I have rewatched the entire series over a half dozen times. I love introducing new people to it and laughing alongside them as they fall in love with the characters too.
Same, Community is almost always my "go-to" comfort show. Like if I'm doing chores or working on something, or if I'm debating on something else to watch, , an episode is usually playing in the background.
I would say there is something keeping season 4 together (from what I remember watching it). Season 5 turned real bad once Troy left it, and I would never rewatch season 6 again because it feels like a completely different show!
I can understand that, I think there's a lot to be said about Season 4 being the last full season with the entire main cast, even if Chevy Chase started to leave around then. And while I love Season 6, I completely understand why it's not for everyone. It FEELS different, like it's a bit too grounded, plus half the original cast is gone.
When I was introduced to Community, I didn't really like it. It was ok, but nothing special, too generic to my taste. But somehow kept watching it (I don't mind leaving a show if I'm bored, some people can't), until I saw the chicken mafia episode. That's when I started to see its potential, and Modern Warfare obviously got my attention. But as a fan of Scorsese and The Sopranos, the Contemporary Ameican Pultry felt rather captivating for me. Now I've watched this show too many times to count, it's my favourite comedy show of all time (even better than The Office for me, and I love The Office), and as many imperfect things like Dark Souls and Fallout New Vegas, having flaws doesn't retract from the uniqueness and great potential they all have. Great videos.
Woah man, "Mickey and the Beanstalk" was a deep cut, but the disney daemons are thorough. Fee fie fo fum...something something DMCA? These seasons were increasingly painful to watch, especially having listened to the Harmontown podcasts in the background. This show carried, in its tiniest ways, the sweet spark of joy that was "Heat Vision and Jack" forward, but by season 5 the flame had gone out. For any who haven't seen it, you're about to have the greatest 30 minutes of your life. th-cam.com/video/6lWgXDOAJ5s/w-d-xo.html
That reminds me of a line I cut from my original draft regarding Community. "You're either canceled like Community, or live long enough to see yourself become Arrested Development." Like the later seasons have their moments, but there's no denying how mixed they can be. When I was researching for this project, one thing that stood out to me was how even the production team trashed their episodes in the behind-the-scenes commentary. They knew it wasn't their best, and while it's one thing to say that as a viewer, it really sucks when you worked on the episode.

Nice Chang drop

Great videos.
Oh damn I never knew Hickey died. Did you notice the news bulletin that said Troy and LeVar Burton were abducted by pirates?
I did! It's always neat to see those minor details, like how they kind of allude to Professor Slater as well
@@ViviVariety Where's that? I missed it, I gotta know! Maybe I should just rewatch it all again lol
awesome video, just finished my second watching of the show, I'm a little in the feels and craving some more Greendale 🥺. Cool channel, new subscriber
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Danganrompa ost
Oh man this video is gonna sting :(
Hey, there's always the movie....eventually...
I personally like season 4 way more than 5 and 6
It's really not all bad, like it's easy to get into the whole "season 4 bad" debacle, but there are good episodes and moments.
Rewatch 5 and 6. They hold up

@@ViviVariety Oh man, shots fired. No mercy there.
