Zero 400 power pack. With my 100 watt solar panel, and decent sun, I can run it indefinitely.
Regarding the noise, check that the cam levers on the B&W puck system are correctly adjusted. I have the same Ford puck system and B&W hitch. The cam locks need to be adjusted so the levers are tight when locked in.
OMG! Your daughter is so much like Tricia! Even mannerisms and speech! I did a double take. I wonder if the noise you heard was something that fell from the roof? AC cover? Antenna? Something left there from Lazy Days? One of the secrets of Disney is to avoid going from a show to a ride. Shows let out a thousand people and rides take them in slowly. I also heard Tuesday is the lightest day. Once we attempted to have a drink in every country in Epcot during a press event. OMG! A whole new way to see the park....we were kindly asked to keep it down.
Guys! Thanks for the reps! So nice to meet you! We kept the truck and 5th wheel a secret for months! Still can't believe I saw you in the new truck by accident when you got stuck behind the horse carriage! Can't stop all the exclamation points! Maybe see you when you swing through our town. Safe Travels
I have been to Disney World more then I would like to admit with my kids (we don't live in Orlando). My kids are grown up now and we haven't been in years. A must read is the "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2019" by Bob Sehlinger. The best part of the guide is the multiple day guides that are included in the book. They have them for kids, multi-day, grownups only, etc. I use to take the one for the kids and modify it to fit our family (just a bit) and laminate it. My kids use to make fun of me, but we always felt like we hit the rides at the right time and had a lot of fun. The two biggest things I remember from the guide: #1 - Have a plan. Don't figure out what you are doing one ride at a time. There was a story about how a family got off Space Mountain. The family right in front of them were discussing which ride to do next. They went to their ride, came out, and the same family was still arguing about which ride to go to next 45 MINUTES LATER. #2 Take the afternoon off. Either have a character lunch at the park or something planned back at your hotel. Do the pool, your hotel, nap, some activity away from the park, and there are many. Head back to the park at about 4:00. I hope you are having fun!!!
Our first RV was a momentum and we had problems with our fridge also. Funny that we do not have a you tube channel so we did not get the portable cooler offered to us by the company. Never got the fridge to work correctly so we sold the unit and bought a DRV with a residential fridge and solar to power it while going down the road. Have not looked back and yes, we full time.
Love your videos.. I pull a 44.5 ft triple axle toy hauler as well. I will say in my old Super C rv I switched from a dometic RV (propane/electric) refrigerator to a residential refrigerator, and I would never go back to an RV style fridge. I have a residential LG fridge in my toyhauler now, and with the inverter it works great. The truck alternator charges the batteries going down the road, so it never goes dead while towing. While dry camping the 4 batteries in the 5th wheel will keep the fridge going for a day or two, but with the generator running, of course the batteries are charging again. I'll never go back to an RV style fridge. I am jealous of the Dometic cooler they sent you though.... I want one!!!
Fort Wilderness is one of my favorite campgrounds! It's amazing! A couple of corrections on your Disney tips though in case no one has said it. Fast passes can be made 60 days in advance if you are staying on Disney property, 30 days otherwise. And dining reservations can be made 180 days in advance if staying on property. Also, parking is not free for all Disney resorts, except Fort Wilderness. I guess they assume that you are pulling your camper or towing a car, so they don't charge you for parking at your own site. Such a fun place to visit!
I’ve got to second Marc’s “skip the afternoon “ tip. I worked at Disneyland for several years, which taught me to always go “home” in the afternoon for a nap. Especially if you are with young children, but it is good advice for anyone. You beat the worst crowds, the worst heat, and miss most of the tired, crying children.
Mark - It's called a button hook turn. They can be very difficult especially in tight or urban areas. Also be careful when executing those turns is wet or icy conditions they can actually cause a jack knife. I love the new rig, it looks really sharp.
That was a fun video! I’ll never complain about 9000 lbs towing again. For as big as Fort Wilderness is I was surprised by how tight the loops are. Disney can be a fabulous experience if you plan carefully, get their early, and you got to use that app. We made us a 20 item summer checklist that has everything from a drive-in movie to white water rafting in Colorado to making homemade ice cream to visiting a museum. That’s a great idea! Thanks guys! Love the videos!!
I know people don’t normally go up too on their RV’s but I’ve seen plenty of tools and such come off RV’s traveling down the highway. That weight is close to what we weighed coming out of Alaska to SC. Our trailer was just under 21,000 lbs. 450 pulls it good and the engine breaking is awesome. The Rockies are not a problem. As for turns, remember the tail swing. I’ve seen people back into or pull into things because they were to involved with watching one side for to long. Each turn may require a different approach to complete. Wide hips don’t like most drive-through. Remember it’s a dually.
