tensile viscous mochi combo makes extra sticky mochi (when combined with powder it pretty much makes c4)
inflow outflow combo makes what i like to call void fluid base, it consumes everything, self replicates when agitated by dragging it everywhere, and cannot be destroyed with regular outflow. i choose the wording of "base" because anything added only changes the main physical properties and not the mechanical properties

I completely forgot about this!
I remember playing around with this back in middle school, it was pretty fun combining the different things, like mixing Viscous, tensile and fire to make a sort of lava, there's also snow you can add to things as well. This, powdertoy, and Halo were probably most of the games that I played at school back then, mainly because of how easy they were to play off of a flashdrive, it was simple to play for just 5 minutes and shut it off.

I probably read about it on some kind of forum or something back then. No wait. . . I think I saw a comment on an Image board that said how certain effects were done using OE Cake, or something.
This must be a similar engine they used when making 'Little Inferno', those fire effects seem pretty reminiscent of that game's physics.

I havent played OE Cake in 5 years. It's honestly kinda nostalgic watching you mess around with it
Oh boy this stream was insane and one of the strongest ones in a while. So yeah, I used to play with OE Cake about 10 years ago and had a ton of fun with it, so this was kind of nostalgic in a way for me. Good times playing physics based sandbox games.
On a similar note, I also played a lot of wxSand on a USB stick that didn't have as much storage nowadays, I'm thinking 256 MB. That game was also very fun as it had a bunch of cool mods to play with for a while. I'd definitely be down for more sandbox games to mess around with as the OE Cake stream was a major success in my opinion.
Oh man. I miss wxSand.
Yeah, I think most mods I played on wxSand revolved around drawing a crude representation of a human body and messing around with it. Looking back I probably used DrMod the most. On TH-cam most of the videos about wxSand have thumbnails of poorly drawn bodies so I guess those kinds of mods were the most popular.
Anyway I think nowadays the two major falling sand games are Powder Game by Dan-Ball and an open source project called The Powder Toy. Both have strong community made content which keeps things fresh compared to other games without a way to share any creations.
