Love the videos. This summer wife said enough of waiting we bought a Grand Design and are going camping. We have already booked Dollywood and going to Disney. You guys got her hooked. Next she is rewatching Alaska because she want to go for 6 weeks. You have created a monster. LOL
My Dad always told me life is a participation sport... if you’re not participating then you’re not really alive! Glad to see y’all participating and even more that you’re participating as a family!
“Who are you eating lunch with?” 🤔 Thank you, Trish, for my food for thought for the week! Indeed the people we surround ourselves with make a Huge difference in what we do and the version of ourselves we become. Putting this festival on my bucket list as well. Looks like such a great time. And what a unique experience!
For bringing wellness and fitness to the forefront...thank you. A close friend recently had a stroke and will be partially paralyzed for the rest of her life. I've been a woosie fitness instructor for 24 years now; but I never gave up. Thank you for the message..."go at your own level and never give up. " I love y'all.
Gotta tells this was one of my favorites. I love to watch these kind of bravado contests. They train harder in some cases then runners. That’s incredible endurance and strength they display doing this type of stuff. So I’ve been stuck in the hospital and now home. At the end of September I fell at home and broke my right ankle and had to have surgery. As my doctor said “if you’re gonna do it, do it right and Harry you really did it right”. So I’m stuck inside at home no weight for a few more weeks, he said I won’t be really okay until beginning of the year. We had a wonderful person come and winterize the Trailer and he took it and put it in Storage until Spring in our lot. Wouldn’t even let me pay him or reimburse him for supplies. These are the folks in the comfort RV’ers that we have really come to love and appreciate so much. Our “Ginger” will be freed from behind the Storage gate beginning of April and hopefully on the road middle of the month. Can’t wait , and just have to keep watching. You’re great as always, truly bummed that I was not able to meet you in Iowa. Have fun can’t wait to see what the next Ginger will be.
What a great video. Love the lumberjack competition. I was so inspired by that run that I got up off the couch after watching the video and walked into the kitchen without stopping. Hahahahaha Safe travels guys. Cheers!!!
Hey Marc & Trish! It was a pleasure to meet you and the boys at the competition! Hayward was our favorite destination this summer - great to relive those moments! Hanna has been competing in the EU this fall and meeting more great people from the sport! It's been such an amazing experience! Safe travels and all the best, Sean & Michelle Q
TheSimpleLife100 Great to meet you and the family too. I’m glad the audio worked for our chat. Great event. Hanna (I didn’t get the sub title right) is a rock star!
Great vídeo as always family! I am Basque, (north Spain), and all the sports, most of them, in the vídeo have probably a Basque origin. Do check the traditional basque sports and you will recognise them. During the war in Spain, and later to find a better live, a lot of young Basques went to USA, and that might be why today all this keeps arround as a tradition. Keep living and having fun, and we'll enjoy it o. The videos. A huge hug from the island of Menorca, Spain, the litle paradise I live now. ;) All the best!
One of my top 5 TH-cam channels. You look like you have the time of your life on this RV adventure. You know it's like travel with you when I watch your vids and be there when you do something like the lumberjack festival. I don't if you been to a rodeo with bull riding and horse riding on previous seasons, but man I would like to see that with you guys or a country festival or car show
I am so sad to see this episode end!! I am fairly new to the KYD family and found your channel on accident. I am so glad I did. My husband and I cannot wait for your new episodes to air each week. I'm living vicariously through you! I particularly loved the fitness advice. Surround yourself with like minded folks and meet the fitness road where you are at. This could have been a 1 hour special. :-) Loved it! Make it a great day! Heidi
At the end of every video, I find myself wanting more. More of your lives, more of your positivity, and more of your adventures!!! Thanks for keeping us entertained!
I have used box fan's since before Christ played softball and have found they make a great exhaust fan as well. I find the one window where the fan will take up most of the available space (bath and/or kitchen windows seem to work best) and then set the fan in the window blowing out, opening other windows throughout the house just a bit. The result is air being sucked into the house thru a number of places and then forced out thru the fan opening. Seems to work well until my Wife demands direct air on her, as in the kitchen or tv room at which point your milage may vary. The Festival looks like a great way to spend the weekend and Trish's fashion statement topped it all off. Bravo.
