These old BTS songs had really strong emotions to them. They made me feel really emotional and passionate at the same time. They made relaxed and and boosted my energy at the same time. Idk how to explain but these songs hit different
the entirety of the hyyh era was pure gold, specifically autumn leaves. to this day it's one of my favorite songs of all time. it just holds so much emotional weight and the rappers do such an amazing job of delivering that. the vocalists really tie this song together while the genius production makes it one of bts' best in my opinion.

House of Cards is literally BTS' best track, change my mind 1. How the fricc did I get so many likes 2. Yeah, not all of y'all have to agree or anything, it's subjective and personally I believe it is their best track because of the instrumentation (I play cello so I'm always happy to hear a REAL string orchestra) and also because of the lyrics, I think it's just a fantastic song sonically and I'm not saying their other songs are bad either. My top faves are house of cards, lie, rain, all the cyphers (especially the 4th), autumn leaves, run, dimple, and tons more. Dead Leaves is still my favorite song from BTS, it's just so good and every time it makes me want to lay in bed and pay attention to all the details, all the sounds and their voices. I remember when this album came out(my first comeback also) I was so mesmerized with their different voice facets(idk how to call it or if it makes sence jsajs), how different one song was to another and every style so unique. I want to go back to those days and feel all again like the first time, I still feel the same way now tho, but with this song and album in particularly I had such an experience.

But listening to what professional musicians get from the songs, both musically and artistically adds a lot of new horizons to these songs. I have wanted for you to react to these songs for so long and I’m so happy it’s finally here! I love how everyone had so many different observations to make about each of the songs, because they ended up bringing up a lot of things that had never occurred to me, even after however many listens since the songs came out. I particularly love the observation about the soundscape of dead leaves and how it creates the feeling of leaves blowing in autumn winds, I’m going to have to relisten to the song with that in mind.