The personality of your entire family is just perfect in my opinion. I would def tune in if someone pitched a show of your adventure while still allowing “how to” information. Looking forward to seeing how you organize inside, pass through storage, gadgets used, and so on. We move into ours in 3 days!! Super nervous. Girlfriend and I are travel therapist
Nice rig -i have very similiar rig. I have 2013 dutchman voltage toyhauler full body paint- it looks very very similiar to yours. Mine is 42 ft 9inches long and weighs 19,000 gross. You are now towing some serious weight. As a similiar owner i suggest please check your tires and see if they are g rated and 14 ply. If not i suggest you get new tires right away. I just had brand new cheap tires on my toyhauler it came with. They lasted about 6 months before i had my first blowout. When my front right tire blewout on my voltage it tore out my electrical to my kitchen slide. Fortunately i was able to repair the wiring myself. (Not my first toyhauler blowout.) I love my rig. You will get used to towing yours and find that the factory fuel tank on your f450 now seems very small. Since your new ginormous rig is so long it is not as easy to a fuel station that will fit you-causing range anxiety with your likely 35 gallonish stock fuel tank. I removed the factory tank on my f350 6.7L diesel and had a larger 55 gallon after market one put in. Its better than putting a fuel tank in your bed- but it costs more. Costed about $1300 installed. These large toyhaulers are a moderate pain in the but to tow around-BUT- once you are setup they are so worth it! Enjoy your videos!
Love the "didn't study for school analogy for Disney.. very true!" Also.. that temporary Fridge, aka cooler is amazing! Keep on inspiring you guys! Great work as always. 😀
I'm in the process of selling my home and buying a 5th wheel or trailer to live in full time. Your videos have been an amazing help because I have no clue what I'm doing 🤪
So good to see Tori again! I think her brother's were happy to see her as well and I know you both were happy to have this special time with her. I sure hope nothing broke off the rig. That looks like a monster to pull, but you have the truck to do it. Just looks scary to me. lol You guys are a pro though and do great! I got to experience Disney a little bit several years ago. Loved it, but knowing know I should have rented a scooter because of my health. If I ever get back, I will! Loved seeing you all enjoy it! Hugs, Brenda
We take delivery on our Momentum 398M and will insist on a walk thru and we won't leave the dealer until it's 100% operating. The fridge operation is essential and your dealer should have caught that early.
Dive Bar Casanova we took almost 6 hours to do our walkthrough on our imagine in March. The technician was less than happy. But we actually found several things that they fixed on the spot. Unfortunately we didn’t find out that the ac wasn’t working (46 degrees at time of pickup) until 2 weeks ago. Now our Talulah sits at the dealer waiting a diagnosis. ☹️
Hey Mark. When making 90 degree turns, the key is button hooking. Look it up and you’ll find info online. It’s how Semi Trucks turn with 53 foot trailers and it makes a massive difference vs just a regular wide turn.
As for some of the bump an grind you are now hearing is from the 5th wheel and kingpin it travels from trailer through the kingpin down to the truck frame, just make sure your locking jaws on 5th wheel are adjusted properly and retighten all bolts on 5th wheel mounts. Great video, Check out Iowa 80 truck stop in Walcott Ia it’s the home HQ of Cat scale, it’s the worlds biggest truck stop check em out online.
Mark: As a former professional driver for Werner; your points on turning are correct. You go out into the intersection a long way, then turn your truck tight. The trailer will track behind you, but it has to have the space.
Looking forward to how you feel about driving this rig say, six months in. Still see a little trepidation, but the caution you exercise is brilliant! Some day we'll get our little TT (just the wife and I) and start our adventures. You guys are an inspiration!
I forgot to mention that because of your video, I'm now looking at the 399th also. I've looked at Jayco's Seiminic 4113th with side patio. I need a new truck, looking at f450, or Dodge f3500 heavy duty. Thank you again.
We just left this evening. We decided to get a room at Port Orleans though. I thought I saw Tori getting off the bus there lol. Happy to see the 1st voyage was a success
I have that dometic mobile side by side. Works excellent and doesnt draw all that much power. Cannot reccomend it enough. If dometic will make you a deal on it...buy it for backup/overflow. Not too noisy and the baskets are very nice also. Do, a long-term review! Great video. Thanks!
Perfect example of how people will go get a 350 or 450 and think they have more truck then they will ever need but yet you just proved how close you are to maximums and are actually very close to being overloaded. I hope you drive accordingly
We moved to Florida in 98 and stayed at the fort till our house was built. The first two hrs we had one of those storms. Omg I've never seen it rain and thunder and lightning like that before. Now I'm just eh. But going back to the fort always feels like home
Norco has a reset system on it, youtube it. We had to replace ours Norco, pain in the a$$. It stopped working and thought we would need to replace it...again...found the reset...and it's working great! Best of luck!
