True and genuine teaching is one God baptized in Jesus Christ name thankyou ptr David Bernard
6:40
The newspaper he’s referring to was the Los Angeles Daily Times. The tongues was peculiarly but not the most offensive part of these meetings. What was really scandalous was that the meetings were not segregated and saints of all races were mixing together. That was the outrage.
Thank you, Rev. David K. Bernard! May The LORD JESUS continue to bless you! Love in Christ! I've been baptized In JESUS Name, too! Acts 2.38!
God bless
What matters is not the phenomenon but the healing and the betterment of lives by the Spirit of Truth, I would not be surprised if there was a prophecy against us that we've become sensationalists and that God has refrained His hands from us, because that's what happened
godbless
Great sir Bernard. Thanks for information. GOD bless you.
Amen
Thank you, So fascinating !!
Then william branham came and straightened the doctrinal differences they had like water baptism in the name of tne lord jesus christ and the pure word of God
Hallelujah🙏🙏🙏 from 1st Fijian UPCI🙏🙏🙏
Can you explain the differences in preaching, teaching and exhortation
Amen 🙏🏻
One thing that is worth noting that happened at Azusa was the gathering of several occultists at the meetings.
They were attracted to the manifestations they found at Azusa because they recognized of what Spirit they were.
You need to repent
@@shanewilson2270I always thought that whist5816 was a Calvinist, now I am not so sure. I think he just enjoys stirring the pot.
@@shanewilson2270 I am always in need of repentence, but not of this. This is in sources from early pentecostals. And I can find the specific quotes from one of these authors, if you’d like, though I can’t promise to be prompt since I don’t have much freetime these days.
@@recoveredcalvinist I don’t know what exactly would have initially caused the thought that I am Calvinist. But I certainly am not, nor I have ever been one. Forgive me, if I gave you that impression by saying something unclear, and also the impression that I simply enjoy stirring the pot. It’s not good to argue for arguments sake. But argument, or perhaps in more palatable terms discussion or discourse, should always be aimed at what is true. I contend because I consider there to have been made a serious error in Oneness theology.
❤
Mr. Bernard. Please explain what is faith..New converts doesn't understand what faith is today. Scripture says walk by Faith, not by sight. We need Clear Understanding to walk this walk upright..
Hebrews 11 explains it crystal clear.
@revamp6612 it's not an example. It just says it's the evidence of things hoped for. So if I want to open blind eyes, do I go pray for the person without the leading of The Holy Spirit
@ seems you only read verse 1. Try the whole chapter.
First example after the definition of faith is Abel, then Enoch, then Noah, then Abraham, then Sarah. Example after example.
@@Almtyhalfbreed If you are born again and praying in the name of Jesus you are being led by the Holy Ghost. Also read James about faith. Faith is developed by actions, the same as love is.
“Pentecost is not over. In fact, it is continually going on in every time and in every place, because the Holy Spirit desired to give himself to all men and all who want him can always receive him, so we do not have to envy the apostles and the first believers; we only have to dispose ourselves like them to receive him well, and he will come to us as he did to them.” - Saint Elena Guerra. Saint Elena Guerra, who was known in the Catholic Church as an apostle of the Holy Spirit wrote to Pope Leo XIII about the Holy Spirit. In response, in 1897, Pope Leo XII told Catholic priests to begin praying for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to take place in the early 20th century.
I believe on the day of Pentecost, Peter spoke the keys of the Kingdom Acts 2:38, all believers were water baptized in Jesus name. 1, they were now spiritual priests washing priests and applying the shed blood for remission of sins. They were partakers of the 1st fruits. These were the keys to the kingdom spoken by Peter and do not contradict John 3:3,5 and 8, or Matt 28:19.
Then in Acts we see outpouring in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and uttermost parts of the earth. PTL 🎉
Praise God
Those people were under the trinitarian doctrine were they saved to make Heaven if they were using the wrong name or titles?
Yes and after people received the Holy Ghost in 1901 -1906 God begins to reveal truth.
1st cor 2: 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Actually, the Pentecostal revival started in Topeka, Kansas under Charles Parham. He taught Jesus' name baptism almost from the beginning.
@@davidcoleman5860the revival actually started in India 1905 with Pandita Ramabai’s muhkti revival. In America I would give it to Seymour because he had the correct doctrine of salvation, sanctification and baptism of the spirit. That holiness emphasis made the spirit manifest in unimaginable ways.
@@GreaterThanWealth It couldn't have "started" in 1905 because Parham's work started in 1900---five years before the work you cite.
What about the ol holiness churches in the Appalachian Mountains
Funny all believers at Azusa were Trinitarian, when the break began to happen over Baptism not the Trinity none of the men who left the AG for the “ new issue”, ever question their Salvation before submitting to Rebaptism.
But how did the Oneness Movement start? And why is Oneness salvific?

@@hcebabyWikipedia? Really?
Pray, fast and ask God for his will in these video's for this is the roots and the beginning of your salvation. I pray that your filled with the fullness of the Holy Ghost with understanding.
Oh btw don't forget we were given Billy Graham .tent revivals in the south east ..
Romans, 8:9, John, 3:5, Acts 2:38,,,,,NOT OPTIONAL
so are we saved by speaking the name Jesus over us in baptism or do we go by the meaning of any name as long as it means YHWH is salvation.. ( YHWH is Yehushua) ? asking because John 5:43 we can not get Jesus is the Name Peter spoken in Acts 2:38 ... Peter said this was spoken by the Prophet Joel .. from Joel ch 2... LORD coverd up the Fathers true Name YHWH (YAHWAH)
Acts 9:5 (KJV) And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: [it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
@bigjohn1019 If you are talking about the equivalent of the name Jesus in another language yes. For instance Jesus in Vietnamese is Giêsu. And of course we get the name Jesus from the Greek Iēsous. There is power in the name of Jesus. Does that power change because of a different language? No. The first Church spoke Greek and Hebrew. That power of God continues in English, Vietnamese, Spanish, any language that is spoke.
@@hargisP2 AMEN to that, but the question comes from a deeper confusion of the "secret name movement"
Doesn't YHWH means I Am that's it in Hebrew I believe
Too bad racism divided the Pentecostal Church... And to be truthful, it still plays a part of the church today
And thank God leaps and strides are being made in the modern church to let God fix and correct His people. Just like God used Paul had to correct Peter (Galatians 2:11) for his apparent distancing from the Gentiles in the church. Thank God for leaders like Bro Bernard who acknowledged the church should have done better in that time of American and church history.

The one that focuses on Race is the one that has the problem. There’s only one race, the human race.
We are a Republic not a democracy. The word democracy is no where in the founding documents. Democracy is equal to Communism. Abortion is murder and no “Christian” should support it. Believing lies will take you where you don’t want to go.
How so? Genuinely curious
