Good stuff Russel. This is a different question I have for you. I just had a lesson on skype for the second time and I forgot how to share screens and a file with the student again! I ended up having to send the file to the chatbox! I felt so stupid lol. I find Skype so hard when teaching!

I have a few videos about teaching with Skype, you might find them useful:th-cam.com/play/PLqYj2sOxDkVyn5THUv9sI0BZH6RF6Z-LN.html

You taught us in another video about adding lists from Word and I've been doing that for some time. I'd like to add that if you want to do a "Match up" or "Find the match" activity, the best way is to put your words and definitions in two adjoining columns in sheets or Excel. (or you can create a table in Word, but that is more time consuming). Copy and paste them at the same time and they will go in next to each other in the Wordwall activity. Re the Switch Template activity, I demonstrate this to students so they know they can increase or decrease difficulty when revising (for example Match up is the hardest activity, then Find the match , then Quiz)

Yes, I have repeated this in several videos as it is useful. The point about the columns is an excellent one and I ofen do that too. Thank you

Thanks - I'm very grateful to learn that the speed can be changed/slowed down as the default speed is too fast!

This is really helpful, especially how to save new activity when you switch the template. Do you know if there is a way to save an activity with a particular theme? I know it keeps the last theme opened but I would like to keep some permanently, as the themes seem to change.

Unfortunately, Wordwall currently doesn't have a feature to permanently save activities with specific themes, but you can manually note or reapply the theme when recreating the activity.

I was on holiday from teaching and today it seems that access to Wordwall has changed, but I can't find anything online addressing the change. It seems you have to pay now.

As of my last knowledge Wordwall offered both free and paid plans. However, the features and pricing of online platforms can change over time, so I recommend checking the official Wordwall website or contacting their support for the most up-to-date information on their pricing and plans.

I'd love to use the Community option, but I'm afraid I'll have to upgrade my free version.

Betina, I didn't realise that was only for paid customers