Its called squaring the turn, or late entry in motor sports terms. In this case its so you can be on the power earlier/longer before the next corner. It just so happens it works well for towing. When people say take wide turns they also mean this, take a wide entry, turn sharp that opens up your exit
We have friends that 20 years ago had a tree fall on their trailer in F.W. while they were at M.K. when they got back to where their trailer had been there was a Disney team waiting where their trailer had been. Disney had taken the trailer away to be repaired and put them up in a huge 3 bedroom suite in the Wilderness Lodge. Refunded their stay at F.W. and their park passes and gave them a free stay for the future and paid for all their meals out. When they took them to their suite they had disney overnight bags for the whole family with pj's, bathing suits, toiletries, flip flops, and then they brought them everything they needed from their trailer. Our friends said it was their best Disney trip ever. Oh and they got a behind the scenes VIP tour of M.K. and they got to go to any dinner shows/character breakfasts they wanted to.
me and jax the other month went to disney. spent $350 to get in but we had no clue the fast pass really needs to be done the day before. we ended up seeing hours per feature and the same for fast pass. so, advice would be to future disney trippers is to prep days before, get the app and figure it all out before you get there.
Great video as far as someone saying that y’all were lucky for having a popular you tube channel as far as I have noticed lucks got nothing to with it creating and sustaining this requires a lot of work but y’all make it look easy and I have watched from the beginning
Hi Marc and Trish ! Great Video.. Marc .. One thing... on 90 degree turns.. but swinging wide before you execute the 90 … Watch your tail swing on the Momentum !! You have some length behind the wheels that can take out cars; Trees ; or other objects.
Hi Marc and Trish! My husband and I are leaving on our first RV trip next week! We have been binge watching your travels for the last few weeks. Now my brother and his wife are watching you guys too! We live in Florida and will be picking up our RV not too far from Disney world on Saturday June 22nd. If you see this post, let me know! We would love to find you and say hi. It's me, my husband and our two doggies in a Class C. I'm scared to death... but in a good way!!! God bless you and your sweet family!
This is awesome. Congrats. Catching up on your videos as we just started our travels. F-150 with a 26..2 box, and I felt the same way as you, every noise, bump. I did get the cat scale app, now I just roll in, pay with cell and roll out.... became a hobby, and my wife just like trish....”again?” ..
Great video....We love Disney, we now stay off property for 3 months at a time only 20 minutes away for like $700 per month. Just like you said, skip out on the middle of the day...Night is my favorite.
Because your trailer nose is over the truck bed, airflow can cause unfamiliar noises at highway speed and it can suck bed contents out, which might be fine with a bumper pull. Use extra care securing.
First time here... beautiful rig and set up.... never in a million years would I buy any camper from any brand... live in a state with dozens of rv manufactures... good luck!
We have the 2019 Solitude with the same Norcold Fridge. The flap is an easy fix, just place 2 5/16 brass washers under the left door hinge and it will solve the problem of sagging. This will become a major problem when you put weight (food) on the door. You will have to do this with the new fridge, when you get it. Until I discovered this, our fridge still worked, it just wouldn’t get below 50F in the fridge and 30’s in the Freezer. So you must have another issue if it’s not cooling at all.
Keep Your Daydream I fixed mine last week in stead of putting in a warranty claim. It’s currently 30 in the fridge, 10 in the freezer on setting 5. 78F outside temp.
Hands down the best RV channel on TH-cam.
Agreed!
mattsbrute ya they do an excellent job. They definitely are ones we try our best to emulate
Agreed.
Would appreciate anyone checking out our channel.
Chris
We are so excited to finally see your Fort Wilderness episode!! Thank you for the TripToppers shout out!! That was really sweet of you to mention my Etsy shop!! You and Tori looked so adorable in the ears! I was so happy to see you all ended up getting to ride Avatar Flight of Passage!
Those ears are adoreable! Can they be ordered by anyone?
Keeping an Open mind thank you!
Great videos! Some info and terminology for you guys: Wide right turns with 5th wheel rigs, like semi-truck and trailer rigs, are of two basic kinds: button-hook turns and jug-handle turns. ( I hear you snickering!)
Button-hook turns are when you proceed straight into the intersection and then hook a hard right into the next lane over (or opposing lane) and swing back into your lane to continue.
Tori has all her mother's mannerisms. Great video.
So much better than Netflix!
I have to say that your editing skills are top notch. Nice pace, great content, and fun to watch. Thank you.
We had a problem with our Momentum fridge too. Also with the jacks. Hope all is better soon.
Great to see Tori back in the gang.
Love the video, Keep up the great work.
Keep the rubber on the road.
God bless you and your family.
I look forwards to my Sunday’s because of the KYd videos! Keep em coming! Almost 200k subscribers! You guys are growing quickly!
