Small Fan Not Working

Mongo Good Buddy got small fan that not working.
Plug in, switch the different fan speeds and NOTHING.
Fan no spin
That no good
Polar wind - model TF-809A
Look like it made April 2015 - That pretty good life for a fan eh.
Mongo recommend check basics.
If the plug has a fuse make sure it not blown - resistance check
Check the resistance of each wire from the plug to the fan - resistance
Check the switch, all the speeds - resistance
Check the motor windings - resistance.
This fan getting some weird resistance measurements on the motor windings. When measure the same circuit but move switch position the resistance changes. This sign that the motor windings are BAD. check deeper and the winding covers are crumbling. This another sign that the motor is failed.
This fan not worth fixing so Mongo save some parts and scrap it.
