- Brandon Tatum (The officer Tatum on TH-cam) recently commented on one of my videos claiming that the Trinity is a false doctrine. As I looked further into his views, I found that he does not believe that Jesus is God. In this video I discuss some of the things he said about it.

Yes he is very prideful... it was painful watching and witnessing his extreme arrogance. He really thinks so highly of himself and so low of Jesus, the Savior of the world. The bible makes it clear only God can offer salvation through the forgiveness of sins. I have just one important question for B Tatum:

Like you don't need the rest of the gospel according to John, the same chapter that talks about the Word and the Word being God, John says the Word became flesh.
Also in John 10:18 Jesus says that He lays down His life and He has the power to take it up again.
If All things were created by him, through him and for him. Rather it be visible or invisible then that means Jesus is not a created being. If Jesus is not a created being then that means he’s eternal. If Jesus is eternal than that means he is God. 🙏🏾

According to the trinitarian diagram Jesus is not the Father. Scripture says the Father raised Jesus from the dead so how is it that Jesus resurrected himself if scripture says the Father did ?????? Jesus did not resurrect himself, the Father did.

When I heard it, I actually struggled where to start, there’s so much contrary evidence in the whole Bible against it. You’ve chosen a great example.
That's right. The Mission was Jesus restoring everything by being the perfect sacrifice for the human race and therefore dying on the Cross and taking our place which He did not deserve.

I am a roockie, about 5 years in the faith. And I found it plain to see that Jesus is God and claimed to be.
Brandon clearly loves God with all his heart. Human intelligence capability to understand the Bible clearly causes MANY PEOPLE to debate the Bible.
I pray to God that people can realize who God is in a profound way while alive as we do the moment we die when EVERYONE realizes instantly upon death. I pray God will let people know while they are alive on earth God is real in a profound way instead of waiting until death to revel himself. Billions of people would be saved from hell if only God manifested himself to people in life as he does upon death. When it’s too late. That’s unfair.

To better understand man, Jesus became a man. For a time. Jesus on the cross says that God has abandoned him - did He lost faith? For a time being when he was man, yes. He DIED on the cross - if he was God, could he die? Can you kill God? He voluntarily become not perfect being in order to better understand man. If you only look for blasphemies - what about fact that man is not perfect? Perfect God's creation is flawed? It clearly is but everything has its purpose. So Jesus could easily, voluntarily, for a time become flawed too. He voluntarily let himself die for 3 days. If He was all the time perfect God, killing Him would be impossible, also He would never loose faith. But he had to go through all this to understand us better. Heres another blasphemy" - I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL if He had wife and kids. Thats part of being man. I'm sure some purists cant even stand that thought :) But why would it be bad? For Jesus having a child? If he would not he would be like Catholic priest - talking about family and fatherhood while never truly becoming a father.

@144 first of all, my comment was not directed towards Tatum, since i am familiar with his work supporting Trump, it was directed (as I said) to "Christians" who support the democrats. Secondly, how does the verse you quoted show that Jesus is not God in the Trinitarian view? All you have done is confirmed that Jesus was sent by God. We believe that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are God, but that the Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is not the Father. Also, how would you address the verses in this video, where Jesus is clearly called God?
@144 There are so many instances that prove Jesus is God. Just because He was sent by the Father does not disprove His deity, He was simply obeying the command of His Father. Jesus' role as God before His second coming is to act as the bridge between God and man (because we have sinned, we have strayed away from our relationship with God and Jesus Himself would be the bridge that brings us back to God). If Jesus is not God, He would not be able to cast miracles in His own name, raise Himself from the dead, read the thoughts of people, etc.

Yes we need to pray for him, I listen to his testimony about how he received the Holy Spirit but I have learned the hard way that many have mistaken the Kundalini spirit for the Holy Spirit.
It’s sad because he says the Holy Spirit is God, but not Jesus. Seems like he’s contradicting himself.
I stopped watching Tatum and Crowder a long time ago for similar reasons: their spirit is not right.
That seems nebulous, but Crowder’s interactions with his wife and the team at Daily Wire, and this video (and others) from Tatum fleshed out my decisions, long after I had made them. Arrogance is a prime symptom of a poor spirit.
I'd be very careful judging people by singular clips with very little context. Most of us have said things we regret, we're just very lucky it wasn't posted online.

Yeah, I stopped watching Crowder or paying attention to him around the time he separated from his wife. Don't pay much attention to Tatum or the Conservative Twins either these days.
Liberal Hivemind, Benny Johnson and Mark Dice are my go-to channels. I guess they just have a better approach to the topics they cover.

The beautiful thing about free will is you can believe what u want. As for me Jesus is God manifested in Flesh. The Godman is what I say. This is very hard for our human minds to wrap around but when and if we all make it into heaven you can ask him all these questions.
Jesus also said that we are one with him. So wouldn't that make us one with the Father? With that reasoning we would also be God.
Above all others, believe what Jesus himself said in these verses:
John 17:3, John 20:17, Matthew 28:19 (then at one point he had no power or authority.

It also says let US make man in OUR image meaning more than one.
Jesus said “before Abraham was I AM” I feel like no one really talks about the eternal nature of that statement. He didn’t say “I WAS”. It is so clear he’s saying he was in the beginning, during that time and is with us TODAY and will forever be because HE is the mighty God!!!
This is a good scripture for you to see that the Almighty was speaking through the Son not the Son saying this. You see the son was born therefore he couldnt be before Abraham and were to only serve 1 God. checkout pastor Gino Jennings

If you assume The Father is speaking through Jesus in this conversation then this verse makes no sense. What you wind up with is something like "it is worth noting if The Father glorifies The Father, what counts is that The Father glorifies The Father". What do you make of that?

