I live 15 minutes from the tunnel and just went through it today. It’s amazing inside! I have family buried at Singleterry Cemetery as well, and my grandparents used to do the upkeep on the place years ago!
Over the years, I've also discovered a few cemeteries with trains running through them. I can't believe you went into that tunnel. You're braver than me! I just subscribed and I'm looking forward to watching all of your past videos, now that I've found your channel.
The location 8 minutes into this film th-cam.com/video/BUVNLzMr4mg/w-d-xo.html has a lot of sections of (what looks like) old railroad trusses. Unless I'm mistaken, these are the old sections from the bridge. They are not shown in this video but I have photos of them. Thank you for your comments.

Fire ants are something people from the north don't understand. :-) I have visited a few Civil War cemeteries along my path down that way. They are always interesting to find.
Thanks for the video. We just went to the area today exploring some of the same cemeteries. Please send me the TAG google earth map. THANKS! Wife and I will go to gadsden next week.
Have you heard of the abandoned train in the woods of Alabama?? I am not sure where it is but one other TH-camr explored it and I would love to know the story behind it
Could you send me the Google map of the TAG railroad. I am really into old railroads. I have been to Yellow creek and followed it through the wooded areas to the south.
I think you're talking about the Yellow Creek Piers. Minute 07:30 on the video. This is where the TAG Line crossed Yellow Creek on Weiss Lake. I paddled from the boat ramp at Cherokee County Rd 365 at Yellow Creek Falls Fish Camp.
I think I know the cemetery you're referencing. If you get a minute, please message me. If I've not seen it already, I would like to take a look. Thank you.
This is def private property now. These owners have guns and not at all happy to have visitors there. Also that tunnel was built in 1887 and Southern RR abandoned it in the 1980s
I always enjoy your adventures. Thanks for sharing.

It is such beautiful landscape down there and the cemeteries accentuate the countryside. I have heard people are no longer allowed in the tunnel.
love this channel and I thought I was the only one who thought that cemeteries are peaceful and normal for a person to love visiting for peace.
Thanks you. I think so, too.

Howzabout exploration of old outhouses alongside cemeteries near abandoned rail tunnels?
"uranusimploding" I think you're trying to make a joke! :-)
they have trespassing signs up but it looks like trains no longer run on the tracks
Trains haven't run on them in years but the RR company still owns the tracks.
