The Tomadachi series introduced me to Southbird who at this time was just a small compilation maker for this series connecting the lore into a neatly tied story. I know everybody gushes about the mysteriously legitimate writing that went into this series, but I can't get over how well the dance sequence at 2:03 foreshadows Two-faced. She's taking center-stage and she's the only one completely dressed in black, singing a love song. If this were a movie, I'd roll my eyes at how obvious it is. But it's not a movie; it's Tomodachi life. Whatever story you can find in this was written by entropy and assessment. It's not even presented as a narrative AT ALL, but every piece just happened to fall into place. If this were deliberately written, it would totally ruin the appeal. There can only be a "film" like this if the stars align, and they did.
To be honest, I can't watch someone else play Tomodachi Life after watching Vinny playing this game. He has memes, Celebrities that i like, Lore (Thanks to Captain Southbird), better drama than daytime television, and the music he made was hilarious. He is the reason why i brought this game and hope for Tomodachi life 2.

I Only watch this when I'm bored, and I can safely say that it's an amazing experience every time I watch it. Tomodachi Life is a trip, no matter how you play it or manage your island. There's always something that will make you come back to it.

In my opinion, it's justified for Vinny's Tomodachi Life streams. They're long, there's a lot of them and always have something worthy of note happen in them. Compiling all of the most important stuff into a highlight reel makes it easy to keep up on the "lore" and doesn't kill all of your free time.
I mean it's made up of like probably 60 hours of streams... that would take forever to sift through and edit into an hour and half video. It's not lazy at all lol. If anything, it's far more work.
Love your music, I own most of your CDs and several shirts. Realign is probably one of my favorite albums of all time. I also love What Could Go Wrong, Visions and Another Light too. Wish the you had more Realign CDs in stock because it’s the only album I don’t have in my collection. Also love the Tomodachi Life streams from years ago when I was a kid and still to this day. So glad to finally see this on the main channel. Whenever I've introduced someone to Vinny, I've always been sure to show them the highlights from Tomodachi. The uncanny coincidences and comedic timing of the game itself is funny enough, but Vinny's commentary and insane metaplots (especially the Jahn stuff) really makes it a must-watch experience.
Given he was up against the limitations of the game, the way he orchestrated the entire Jahn invasion subtly over the last few streams leading up to 50 was genius. I remember when 49 had ended and 50 wasn't going to be out for about 3 weeks, there was tension so thick you cut it with a knife. Everyone was panicking, wondering whether 50 would just be an island of Jahns, evaporated completely, or something in between. People invested in their favorite characters were fearing their fates. That kind of emotional effect across his audience was unforgettable.
I’ll never forget this damn series, the drama, the tension, humor, and the amazing lore Vinny created that made the fanbase love this too. Thanks Vinny again, for posting this. And thank you for playing Miitopia, to bring back our old lovable miis to make us happy.

I know everybody gushes about the mysteriously legitimate writing that went into this series, but I can't get over how well the dance sequence at 2:03 foreshadows Two-faced.
She's taking center-stage and she's the only one completely dressed in black, singing a love song. If this were a movie, I'd roll my eyes at how obvious it is. But it's not a movie; it's Tomodachi life. Whatever story you can find in this was written by entropy and assessment. It's not even presented as a narrative AT ALL, but every piece just happened to fall into place.
If this were deliberately written, it would totally ruin the appeal. There can only be a "film" like this if the stars align, and they did.

To be honest, I can't watch someone else play Tomodachi Life after watching Vinny playing this game. He has memes, Celebrities that i like, Lore (Thanks to Captain Southbird), better drama than daytime television, and the music he made was hilarious. He is the reason why i brought this game and hope for Tomodachi life 2.
Seriously, TL2 is at the top of my wish list because of how much lore could come out of it. Miitopia was alright, but it doesn't count

I Only watch this when I'm bored, and I can safely say that it's an amazing experience every time I watch it. Tomodachi Life is a trip, no matter how you play it or manage your island. There's always something that will make you come back to it.

I love how Tucker left the series with no friends, no lovers, and literally nothing in his mind
I feel like with any other channel/series I'd call laziness on yet another compilation but the Tomodachi streams were honestly THAT good. It sounds biased, I know, but it honestly is deserving of this treatment
In my opinion, it's justified for Vinny's Tomodachi Life streams. They're long, there's a lot of them and always have something worthy of note happen in them.
Compiling all of the most important stuff into a highlight reel makes it easy to keep up on the "lore" and doesn't kill all of your free time.
Each stream is about an hour or two long. I don't think this is laziness at all.
Editing a stream takes just as much work as editing a normal video, lol.
I mean it's made up of like probably 60 hours of streams... that would take forever to sift through and edit into an hour and half video. It's not lazy at all lol. If anything, it's far more work.

nothing will ever live up to this game. it truly was a perfect storm that no one will ever be able to recreate.
So glad to finally see this on the main channel. Whenever I've introduced someone to Vinny, I've always been sure to show them the highlights from Tomodachi. The uncanny coincidences and comedic timing of the game itself is funny enough, but Vinny's commentary and insane metaplots (especially the Jahn stuff) really makes it a must-watch experience.
Given he was up against the limitations of the game, the way he orchestrated the entire Jahn invasion subtly over the last few streams leading up to 50 was genius. I remember when 49 had ended and 50 wasn't going to be out for about 3 weeks, there was tension so thick you cut it with a knife. Everyone was panicking, wondering whether 50 would just be an island of Jahns, evaporated completely, or something in between. People invested in their favorite characters were fearing their fates. That kind of emotional effect across his audience was unforgettable.
