He's good. Close to Simon but no character can come close to The Governor and all of the things he's done as a true Psychopath. He murdered an entire army just to prove a point. I can't imagine any other 'villain' character in the series to do that. OKAY may Troy Otto from FTWD, and Simon (I mean he did straight out do a Governor with the trash people).
One of my favorite villains in the show. I was sad to see him get killed. Very emotional. The Governor, Beta and the wolf pack leader were great also. Merle wasnt really a villain, just a smartass bully of a brother, but he was cool too. His walker turning scene was just as emotional as Jared's.
I think Gavin would have been one of the most redeemable saviors if Henry did not killed him back in season 8. He was just doing his job in return of not being executed by Negan or the saviors.
It bugs me still to this day that Jared outlived Gavin for a few more episodes. I was hoping Gavin could have at least been redeemed since he was just trying to survive in this hellscape
I love this era of the walking dead. Me and my wife watched it a couple of years ago, her first time, my second time watching the series. Damn it is reminiscent.
I hated Jared. He was played by a great actor, just like most other characters on TWD. When an actor sells a part so well that they make the audience actually hate or love them, they are truly great actors. Like the Governer, Negan and Simon, I hated Jared, especially after he killed Ben 3:00 to 3:07 . I started to lose interest in the show after Abraham and Glenn died, and especially after Carl died, but it was worth watching to see THIS a-hole finally get what he deserved: 5:15 to 5:29 a slow and painful death along with (hopefully) an eternity in Hell.

Jared was a good antag. I love how he alone showed a Savior can have a heart...by making Gavin look like a saint in comparison.
