I actually think this guy is better than 99% of the laptop review channels out there. He actually shows the games played in real time with FPS and other counters.
Every laptop user should know this. 1. Just “raise the bottom” let more air into the machine and you will found cpu&gpu each them reduce 10~15°C or in high usage will have more efficacy 2. You shouldn’t be use “laptop cooler” , cuz that effectiveness actually just like you put two bottle caps under laptop to raise it. But the cooler still use your limited power and it will let cpu&gpu become more hungry. Unless it has an “independent power supply”. There also very many ways let your experience better , like “gamer most of the time should limit cpu’s PL1&PL2 and offset voltage” “discrete graphics card overclock”. “Replace the thermal paste and clean the fan dust”. I used to be such a fan of the previous G14s, but was disappointed by the performance of the max q nvidia GPU, which makes sense, given the smaller size. But this generation of G14 has a higher TDP gpu, so I might be interested to get this G14 in the future. If the next generation of G14 performs even better, I no doubt would replace my current gaming laptop for this
I have the 2020 version I feel kinda sad that I didn't wait lucky their two colour options, however I might just wait until 2023 version hopefully they be a 12 GB version

AMD is doing pretty great but I think that they still have a long way to go on their GPUs, they seem to have weird stuttering issues in some titles and randomly perform significantly worse than their Nividia counter parts in certain games, ig the main issue here is optimisation.
That's true bro, but I would say that will take a long long time, n not exactly because of a lack of tech, but for the global market, that is dominated by nvidia; lot of gaming companies might have deals with nvidia in order to optimize their games to nvidia's hardware rather than amd's

The g14 is a great laptop and the 2022 version is incredible along with the 2021 version but I'm happy with my g15 performs great and love it little jealous I don't have the ani matrix though ngl

Considered getting the keyboard after seeing it on Linus Tech Tips as my old one's stabilizers for the space bar are starting to fail, but it lacks the side glow RGB my old one had which always using my computer in the dark, I kinda need to see my desk. Also not a big fan of the monochrome display when my old one had a laser etched acrylic sheet with RGB. Look a lot better with my setup than white. Plus white lights look terrible in a dark room.
as beautiful the laptop is, i was expecting more performance...if this is the base model than its great, but if this is the maxxed out model, then it's not a top doug anymore in this space....but a beautiful product nevertheless...asus just improve you customer service....also asus blew the prices out of proportion this time...unacceptable...
This is the maxed out one . I just bought the starting one , it’s an amazing laptop but it gets too hot and the gpu performance leaves much to be desired

Cpu temperature would be very interesting on laptops. Thats the hardware affected the most by thermals.

I have g15 and it performs much better than g14. I believe it’s due to a larger surface absorbing more hear from under the gpu and cpu.