When Mark put on that hat, he looks like a young Robert Redford from Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid. Trish, Scarlett Johansson. Anyway you guys sure have fun. Charlie loves RVING. Until next Sunday, be safe to all
These guys do such a great job on every level . Video production quality , humor, content are just some of their many talents. No wonder why they are so popular.
Can you guys start putting the date back on the videos? I know that they’re behind but I still love to see when you were at these awesome events!! Love you guys!
I agree that it was helpful, but people freak out. This season is 7 months long so we're a bit further behind than normal, but we're also looking forward to spending time with family and letting the channel catch-up a bit :)
Diggin the lumber jack look guys 😂 we've been boondocking for a year and 5 months now. Our secret weapon is a rechargeable dewalt fan that runs off our dewalt drill batteries. GOOD TIP! 👍
Hey Mountain Top Adventures! Just liked your page as well 'looks intriguing '! How long do you get out of the fan on high? We been considering this option!
@@backstagepassbradhenson9851 hey there, thanks allot. With the Dewalt 20v max battery you will get 7 hours of run time at max, I only set it to low (it's still plenty strong) and get 18 hrs. I also use it to sirculate the heat in winter when using my buddy heater to save the batteries from being run down by the furnace.
I have the ryobi battery/electrical portable fan. Think they were the only fans out for a while now everybody makes them. Use it everyday. Runs same amount of time. High and a low speed.
WOW what fun. We will have to add this to our bucket list. Trish? Rocked the lumberjack-ette look all the way through. For some odd reason, as you were pulling out of the field I flashed back to the first rig, the first trio and the flat tire. My, how far y'all have come! Cheers
We always have to be thinking like a snooker player...three moves ahead. The bigger the RV the more thought is needed, in this case to literally not get boxed into a parking lot. Great video guys!
If you're using a bucket when doing the dishes, dump the bucket into your black tank (toilet) when done. More water there is almost always a good thing. When we had our TT, we'd also shower standing in a larger bucket to catch as much of that water as well (then transfer it to the black tank). With our typical dry camping we were mostly limited by gray tank capacity.
@@KeepYourDaydream When you do make your way up here, a trip along the North shore is a must. Take the scenic route from Duluth to two harbors and stop by Russ Kendall's fish shop for the best sugar cured trout you will ever find!
Oh yes, lumberjack competitions are always fun. Cheap box fans are worth every penny. I use to use one with a screen on it to capture bugs. They also work well with 5 filters the size of the fan taped together like an open top box. Not for RV, but in a dusty shop environment. I’m ready to have a black stone grill. I love bbq but some items are just better on a grill. I’m saving this to throw it up on the big screen so my wife can watch it later. Practice hooking up at angles, sooner or later it comes into play and you’ll have a better idea of what works and what doesn’t.
Loved your video. We have been attending our local Lumberjack competition in Westwood CA. So much fun to watch these lumberjacks at work. We have lived in this atmosphere for a long time. Hubby grew up falling trees and his father worked in the woods. Nice that Trish was able to try out the log rolling. Would love to try that one day.
I did my first 5K for breast cancer awareness in 40 mins and the feeling I did it will last until next year! You are right it is energizing to just get out there. Your family is awesome!
Love the comments you made about getting active. So true. I'm in law enforcement and being physically active is so important for the mental wellness as well. Great video. Cheers.
this is why I love this channel so much. I learn something new every time. I had no clue about lumber jack competitions, not a single clue! that is so cool to see. Thanks again for sharing all of your experiences AND wisdom.
I just wanted you two to know, that your awesome and your videos really inspire our family. My wife is an RN and we are thinking about going full time.
A box fan is also good for sitting outside under an awning as it will keep mosquitoes away! We carry one in our fifth wheel and use it mostly outside not for that very reason!
Fun! It was cool getting to see what attending a Lumberjack event would be like... especially with fantastic video footage of the championship events, and Tricia learning log rolling with a champion...great episode!

