About Nekros and desecrating body parts, there is one thing you can use to guarantee that you will slash the enemy in half. Ripkas. If you use Amalgam Ripkas True Steel mod you have 100% chance to cut enemies in half when they die. The best part is that you DONT need to kill them with Ripkas in particular. You just need to equip them with the mod and it will work with whatever weapon you have, as long as you have Ripkas in your loadout.
Its still not really 100%. Sometimes other kill animations still sneak trough and enemy doesnt get dismembered, but it still helps a lot and gives more freedom with guns.
It's best to eq ripkas on warframe the nekros is farming with. Warframe abilities with Ripkas also cut in half so u can have a khora or hydroid cutting enemies for Nekros while farming.
Another neat use for Ivara’s pickpocketing is for doing the Riven challenge for completing a Survival mission without killing anything since you can steal a few extra life support charges while stealthing. EDIT: Originally said it was a Nightwave challenge, but it's actually a potential Riven challenge.
I just did that few hours ago with two secondary riven mod challanges, combined with Carrier Sentinel with Looter mod to break the crates and Vacuum the loot around you without killing enemies, it becomes a piece of cake challenge.
Awesome vid! Some things i might add. 1. 4:30 the tentacles are actively move to grab enemies since the rework! 2. You cant petrify ragdolled enemies, soo Ore Gaze isnt too useful on Khora/Hydroid.
Dont forget to turn Gore On for multiple bodies from slash Ivara can steal vomvalist cores for the lures, making her fill them super quick, as if your steal is fast enough, you can steal from physical and phantom form before they are absorbed by the lures.

From what I understand, Chesa Kubrow's Retrieve ability is effectively Desecrate for your companion. The cog in *all* of these camps is another source of the mentioned Monkey Luck effect, Smeeta Kavat's Charm ........ Good Smeeta RNG can get so outrageous that many folk will have a hard time justifying any substitution, even after the recent companion buffs. I had been experimenting with using a Retrieve Chesa with other looting builds for a little while but in the end I can't pry myself away from the Smeeta Doubler (potentially quadrupler !!) roulette.
If the enemies in strangle dome die to outright to any damage (including slash, even if the enemy is dismembered) nekros only gets one corpse to work with. The emeny needs to die to the damage over time effect of slash for nekros to desecrate twice
@vendetta9399 Nekros can only get the dismembered corpse the died in strangle dome to give another drop (the one from the broken body) if the corpse is dismembered by a slash damage over time proc, not if killed just by the initial slash damage upfront
I think the only time I've farmed w/ Atlas & Ivara was when Shedu came out. Also shutout to the OG days when I didn't have enough credits for index so I'd sit there in dark sector survivals using Chroma's effigy to farm them.
I never thought of making our spooky boy turn stuff into stone. That's my next build, he'll always be my favourite farmer. Use the MIGHTY SEER for 200% extra drop chance

Equilibrium was recently changed so it consumed health orbs even when you're at maximum health. Same goes for energy orbs and energy. With that in mind Despoil is actually useless mod as long as you don't completely dry out your energy pool. This is easy to avoid with all the energy management options we have today. One hindrance is that Nekros has fairly low energy pool but one or two blue archon shards can fix that.
Glad to know that you're enjoying yourself a lot more when it comes to these videos, Hellmanz Or at least ya seem to be, anyway Because I remember when you made that video, "We need to talk," a little while back, and what you were talking about in there So I'm glad that you seem to be feeling a lot better than you were at that time. Whenever I needed to farm anything, I used Nekros with petrify, using Proboscis Cernos to group enemies. I prefer Nekros over the others because the augment feels essential to his kit, the others feel more like a flex slot, that's why a never used the Khora or Hydroid for farming
Notable mention: Hydroid is 100% better than any other loot frame for farming oxium because the drones are guaranteed to drop oxium so the tentacles guarantee they drop more (:
@@lyberatis yeah well u also need to kill said drones or have the tentcles kill em which low lvls ez but sp where u most likely want to be farming on they dont khora jsut does it more consistantly
As a Nekros fan, it feels like every other Khora player gets mad at me for wanting to actually play the game rather than afking in a corner for 30 minutes while they use whipclaw to kill exclusively enemies caught by their dome. Doubly so if I feel like using anything other than a slash melee. This isn't even steel path btw. Meanwhile our other squad members were low MRs playing random frames and having no consideration for their farming method either, but they only seem to care about the slightly off meta Nekros. And then they also complain when I leave after 10 minutes of their complaining.
5:58 i used this method for unlocking a riven. i had to do a survival missions without unaliving anything. so this gave me a supply of life support charges
I heard that Ore Gaze affects the petrifying trail from Path of Statues. Is this true? Cuz if it is, that means you can run the Atlas augment that makes Landslide free at high rubble and not worry about efficiency.
Nekros is literally the epitome of idle gaming: just slap-n-forget. Yes, he doesn't loot that much and is very squishy, but if you just want to play games and test out weapons while passively farming, he's the way to go. Less stressful and casual-friendly. Then, if you really want to go ham on farming, that's the only time you either choose tentacles or bdsm, whichever your mood of kink is.
He's far from squishy with a Despoil + Equilibrium + Health Conversion setup. Granted that's a major investment and not necessary, but if you really want to turn your brain off, making Nekros basically immortal is quite helpful 😂
After building a stat stick for Khora so that I could use her for farming, I had wondered that exact question. Perfect timing. My go to has always been Nekros, always felt like I got more drops and more consistent. I can also just turn off my brain and melee away.
All the youtubers are trying to misinform us, the best farming ability is obviously nezha's firewalker. As, if I am to farm an item for hour I might as well not be to only one suffering terribly.
I use different warframes depending on the situation. BTW, DE made it so you can only get one instance of additional loot from a dead body (well except the is the whole Nekros and multiple body parts thing) So their abilities don’t stack loot. The only one that does still takes advantage this is Ivara because she’s not looting a dead body just picking pockets of the living.

Nekros all the way for me when it comes to farming. Its easier for me to work with and I can focus on just killing or sticking with the squad. No placement problems . No wait until it touches something. Just click, shoot, and loot.
There are a couple more farm abilities, pet mods. Smeeta Kavats have a chance to bless drops picked up to be doubled for a long duration and Chesa Kubrows can periodically loot enemies similar to Nekros desecrate. They are more like a side to a main course, they make the farm better but they aren't needed to just regularly farm.

1 more very late note for Nekros. Amalgam Ripkas. If you didn't know, there is an amalgam mod for the Ripkas that drops from the Ropalolyst (wisp farm) which adds a 100% "Gore chance" to YOUR ENTIRE LOADOUT. That "Gore chance" is the chance for a corpse to be cut apart on death. If you are usually the dps/nuker of a farming squad, do your group(s) a favor and equip the Ripkas with this mod. It will sky rocket your drops given you use an ability that "targets torsos". (Good examples include Hydroid's tentacle swarm, Khora's strangle dome, Mag's Pull, and even Volt's Discharge.)
Ivara is great for toroid farm. I got all of Baruuk's blueprints from the circuit, then pickpocketed a few of each toroid in less than an hour, and tadaa, I won't have to fluff about with Vox Solaris.
