@@TheHopelessGeekbro i need c pin for plug. Can i use a adpter for 3.5 mm jack to c pin converter if i use it then sound quality will affect it
Yes, you can use one. As long as it's a good quality adaptor, the sound quality should be the same.
Just tell me the best bass IEM under 3k
I recently purchased this
You can accurately hear the BG noise
Good for gaming if you want to hear a much further footsteps of enemies
Yes, IEMs have that advantage of a clear sound stage
MAGIC happens when you only keep the 4th switch up! ✨️
DAC and a flagship phone are a must to get the best out of it! 😊
I have a good phone but no external DAC. Maybe that should be my next purchase 😄
after trying IEM there is no going back to normal earphones
True, haha 😄
tangzu waner S.G studio edition what about this? Your thoughts please!! Video was just crisp and straight to the point:)
I have it with me right now. It's so good! I would say go for the Waner S.G overall. But I didn't like the stock cable that came in the box. The Castor has better cables, but the Waner is better overall. Pleasant to listen to.
Hey there! Do you happen to know what connection type the cable uses? I know it's 0.75 but is it qdc or 2 pin or what?
It's a QDC 2 pin cable. Like this amzn.to/4d1yxHa
Have you tried kz edx pro? Try to review that also 😊
Not yet. I've heard they're good, though ✨
Buy it guys
The "hardware eq" is super fun to use
It's an interesting implementation. I hadn't seen it before 🙂
Did u use it with a dac?..and if so how much of a difference did it make
@@bhanudobwal4578 not really different between the 3.5mm jack and the DAC (mine is cx31993)
@@bhanudobwal4578 however if u have money i'll suggest the KZ am01 dac (abt 7$ in my country)
@@bhanudobwal4578 i have problem with my current dac bcz seem like it doesn't have enough power for KZ castor (bass sounds not as strong as when i plug it in my laptop/pc). I guess bcz my dac doesn't have amplifier chip 🤷
Any good iems in and around 1.5k? Preferably with a mic and good for casual gaming too
The KZ EDX is quite decent. amzn.to/3xzlhKI
Increase your budget to 1800-2100. A lot of good options in this range
Yes, that's the budget sweet spot 👍🏽
i would say it depends upon your game
What u can recommend? In that budget@@cosmo57
i regularly listen to songs with deatils.. like The Weeknd music..i want great details with a deep bass..so can u prefer me a good iem?.. i have a zsn pro x rn.. but it has no bass at all.. will the castor normal version be better than zsn pro x?..can anyone recommend me a good iem or anything pls..
Usually IEMs don't have the overwhelming bass as regular earphones. They're made for an equalised representation of all frequencies. You could try something like the Crinacle Zero or Tangzu Waner for elevated bass.
What's your thought when compare to QKZxHBB soothing bass without any loss in mids and highs?
Ah, I haven't tested that one. Does it have good bass without affecting other frequencies? Nice! Maybe I should test it.
I do find it weird that QKZ ZXN, which is half the price of KZ Castor has more louder sound and more punchy bass at least for my hearing.
I'm trying one of QKZ IEMs next. Particularly the Hi6T for its super affordable price. I wonder how it performs
They have the very same kind of sound signature like other chi fi iems V SHAPE
Yes, these are somewhat U shaped, based on the audio response curve.
Are they good for story based games /movies . Looking for my ps5 controller
Yes, these are good for human voice and top end sounds, as in games.
Does it have mic? Don't need high quality mics, just need something I can also use for calls
There's a version with an inline mic available.
Mic is better than most of the regular tws, earphones
Yes, wired earphone almost always have a better microphone quality
It's not in my budget 😢😅
That's alright 🙂. You can consider another IEM called the QKZ Hi6T. It's very affordable, under ₹500.
Which one is the way to go..... Tangzu Wan'er or Kz Castor improved bass or Moondrop chu 2 or Kz Zex or 7hz salnotes 2.... I am a bass head but don't want to lack clarity..I like to listen to songs like Hills by Weeknd.....
If you have any other suggestions..I would love to listen to them.
I'd say the Waner classic takes a win here overall. The castor has better top-end, but Waner has better saturation overall. Something to note - the Waner studio edition has lesser bass than classic.
@@TheHopelessGeek Thanks mate
@@TheHopelessGeek What about the one collaboration with headphone zone?
That should be similar, although I haven't tested it myself.
@@TheHopelessGeek aren't Waner flat? I have heard something like that
I don’t like a super deep fit in the ear cana due to comfortl. I don’t mind it sticking out but would it still be fairly stable?
It will. But the ear seal may not be good and sub bass performance will reduce.
Hey Mate ! I'm pretty much confused between kz castor and tangzu waner... So can you pls recommend one among these ( i listen to all kinds of music but preferably hip-hop , Rock and Rnb mostly )
I'm getting the Waner studio edition soon. I'll do a comparison. But for now, even if you had the Castor, you wouldn't be disappointed for those music genres.
@@TheHopelessGeek curious for your Waner studio edition video:)
I got it. Will post that video in a few days 🙂👍🏽
Kz castor vs blon bl 03 which one should I buy?