I've been watching your family and adventurers since the beginning. If you ever decide to come back to Canada and are going through Calgary you should stop at Callaway Park, or three hours north to Edmonton to the West Edmonton Mall. You can park your fifthwheel and truck on the north side of the mall in a rv parking lot and cross the street and check out the mall. It has a Waterpark mini golf, theater, an amusement park, check it out on line. Then you can take the scenic route back through the mountains to radium and jasper it's an incredible drive. Just food for thought.
We have a small 19 ft TT and we have a small oscillating fan called a “lil blizzard” and it fits on the shelf behind our dinette or on the counter in the kitchen both right by windows.. yes! It makes a big difference. We bought it at Bed, bath and beyond for about $15 I think.
Hey trish we went dry camping when we went to the Grand Canyon. That was so awesome I loved it. Sorry I haven't been on here in awhile. We have been living in Yellowstone since july. I worked there at the old faithful visitors Center. It was so amazing and we lived there in the employee Campground for 4 months. Now we're back in Internet world again lol. Were in Nashville now and headed to Florida for Christmas. 😁💓

ESPN used to do Great Outdoor Games coverage in prime time, and they always covered the Lumberjack festival. I loved watching it, it's super exciting even just watching on TV. I think 2006 was their last year, and that's too bad.
My wife and 3 kids always look forward to your weekly videos. Problem is we as a family binged watched one afternoon soo now we have to wait like everyone else to see new episodes
Cool videos, watched the Mackanaw Island video, Trish turns on the charm when the camera comes on, you guys are great, The whole package, the boys, dog, daughter in college, switching rigs, Tear drop not sure about that, Your numbers tell the truth, cool videos to watch, good learning videos, waiting on the reality TV to pick you guys up
Nice rig! Hot Tip: I'm sure the Toy Hauler has an Onan genny...I learned the hard way they are very particular about maintenance especially the carburetor. I use fuel stabilizer and run it at least a couple hours a month with a load on it and runs great!
Shelley Poole box fans are great we run 2 while outside and our dog sits in front of one which keeps the gnats off of her face and also keeps them off your legs.

ESPN used to do Great Outdoor Games coverage in prime time, and they always covered the Lumberjack festival. I loved watching it, it's super exciting even just watching on TV. I think 2006 was their last year, and that's too bad.
It's been 40 years ago when I went to my first log rolling event In Hayward. They also have great ATV trails in the north woods.
My wife and 3 kids always look forward to your weekly videos. Problem is we as a family binged watched one afternoon soo now we have to wait like everyone else to see new episodes
Cool videos, watched the Mackanaw Island video, Trish turns on the charm when the camera comes on, you guys are great, The whole package, the boys, dog, daughter in college, switching rigs, Tear drop not sure about that, Your numbers tell the truth, cool videos to watch, good learning videos, waiting on the reality TV to pick you guys up
Great video! We love Alaska, but there is so much we miss about the midwest. Trish, great job on the log!
That time lapse at 3:58 was 🔥🔥👍🏻
I got lucky with that one!
Love your channel... so much fun to watch ...gives us so many ideas.. keep it up.. Thanks !
why am I just now seeing this?!? Oh how I wish more people would attend these competitions!
Good job Trish!! Good job to you guys too!!
That was a fun episode!!! Oh by the way your new nutrition plan looks good on both of you
Nice rig! Hot Tip: I'm sure the Toy Hauler has an Onan genny...I learned the hard way they are very particular about maintenance especially the carburetor. I use fuel stabilizer and run it at least a couple hours a month with a load on it and runs great!
What a unique, fun weekend!
Amazing video and very well done. Like being there. Thanks so much! Safe travels and keep em' comin'.......
Love watching the lumberjack championships.
Loved this one! What a great sneak peek into such a fun event and great family run!
For a minute I thought you were back in Canada as this is what we do! 🇨🇦
Shelley Poole box fans are great we run 2 while outside and our dog sits in front of one which keeps the gnats off of her face and also keeps them off your legs.
Love you guys!! what an awesome video this week!!
I literally just finished reading a book that took place in a lumbar camp in Michigan back in late 1800s. So your post was so fun to watch! 😁
Love your channel always watching near 8:00 pm. Sunday for next video, keep it up, got wifey watching it now too. Looks like a blast
Love so much about this episode! Mostly that you are all having a good time.