*I can't wait to hear about the noise.*
*opens door*
"Okay, let me get a credit card real quick."
"Can I get one of your cards?"
*closes door*
lol
We went to Wilderness Campgrounds back in May. We loved it !! It was our new Flagstaff's virgin run!!! No problems.
WELCOME TO ORLANDO! I just moved away from there after about 18 years. I live in Mexico now. I pulled my 35 ft Keystone Laredo travel trailer down here. Awesome videos. You're Mexico video is one of the videos I researched before moving here.
Move the thermistor to the middle of the cooling fins. It will work. I have the exact same fridge and cooling issue.
Great video and keep them coming!
Xo
Nice. Thanks Jamie. We've talked to Networks. Their offers aren't very compelling :) Be here, do this, say this. Meh.
Keep Your Daydream Good for y’all! Yes I will agree about the networks. Have FUN and Love the new rig!
He showed a Notcold, I mean Norcold fridge in his rig. Is it a Dometic fridge that they have?
First thing I think when seeing a comment like this one is "Jealous much?".
It was road debris on white line 2:44.
@@richardhanninen3534 Oh, wow! Looks like a piece of tire carcass.
Glad it wasn't a Lazy Days tech holding on the roof for dear life!
Yes, I think I'm headed down that same path. The lithium battery bank we're installing, charging a fridge while dry camping will not be a problem.
The stress attendant to this grand (huge) adventure shows in both your faces.
We are starting our adventure and will be in Fort Wilderness in Dec. Was hoping for a park tour n review! Hope it’s coming in next video.
Looks like a great time and it’s always great to see Tori back!!! ❤️
Love the "didn't study for school analogy for Disney.. very true!" Also.. that temporary Fridge, aka cooler is amazing! Keep on inspiring you guys! Great work as always. 😀
Very impressive rig! Must admit I’m a bit jealous.
Awesome b-roll of the truck at 8:42.
I'm in the process of selling my home and buying a 5th wheel or trailer to live in full time. Your videos have been an amazing help because I have no clue what I'm doing 🤪
Stacy Mitchell 😂best of luck. There is definitely a learning curve.
Hugs,
Brenda
Such a cool video. We felt like we were famous with the picture at the end. Glad you are enjoying the new rig. It really seems to fit your family.
It's fun to see you two girls having a blast.
I giggled listening to Marc laugh on the ride & cried watching Tori & Tricia together again!! Great video!!
Haha, just watched this one again and love the excitement over the dometic fridge. I have a truma 69 dz and did the same thing!
I'm so glad we dont have to worry about parking a camper that big. Love our 27ft camper after watching this 🤣. Kudos to you guys!
What an awesome family! I hope to continue our past times with my own someday. God bless!
Another great video and it was great to have all your family together.
The turns you described are the way I do it. I only use a 350 but it does ride rougher except when loaded.
These folks are about as clueless as they come. So he probably won't
Jerry Gundrum as long as he keeps it at 60-65 that truck can handle it but yeah you are probably right
Yeah, they've only been doing this about 6 years, so what the hell do they know?
@@richmanwisco you would never convince me of that watching the video
Rich Fraser they just bought this combo rig. What are you talking about 6 years?
Might be a silly question and or I missed something....: what’s the “demo rig” thing all about??
The air pressure in the bed of the truck when pulling a 5th wheel is pretty interesting. I've lost rolled up rugs and even a metal gas can before.
Hi Marc and Trish ! Great Video.. Marc .. One thing... on 90 degree turns.. but swinging wide before you execute the 90 … Watch your tail swing on the Momentum !! You have some length behind the wheels that can take out cars; Trees ; or other objects.
Absolutely love your channel.Excellent team work with you guys.Love the new truck and Toyhauler.
Congrats! This was a couple months ago :)
First time here... beautiful rig and set up.... never in a million years would I buy any camper from any brand... live in a state with dozens of rv manufactures... good luck!
Welcome
Awesome! Beautiful seeing you all together! Can't wait to hear what the strange noise was?
All About RV’s has officially named your new rig “Megalodon Ginger” in his last video.
So glad to see the beautiful Tori back on cam. You can see her mother when she's laughing.
That move is also called wide turn @1:35
Trish, I LOVE "There's a LOT of bread going on here." You are too funny! ♡
great!! we just got back from Disney ! magic kingdoms our favorite. Im a commercial truck driver your doing great job handling that big rig!
It's cooling to the low to mid 40's. Hopefully we can address this week.
Keep Your Daydream I fixed mine last week in stead of putting in a warranty claim. It’s currently 30 in the fridge, 10 in the freezer on setting 5. 78F outside temp.
Love watching you guys as I enjoy my camping vacation in my Grand Design in Grand Marias MN. So cool to see you guys enjoying life.
