I was a teenager in the 80's and I have to say that was the best decade for music as far as I am concerned. These guys were popular in the 80's.
I can’t lie, this is my favorite New Kids song. 🤦🏻♀️😂😂😂 this was Gen X’s boy band. Donnie (Mark Wahlberg’s brother, Blue Bloods, The Sixth Sense) will always be my favorite New Kid.
fun fact...they have cruises they do every year, and the little girl Donnie brought up, was at the last cruise they had all grown up and they did this song and brought her up again

I love NKOTB. They formed in 1984 when I was a sophomore in high school. They are my favorite boy band. Well, them, New Edition and Boyz II Men. Then in the late 90's when N'SNYC, BSB, 98 Degrees, etc came along I got to re-love boy bands again with my young daughters.
Donnie Wahlberg’s younger brother Mark was originally also in the group but quit before they made it big. Eventually he would become known as a Calvin Klein model and rapper Marky Mark….and now an A list Hollywood star!

I have two younger sisters, and was born in the 70s, so I heard New Kids On the Block *constantly* in '88 and '89! All of us boys used to clown NKOTB, as it was geared towards pre-teen and teenage girls. Looking back, we were probably just jealous that all the girls our age were "in love" with the early "boy band" (as they would later be referred to). There were lots of gay jokes about them that would be considered "hate speech" today, despite there wasn't any actual malice or hatred behind it. We just called everything and everyone "gay" back then.
This song was late-1980s. My sisters played this song/album CONSTANTLY.

We are ALL loving Cathy, I think he’s a 🤖😉. These guys are amazing and up until the ugly C that put everything on hold he would still pull someone on stage during this song. Seeing 30 and 40 year old women “fighting” to be The Cover Girl 😂. The have some “newer” songs Single featuring Ne-Yo is good, then the Battle of Boston on the AMA with New Edition was last year I believe
