- Eva Noblezada took her final bow in Hadestown as Eurydice on Sunday, August 13th, 2023.
Original Broadway cast members André De Shields, Amber Gray and Patrick Page returned to the Walter Kerr and gave speeches, as well as Reeve Carney.

Staying with a show for FIVE YEARS is wild. Nobody does that. I don't blame her for needing some rest. It's especially crazy that Reeve is STILL with the show. I don't think I knew that they were a couple IRL but that checks out. Happy trails!
After this she’ll be doing a small production of Great Gatsby in I think Jersey!
I feel like loads of the Hadestown cast stayed very long, Patrick Page and Andre De Shields only left last year as well iirc.

I was lucky enough to see Eva with the original cast. She should be so so proud of herself. She brought the whole production to life. She made Eurydice her own. It will never be the same without Eva.
I bawled my eyes out for minutes after watching this for the first time. I never got to see Eva but to know she was spectacular and grace the eyes and ears of everyone who watched her gives me hope for broadway going forward and her career and other peoples.
I saw Hadestown - awesome play, awesome, talented actors.

it absolutely pains me that i will never be able to witness the greatness eva as eurydice live but how grateful i am that eva introduced me to the world of hadestown and setting the incredibly high standards for eurydice as time goes, i wish her the very best

I love Eva. I’m saddened by the fact that I never got to see her live in Hadestwon, but I’m sure I’ll get more opportunities to witness her talent in person one day. She’s got nothing but a bright future ahead of her and I’ll be right there supporting her incredible talent.

Beautiful tribute!!! Bawling from watching this. Eva is so talented. So incredible to have watched her grow up in 2 powerful roles..... Saw her both as Kim in Miss Saigon and Eurydice in Hadestown. Both these characters you truly feel the emotional pain she goes through for the man she loves. Such an incredible actress and singer. Her personality on and off stage. Her openness about her mental health. Such a light on this earth. Would love to work with her one day..... get that spirituality to grow as an actor myself. There will never be another and there can only be ONE Eva Noblezada!! Happy Trails!!! Can't wait for Great Gatsby. Thank you for an amazing 5 year journey WAY DOWN UNDER THE GROUND. We truly GAVE OUR LIFE FOR YOU!!!

Original cast of Hadestown was my first Broadway (on broadway) show. I am man enough to admit, I cried! I knew of her and will always follow her after that!
What a beautiful farewell video. I can't stop crying after hearing all those speeches. I got to see Eva only once in Hadestown when it first opened up on Broadway and it was truly an unforgettable experience and magical moment watching her perform on stage. I can't wait to see what other projects she'll be working on in the future. I wish her all the success in everything she does because she truly is one brilliant actress and singer. Reeve's speech was so beautiful and very touching. Happy trails, Eva! Thank you for sharing. ❤

I am in love with this show and have been since I saw it live last konth. I saw an understudy instead of her, but god its still the best thing I've ever seen. This is an amazing cast, and this was an amazing goodbye. God I love her

Eva's Eurydice sang me through the hardest years of my life. Her expressive performance of the character's journey was the story I needed to get me through those dark times. I had the unbelievable privilege of seeing her in the role a few weeks before she left the show. I'll never forget her performance. I didn't expect to cry watching this video, but here we are.
The way I sobbed watching this! I love Eva so much and was so happy I got to meet her at stage door when I saw the show.

My partner and I took a trip to New York 2 weeks ago after they announced will be leaving the production.
We saw this production (but with Lila’s White as Hermès) and we cried throughout the entire show!
We ended up doing a stage door and every cast member that came out recognized us because we were crying so much lol.
We got to meet Eva and Reeve and they talked to us for a while and Eva was so sweet to us. She thanked us for being members of the theatre and for coming to experience and support the show.
When she said this to us we couldn’t help but cry and be of shock. We’ve already saw Hadestown on tour twice, but we just had to see Eva and Reeve before it was too late.
We love this show much and encourage everyone to not only watch it, but experience it.

I was so sad I couldn't get tickets for the last show, it was sold out well in advance! I did manage to see her twice in the days prior though! Scored tickets for the Tuesday show then won the lottery for the Thursday show. Still wish I was able to catch her last one though!
Welp, I'll be seeing her in her short run with Great Gatsby next month!

This situation makes me so sad. Not because she’s leaving - I think that’s a very healthy and necessary move - but because she had to endure years of the show when she hated it. It took a physical and mental toll on her, and I can’t enjoy the show if I know that the actors weren’t happy.
I don't know that she hated it, more like the grind takes a toll even if you love your coworkers and customers. Plus it's a very emotional musical. It must be difficult to summon that level 8x a week.

They almost always film a proshot of the original Broadway cast of a musical, but it's more of a matter of if they ever cut it for general viewing and release it

a huge part of why i wanted to see hadestown in new york was because i wanted to see eva as eurydice. i’m so happy to say i was able to watch her live. she really is a legend. also, the way reeve held her while he was gushing about her made me melt, they’re so sweet together

I saw Eva 3 times , she really made her self a legend on Broadway with this show , she is a true shining example and a huge inspiration to many people, she will be forever loved by many people and Hadestown will never be the same with out her , I can’t wait to see where her amazing talents take her next love you both “ REEEVAAAAA ❤
I’m so thankful I got to see Eva, Reeve, and Patrick in their roles last September. I so badly wished I could’ve seen her last show but unfortunately I don’t live close enough to New York. This video is the next best thing. Thank you for capturing this beautiful moment for fans to witness♥️ I teared up when Eva was thanking Reeve😭 I bet I would’ve cried a whole lot more though if I was there in person🥺

That’s so cool that this show brought them together! Idk if they still are (I hope so) but imagine going to play a show with some stranger and you’re meant to play two soulmates but you end up finding real actual love in that very same person as well. The universe works in crazy ways

I feel so lucky that I got to see the show and even meet Eva at stage door before she left. Her performance gave me goosebumps so many times, it’s hard to imagine anyone else in the role. 🌹🫡 If my NYC trip was any later I would have seen a different Eurydice
I was able to see her in the last two weeks of shows, cutting it a little closer than I would’ve liked! It was so wonderful
when it was announced that eva was leaving, i posted it on my insta story all emotional, and my best friend bought our group of 3 tickets to see the show and it was so emotional for the fact that she was leaving so soon and that my dear friend thought to do that for the three of us. i didn't go to the final show but i did go and i feel so lucky to have seen her. seeing her live is such a phenomenal experience, i recommend it to everyone who can see her in absolutely any future production
