I didn't know they cast their own gold! Great info and as always great video. Please do a video of knock-offs and its effects no just on the big brands but the small ones too. Or a video of fast fashion vs luxury. Its not just the name there is a big difference.

Why isn't Rolex considered one of the 'Holy Trinity of Luxury Watches', referring to Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and Vacheron Constantin. - Not my words, look it up online.

Rolex is only the ‘king’ of luxury watches to people who don’t actually know anything about nice watches.
The holy trinity (“best”) watch brands are Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Vacheron Constantin.

Yes the brands you just mentioned are luxury watches, but in the other side you have A Lange and Sohne. They are not luxurious their watches are pieces of art.

I bought the Daytona in gold and steel with diamonds from Rolex and there watches are pretty impressive for there craftsmanship. I do plan on buying the daydate in gold with diamonds but it is $$$ maybe the used ones are worth it? I'm a little skeptic about it, so the other option is Tudor.

AP still a one trick pony. VC building on its overseas collection but still soft brand. Patek is not as liquid, as the average person won't be able to afford a basic nautilus at 50k.

Rolex watches are basic luxury watches, yes they’re a first good buy to enter the world of luxury watches but there are other far superior brands.
Do a video on the holy trinity of watches. Rolex is a gateway to high end watch brands for serious watch enthusiasts & hobbyists. I’m not buying any Rolex. There’re much better brands out there.
I haven't decided which Rolex I would like for daily wear. Probably, stainless and yellow gold. I like to keep daily basics simple. I love Omega watches. They're more delicate and feminine. I want a rose gold with diamond bezel for my dressy watch. I'm a Texan🤠😎, everyday is dressy in our own unique way!!!
Rolex makes very strong watches with good quality parts and metals. Rolex is also a status symbol watch. Rolex doesn't have to make a smart watch aka mini redondant cell phone watch like the apple watch to satisfy millennials. When the millennials get into their 30s they will gravitate naturally to Rolex and other Swiss watches. To not get fakes when you are buying a watch buy the dealer not the watch. It is strange that Hans Wildorf left Rolex for his foundation and not his children.

The brand itself is an inspiration. I just turn 30 and have got myself three pieces of Rolex sports model over the past two years. These are definitely something I can pass down to my posterity.

well they are the king of marketing. But, guess what? Still not part of the holy trinity and will never be. there's many reasons why PP, AP, and VC are on top of the crown.
Rolex is the king of luxury watches, but it will be an ignorant mistake to equate Rolex to haute horology dominated by PP, VC, AP.....then A Lange and JLC all sit above Rolex in heritage and craftmanship. Rolex is not hand built as erroneously stated by A lux, rather it's machine guided. I am a big Rolex fan but let's not exaggerate their craftmanship and heritage, that why Rolex have a case back to hide their robust utilitarian movement. Rolex in a working man's watch and was priced on a week's wages in the early 1900s, till date it is relatively well priced when compared to haute horology.

The design of the Rolex watches withstand the test of time. The feel of the watch on your wrist you understand what is quality. Limited quantity crafted for different designs will make watch lovers sort for it to their collections. It’s just my personal opinion.

Although I prefer Breitling watches, Rolex is unquestionably the King of Watches worldwide. The trinity of luxury watches may actually be a bit better but Rolex is immediately recognizable to all. Does anyone out there like Rolex's Cellini? I do.

Most importantly hulk is almost always out of stock. On the used market hulk costs way more than it's sticker price.
@@nishanthb6379 I know compare black sub date with Hulk date difference is 25k ... In the long run Hulk will be a better investment as the model will discontinue... But black no date will always be there so not a gr8 investment.. also I personally like the date feature ... And green has that reflective dial

To be fair it's generally easy to tell a Rolex from a fake (if you don't know how yet you can't afford the real deal) and those with a fake (I have a had a fake Submariner.) know what they have and have it for amusement.

Most people like to start with a stainless steel sports model. But good luck with that, Rolex doesn't want to sell you one. Not one of their boutiques will have one in stock over the last two years. Get on a several-year waiting list.
