You are both really amazing! We love gelato but I don't think we could eat this much gelato in one day, so we are very impressed that you made it through twelve, or more for Ann!!
When I was in Italy in May/June this year my goal was a gelato a day.... And then I found you two! I stumbled on your episode and boy am I glad I found you! A gelato AN HOUR! My heroes!!!
Tuscany is my second favourite place in Italy (I am Sicilian, that comes first naturally - have you guys been?). I loved the gelato at the gelateria della passera. I like that you voted for the experience as a whole and not just the gelato on itself. Thank you and buona giornata 😊
Living here, and close to Vivoli, it is my fave gelateria. If I'm altr'arno, then my two other faves are Sorbettiera and Passera. I visit Vivoli just about every other day, mostly for their homemade pastries and sandwiches. Congrats for surviving your tour.
I'm so glad to have stumbled upon this video, and your channel. I already have a lot of these on my list, but I was happy to find a few more, and a bonus suggestion for lunch at Trattoria Sergio Gozzi. It's interesting that GROM didn’t register anywhere your lists because it seems to be some folks' favorite gelateria. Your honesty (and stomachaches, I'm sure) is very much appreciated!
Stai attento a queste sfide! (Si scherza eh). Siete simpaticissimi.
Holy diabetic coma, Ed and Ann!😂 Cant wait to see your upcoming video "pasta every hour for 24 hours" (only kidding)😂 Seriously, thanks for sharing your video. We've been to Florence a few times and didn't realize that there were that many gelattorias(?).... Look forward to your next video! Take care John (NH - 🇺🇸)
Good question that I can’t answer. I’d guess almost all of them. One way to check would be to download our list (in the description below the video) and search online. January is a great month for Florence. We did it this year.
i am so sorry you missed the gelateria de' medici iin the centro. the next time you are here, just walk to piazza beccaria, NOT all the way to statuto !! (but if you do want to go to statuto, take the tram !!)
Great couple. Impossible not to love you. If it melts that fast it's not a good sign even if its so hot right now in Florence. Artigianal ones last much longer than that because the have much less sugar parts on them. Great italian speaking by the way, both of you but the guy is a step ahead, sorry ma'am 😅
As you probably have already found out, food chains are often not the best choice in Italy.. and you confirmed this since Grom is not mentioned in any of your 'best of' lists :) Also as you can see, friendlyness is not a thing in touristic areas.. they are a bit stressed..
come caxxo pronunci pistacchio? Voi inglesi avete problemi con la lingua? pistacchio non è pistascio ma pistakkio. No scio ma kio. Non è difficile: ascolta gli altri e riproduci lo stesso suono. PISTAKKIO

I thought I would hate gelato after that day but I still love it as much as ever!
You are the sweetest couple!😊
Thanks! That's a nice compliment.
When I was in Italy in May/June this year my goal was a gelato a day.... And then I found you two! I stumbled on your episode and boy am I glad I found you! A gelato AN HOUR! My heroes!!!
Thanks! It was mostly fun. A lot of walking and too much sugar.
It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it!!!!!!!!! 😄😋😋😋😋Che meraviglia, il gelato...
Thanks. We thought we’d do it so others didn’t have to. 😎
That was really fun to watch! Great video!

Thanks you...we loved Gelateria della Passera...the owner is so friendly and the flavors are nice!

Thanks! It was a lot of gelato to eat in one day. But I’m glad it was gelato and not tripa!

Thanks! All the places were from top lists. GROM was good, just not our favorite.

Haha- we might just have to do a pasta only one...or maybe tripe only!
You are a very sweet couple and did a fantastic job on the podcast!!!
Thanks! We appreciate it.
Hi. Which of these places might stay open in January please??? Will be there just after the new year and we want to only try authentic gelato.
Good question that I can’t answer. I’d guess almost all of them. One way to check would be to download our list (in the description below the video) and search online.
January is a great month for Florence. We did it this year.
Vivoli and Sorbettiera are open all year. Can't say for Passera, they may close for several months. I don't go to any others.
the lady has the good technic eating the icecream
She has had a LOT of practice with pistachio gelato!
That's the technic we were taught as kids.:)
Agree.
i am so sorry you missed the gelateria de' medici iin the centro. the next time you are here, just walk to piazza beccaria, NOT all the way to statuto !! (but if you do want to go to statuto, take the tram !!)
We will check it out next time. Thanks!

Thanks! We appreciate it. Interesting about the sugar. We didn't know that.
They both still have some word accent problems, but they speak surprisingly well. They should learn a 'tighter' italian pronunciation.
@cjay2 Thanks! And I couldn’t agree more about the pronunciation. It’s very difficult to get it right. More practice, I guess.
When it's very hot, fruit gelato is the best.
It's "lighter" and more refreshing.

Agree on both points. Grom was pretty low on our list.
Fortunately, we live n Marche which gets few tourists and people are very friendly.
Where can I find the pdf of Gelaterias?
Hi. The link to it is in the description below the video.
sorbetto and gelato are different things
Agree
I hope you are having a solid stomach 😂
My stomach rebelled but now I am ready for more gelato!
@@OurBigItalianAdventure just by watching, my stomach got upset too. I am way away from any future ice cream
👍
..and then.."cacarella"!!!of course!😂😂
Thank goodness we avoided that!

Capisco... quando parliamo inglese diciamo "pistashio"
Stai sereno.. e mangiati un gelato al pistascio.
@@OurBigItalianAdventure Tranquilli, in ogni paese vi è un "genio" di troppo che ha una tastiera. Siete bravissimi e bellissimi.
Una bella risposta.
Grazie.