I'm kinda bass lover ( the thumping effect with wide sound stage experience)
Hm.. the castor has good bass and better top end, too. It would be better than the BL03
@@TheHopelessGeek thank you brother 👌
No problem 🙂
Hi bro nice video Can you help me which ones should I buy for strong bass and how can I increase the bass with EQ?
There's one from Truthear called the Truthear x Crinacle Zero. It has good bass response. conceptkart.com/aznh5q
You can then use an equaliser and raise the left side of the curve for bass and sub-bass.
Why some persons getting black color buds and u got white color?
There are two variants.
Hi bro... I really need a comparison of KZ Castor with 7Hz Zero 2 and Tangzu Wenner... Please make a review... It's a humble request to you
Okay, sure. I haven't yet tested the Tangzu one. I'll do that and compare
What's the one best IEM that you could suggest under 2K ??
There are many good options now. Aside from this Castor, there's the Salnotes Zero, and sometimes the Blon BL03 is available. I currently still use the BL03 most of the time due to its comfort.
@@TheHopelessGeek BL03 vs qkz×hbb which one is best?
I'm not too sure about that QKZ one. I'll wager it won't have as much of a warm low end as BL03, but I'm not certain.
kz has QC issue. I own kz zvx one side stopped working after 1 year .
Oh, I see. Could you not avail any replacements?
@@TheHopelessGeek no . happened after 1 year i think 13 months
Do they not offer any repairs at all?
Same here with kz edx and two of them at that.from conceptkart site they even don't replace it.
@@TheHopelessGeek i dont think headphone zone or conceptkart would offer any repair they just import iem and sell them . i ordered moon drop chu2 if same thing happens again i will not buy iem again . i saw this some review in headphone zone one side stopped after some time .
Hey dude, I am in doubt as to how to connect those wires as they are not specified in any order. I have the mic on the wires
Oh, that's easy. First look at the left (L) and right (R) indications. Then, match the hook shape to the ear. The ending should be in the front and the remaining cable should run behind your ear. That's the right orientation.
Kz castor improved bass vs qkz×hbb which one is best for gaming?
I haven't tried the QKZ HBB, but both should work well for gaming. Most IEMs do.
I have the same. Can you tell me about the difference the dac/dongle make in these iems? I thought about buying those 800-1000 but didn't as iems itself is 1700(seemed like a waste of money)
Those dongles often have a slightly better quality DACs for better audio output. For high end flagship phones, it's about the same. But it can help low end devices.
Here's a decent one I use. amzn.to/3LosqRg
@@TheHopelessGeek Alright. thanks bud.
🙂👍🏽no problem
Thanks brother
No problem 🙂
Can you compare these against the Tangzu wan'er and truthear Gate !?
I have the Waner with me right now. They're better. Not sure about the Truthear gate yet.
This or the tangzu waner for someone who listens mostly to hip hop and rnb ,?
These don't have the best bass response I've seen. I'm happy with their clarity and mid range, but for hip hop, maybe the Tangzu one you mentioned would be better.
Bro which one did you bought? I'm also confused between the two.
@@qbing. Get the castor if you listen to music with bass if you don't get the tangzu waner
@@Gadgetibles I don't really know if I like more bass. I'm a beginner and I listen to hip-hop and rnb like you. I never tried iems before I just want to experience a detailed sound signature.
@@qbing. Castor bass will still be ur best bet if you on a budget and can only get one becos u can use the switch to tune it down if the bass is much ...but if you can afford 2 you can get the waner or 7hz zero 2 so you can decide your kind of sound signature
Castor bass boosted edition vs Salnotes 7hz zero 2 which one would you suggest for gaming and song listening? And for long run too and good quality too
I would prefer the Castor. The zero 2 has much better mid range, but the remaining features are a bit of a let down. They're both good overall, but I personally would pick the Castor
@@TheHopelessGeek thanks alot brother sorry to disturb you but one last question i want to ask you cuz im curious like can i tune and improve gaming performance of castor? Like im a newbie and i don’t know much details but as you mentioned we can boost a specific part like mids, lows or highs so can i adjust and boost something to improve gaming performance? Like for footsteps and directions of gunfire?
Hm.. maybe you can use an additional EQ software with a preamp, like Poweramp or Wavelet
@@TheHopelessGeek thanks bro finally i can book my castor now 🕺
😀👍🏽I hope you'll enjoy it!
Better than the blon bl03?
Yes, a bit better. This has more clarity in mid range and top end
Bro kya is earphones ke sath market me milne wala type c connector use kr sakte hai kya. Acchi quality milegi kya?
Yes, you can use a USB dongle with this. It'll be fine 👍🏽
I have 0 knowledge of iem and I have Samsung buds 2 pro with s23 and apple music, do they sound any batter then this cambo, and yes if there are iem which sound batter then this combo then which iem is batter under 2k my requirements are good base and Cristal clear instruments separation
An IEM combined with Apple music lossless will be a good experience, noticeably better clarity than what you're probably used to. Aside from KZ Castor, the Tangzu Waner is a good choice. Alternatively, you can consider the Moondrop CHU 2 DSP. conceptkart.com/lklmkn
@@TheHopelessGeek which one of there will have good base and clear sound separation and clear voice
So far, I'm liking the Waner. I'll try the Moondrop soon, but the Waner classic is still a good choice.
