Thank you so much for taking the time to show us how to properly ship aerosol cans. I had no idea. By watching your video you have saved me from going through a lot of hassle to ship my aerosol can's. After watching your video I decided to open my two aerosol cans to see if they were wrapped properly. I had ordered these two aerosol can's via eBay. They arrived in a white durable bag. Inside I found, three bubble wrapped bags. Can's weren't wrapped separately in a paper towel nor were they placed in a heavy bag as required. The white bag had no marked notation's, like Consumer Commodity, Surface Mail Only, Aerosol, ORM-D as you described. It had the shippers address, my address tracking numbers and a square box with an S in it. I could hear the aerosol can shake when I shook the package. I'm so glad I watched your video. Originally, I thought it would be okay to just put my two ordered aerosol's into another bag to ship, which would have made these cans 5 bags durable, lol. .Little did I know, wow. Thanks to you, if I sell these 2 cans on eBay, they'll be double boxed, each can will be individually wrapped with paper towels and bagged separately and I will write Consumer Commodity - ORM-D - Surface Mail ONLY - "AEROSOL" :)
I like your shipping/packing station. At first I thought it was a laundry room but now I see it's all devoted to shipping. Hope I do enough business to have that someday! Great tips.
Thank you for giving a straight answer to a simple question. I was unable to get an answer online from anyone when I asked how to ship an aerosol can. Excellent. I am going to send 2 bottles of Isopropyl alcohol 99% 16oz. c / u., my doubt is if it is necessary to put it in a double box. Thanks for your answer.
But how does this work for things like shaving cream? Small cans? And how much would that cost to ship? I'm also wondering how Amazon is getting away with just putting the cans in the box with some bubble fillers along with Hair spray as well because I order both and that much care is never given. They come still rolling around in the box sometimes. I'm very confused over this because I keep reading different things and going by my own experience of having these items mailed to me. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.
Shaving cream should follow the same rules bc it’s aereosol. Amazon can get away with most things simply because they are Amazon. For small cans it depends what type of cans and the weight.
Great video! Thanks for posting this kind of info. I do have a question.. I am also shipping aerosol spray paint, do I also need to put a limited quantity sticker on it? Is it ship the same way but at the end just write flamable. Since its hazmat when dropping it off at the usps must I give it to a worker or can I drop it off the that place we always do when the office close. Thanks
