hello, I have the same config, with a 25t sprocket you don't get too hot, your combo you have kept the mechanical brakes so no reverse gear is to save your lipo
No I have reverse. The brakes are not super tight. So my esc brakes are at 30% and the rest is mechanical brakes. I keep it slow when reversing.
About to take out my full mod obr 30cc and throw in a 12s combo too. Nothing below 12s is worth taking out the obr lol

I think the wrap looks fine. I'm pretty sure someone makes wheel wells for the 5ive T but not 100%, will help minimize the rocks coming in. I run open chassis myself and the pinion tends to chew up the rocks. The only issue i seem to ever have is rocks get caught in the steering. Definitely not something you want when coming your direction. Bummer about the bumper, they dont usually break, at least not from what ive seen. Probably old and brittle. Heck, might even be the original.
Maybe the original. It was literally 22 degrees that day too. New one on the way. I love the 5t!
@@heavymetalrc7520 I knew you would. How many teeth on that pinion? Stock is 20. I dont what temps you are getting but i know people who run the 2028 Castle bump the pinion up to 23 and the run time doesnt change all that much considering. 20 mill in the rear definitely helps it track nice and straight. Keep an eye on your wheel nuts as many people have them come loose, i personally never had that issue but i dont remove my wheels often.
@@SebastianLong it's a 25t. So far with the servo brake installed temps do go above 130. Hopefully it stays that way when it gets warm out.
@@heavymetalrc7520 Sweet. I think you'd be alright installing a fan on the motor IF need be. Plenty of room. Im sure youll figure it out soon enough. Lol. I dont think it will get much hotter, but i dont know of many people with electric conversions with the equipment youve got.