Bro can u suggest good quality iem at 1000rs
Try the KZ EDX Pro.
Does it make a huge difference with dac? As a general listener with kz Casto bass version
These are quite easy to drive. They don't necessarily need a separate DAC amp setup, but they will surely give higher quality with them.
Thanks 👍
No problem 🙂
How can you call the budget earphones
₹1450 is low budget for good quality IEMs
@@TheHopelessGeek actually in Amazon it listed for more than 6
5000
Very budget friendly 🙂👍🏻
Yup!
What you recommend for gaming kz castor bass or kz harman
Most IEMs do well in gaming. You could go with either one.
What switches do you recommend for gaming, UUDD?
Maybe try D-U-U-D to get more upper mid range and less sub bass and treble, which may not be as important.
For me is D-D-U-D for gaming (i play valorant) and U-U-U-D for music
I have been using it for several months.
Dude you are there when im confused, how did u know i was searching for this review 😮
And i was really curious about the hardware tuning i havent used any iem and wanna buy em and Castor is on a sale also there's a bunch in sale and im confused kz castor/kz edx 1dd/kz edx pro/kz edx pro x/ kz lafitear lm4 /kz zsn i need a allrounder for gaming music and movies others suggested saltanos zero but its costly,so is castor an all-rounder?
I'm positive that this is better than the ZSN and based EDX series. Not sure about the pro versions though. But I don't think you'll be disappointed with this one. It's available for ₹1450 on concept kart. conceptkart.com/4rwz6j
@@TheHopelessGeek also merga is available idk about it
Oh, hadn't heard of that one yet. I'll look for it.
@@TheHopelessGeek thanks for the website now I'm more confused 🙂🙂 there's a lot of iem under 1000 rs
Yeah, there are many. The EDX is a good choice, but maybe there are newer ones now.
Bro i need a iem which sounds actually good quality..even if the bass isn't good i could adjust with a good clarity iem...soundstge,non fatigu.....
Im confused
Blon 03
7hz zero 2
Castor bass
HeadfonX tangzu wanersg
Which one is the good sounding
I've tried the first three. I'm getting the Waner in a few days to test. Between the three, I prefer the sound from the KZ castor but the comfort of the BL03. The mid range is excellent on the zero 2, so it's great for gaming and some music genres. Overall, I'd go for the Castor.
Again, not sure about the Waner yet.
@@TheHopelessGeek As you got your waner what would be the answer now ? Bl03 or Castor 0r QkzxHbb ?
Between the Blon and the Waner, Waner has better sound. I haven't tried the QKZ HBB, but I don't think the Waner would be a disappointing choice.
@@TheHopelessGeek What about warner SG vs Warner SG studio edition which arrived new this month!?
Bro pls need ur suggestion.
. Kz zsn pro 2 and kz castor
/ moondrop chu 2
/ 7 hz salnotes zero /
fiio jd1.. Which is best bro.. For treble and concert like soundstaging like Sennheiser.. Please
Hm.. the Salnotes Zero is a good option due to its upper mid range performance. You could also consider the CHU2 for an overall balanced option.
@@TheHopelessGeek bro i need high volume level, can i get it in salnotes zero / zero 2 .. Or moondrop chu 2 ?
Salnotes would be easier to drive without any DAC, making it better for higher volume listening.
@@TheHopelessGeek which is better between zero and zero 2 bro? Thank you for ur deep analysis
They're identical. The zero 2 may have slightly better mid range. But I think the zero comes with a type c connector, making it easier to use with a phone without a dongle
what about final vr500 for gaming ?
I haven't tested it myself, but most IEMs do well in gaming
@@TheHopelessGeek ok
Any recommendation for 3.5 mm jack to type C

Review Fiio JD1
Okay, I'll see what I can do.
Tuning can be done with software also , it's just a marketing gimic , everyone is promoting it they are just burning money on marketing to sell them more and more.
Yes, of course it can be achieved with software. I thought this to be interesting mainly because it doesn't require a software across multiple devices. The effects on the audio output, based on my experience, are not gimmicky. Not revolutionary, but certainly not useless, especially for the price.
It's okay to have opinions, but the objective fact here is, KZ and I have no affiliation. I got these from an independent source along with all my other IEMs.
@@TheHopelessGeek Thanks for the clarification bro , hope you make a comparison video (low to high price ) and rate them accordingly. I recently discovered your Channel and you are doing good 🔥
🙂👍🏽thanks! What type of comparison would you like to see? Any specific products?
@@TheHopelessGeek Not some specific product but It should be like a flagship killer product which is lower in price to best available not super pricey like worth pricey IEMs.
Sure, I will do that 👍🏽
How’s the mic?
It's good. Most wired earphones have good mics.
good for gaming
Yes, they can work for that
Definetly need some improvement😊
Have you tried these? 🙂 Where would you suggest improvements? I want the comfort to be better 😅
Same to you , also the switches seems slightly gimick 😂😂