It is perfectly understandable for two people with the Spirit to interpret Scripture differently. But on basic doctrine, like the Trinity and Divinity of Christ, there can be no doubt among the people of God.

You do understand that what Jesus is saying that if you have seen Jesus you have seen the same character as God? Jesus is only the Son but the same character as the Father so he isn't the Father. The book of John shows this that Jesus and the Father are two different beings.
JDobrozsi1 is correct. He is caliming that since he (Yeshua) lives a perfect sinless life (as a man) by walking in line with the Spirit of YHWH in every moment, that seeing his life, was seeing a mirror image of the Father.
The Father, YHWH has his own body and his own name. As does the Son, Yeshua the Messiah. However, the Spirit of YHWH (Holy Spirit) has neither a name or a body. And is therefore the power of the Father how he moves throughout his creation and empowers it.
The Trinity is a 1st-3rd century doctrine of man that is adopted from pagan religions
When we realize that God is a title of author (elohim) and this can refer to YHWH, Yeshua, angels, demons, earthly kings, etc... it helps us understand things in context. Multiple times Yehsua refers to his Father YHWH as his God/elohim
So yes, since Yehsua is the Son of the most high God/elohim, he also is god/elohim, but his has always been and will always be under the authority of his Father.
@SG-jv5zi thanks for going more in depth yes that is more of what I have heard and am learning but ultimately we must remember that God and Jesus are not as the Catholics say so when the trinitarians say it is biblical they must be specific what they say the trinity is. I am seeing in other pagan beliefs the trinity so that makes it suspect for me as well. Catholicism is steeped in a lot of paganism as well so we should question all we see from that denomination. I am an ex Catholic so I should know.

@SG-jv5zi I would say the bible supports two individuals and not three. The third person of the Holy Spirit is the Father's own Spirit and well Christ the Son is the second person. They all are of the same essence and character and that is really one of the only things that is similar about them. Let me find the verse in the NT that says that Jesus is the "firstborn of all creation". The trinitarians say that all three individuals have always been around but that verse calls it all into question. The Father has always been and well as far as I know so has his Spirit too but I have not seen yet in scripture if that is so. The Father for sure has always existed before creation.

We r all trying to figure this out. What is the opposite of life=death. If in fact Yeshua resurrected himself then we were lied to. Cause he never died some part of him was still alive, and that something was able to resurrect him. Which means he never fully died but only part of him, which is opposite of the scriptures.

God in complete humility gave us Jesus so we can see him experience the same exact things we are. Emotions, pain, everyday life and eventually death. Why do you think He hung and crucified on the cross? Because of blasphemy, right? Right. He claimed to be God so He was convicted of blasphemy. When Jesus ascended, He gave us the Holy Spirit. To guide us and reveal the truth to us. You simply cannot have one without the other. We are covered by grace and our salvation is made in Him! “Jesus is the way , the truth and the life.. and no one can get to the Father but through me” because he IS God. He is the great I AM. Not understanding the holy trinity in its entirety keeps the church separated but it’s honestly very simple. Even with knowing all of this. Without faith, you have nothing and will never please Him.

@@bpills5256 Yes because Jesus had temperarily taken the status of a slave who subordinates his will to the Father, so the Father was greater socially in that moment but not greater in being. When Jesus' work on Earth was finished and he took up his true status as King, he and the Father were equal again.

Actually, the Holy Trinity was a false doctrine created by the Catholic Church, specifically "father Tertullian" so before we just assume that he's incorrect, let's actually talk about what's saying. Saying that God and Jesus Christ are one and the same would be like saying Jesus is an incarnate version of God, which is unbiblical and also just not true. The Bible clearly states that Jesus Christ, Christ literally meaning "Anointed One", is literally the SON OF GOD. Also, if God and Jesus are the same, then why do we pray to Jesus as our intercessor between him and God? That wouldn't make sense, we would just be talking directly to God Himself. When it was written in the Bible that God and Jesus are one, they meant that Jesus Christ knows all things, just as his Father does, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are literally the same being. If that was the case, when people get baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit, they would literally be taking in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is a gift given to us by God, but it is not God Himself. Make it make sense, and don't just use one verse to support your answer.

First, in this passage, Jesus addresses the Father. He says, “Oh my Father . . . ” Note that Jesus says “my” and “Father.” These two words designate a “me and you” relationship.
Second, “If it be possible” is Jesus expressing a desire-a hope. What is that hope or desire? It is that “this cup pass from me.” The cup Jesus is speaking of is the imminent ordeal of betrayal, scourging, and crucifixion. Jesus did not want to go through this. He was expressing His desire. It was His will not to undergo the severe ordeal ahead of Him. If this was not so, He would not have expressed the desire to have the cup pass from Him.
Third, in Matt. 26:39, Jesus says, “Nevertheless., not my will, but thine, be done.” In Luke 22:42 he says, “Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” With this, Jesus is expressing His will and contrasting it to the will of the Father. Yet, He is stating that even though He does not want to undergo what lay ahead, “Nevertheless,” He would submit to the will of the Father-and not his own will.
This shows that the person of Jesus had a separate and different will than the Father. Since we have two separate simultaneous wills, we have two separate and simultaneous persons and Oneness Pentecostal theology is incorrect.

And Jn. 8:58 reads the same way lit. from the Greek;
"Before Abraham became, I am." Which should therefore be rendered into English likewise as;
"**I have been** in existence since before Abraham."
This is commonly called a "Present of Past Action" (or "PPA") idiom in Greek.
Jesus was not claiming a Divine title to be God there, but is simply saying that he was already in existence prior to Abraham's birth and still is up to the present when he spoke. To which the Jewish opposers tried to stone him probably for laying claim to such a long supernatural existence, which they refused to accept is all.
