I just wish our Wildlife Department here in Oklahoma would add a late season muzzle loader season. Our archery ends on 1/15 every year & we rarely get any snow till then if not February. A last week muzzle loader season would be great here.

It’s amazing how these deer can stand frozen in place for so long without moving a millimeter, like they’re carved out of stone. They’re so amazing and beautiful. It’s no wonder once you start hunting them you’re absolutely hooked for life.

Wow!! That was hard earned!! Congratulations! I think the buck figured he was safe because anything watching him as long as he stood still would freeze to death before he did! That's brutal temps!
Congrats Aaron! Hunting in those types of conditions can be deadly and caution must be taken. Glad Ted was able to film and also be there as a safety net. I’d love to see y’all do a gear dump on your cold weather gear. Sometimes giving in to the extreme cold is inevitable, but the longer you can stay out the better your chances of getting a shot opportunity
I wish i could hunt in the Snow..I live S/West Ga where it never Snows. Hardly even gets cold here anymore..but I just have so much more respect for people like yal who actual Hunt and aren't sitting in their spoiled rumps in a heated Blind on every hunt.

Outstanding buck, great job guys! We’re in north central ND we ended the bow season with three “freezer queens” it was -36 straight but only 10 mph wind luckily.
YES!! Finally Warb gets the hammer down, Greg and Warb hunts are always my Fav. Must see TH-cam !! This was our best family season ever, both my boys killed nice bucks and my brother bow killed one. I was able to arrow one and get one with my Muzzy. Congrats Aaron on a great deer and a fun hunt to watch, battling extreme elements are tough but always makes for a good story.

Great shot Warb. You guys should come to PA next year for the muzzle loader season after Christmas. If you do, you will need to leave your inline at home and bring your flint lock.
This is the best- hunting in the snow and cold, and not just relaxing in a box blind-but getting out there in the elements. I love late ML season. I hunted the next cold spell/storm in Eastern IA the day after Christmas- didn't see any bucks like that unfortunately, but was still good hunting. Keep the awesome videos coming.
Great video guys. Late season muzz in MN is what I live for. That being said we drag a lot of deer out on sleds. Try to take a cheep deer harness with a 6-8 foot rope coming off of the harness and tie that to the rope on the sled. Gets the sled 10-12 ft. away from your feet so it doesn’t clip your legs and you don’t kill your arms and hands. Congrats Warb.
You guys confirmed what we all suspected about THP. You gotta love hunting and be tough to get out in that weather. That same system hit us in WV during Christmas. Congratulations on a wonderful hunt and deer!
When you mount it you should find a taxidermist that can make it look like there's ice on his antlers and frozen drops and snow on his hair to make the hunt come back when you look at it
