Thanks Mr B, for tilting camera upward to show us the ceiling/roof of this forgotten temple. You take care yourself as well.

I certainly will. I am having to travel so much further now to find Temples, but that just gives me more countryside.

I'm always looking forward to your video publishing, there is something to learn from you. And I love the lion with the human face - something new.

You are very kind, but I do mind I am no expert. I am just an enthusiast. I suppose the Temples teach me and I teach you and that is rather sweet. ❤️

Mr. B, I immensely appreciate your effort. Modern people have forgotten to marvel at any grand architecture. That's a pity. There is also the problem of their short attention span. Appreciation of ancient art and ruins of earlier civilizations, used to fill us with genuine awe and wonder. How could they achieve those things with limited means. No power tools, no electricity, no trains or, trucks for logistics, no airlifting, the scientific prowess was not so great... and yet they managed to do things, that we can't even with all the modern equipments at our disposal! Wonder of wonders. One more thing is that the standard of art has gone down drastically, as we became more scientifically advanced. The earlier people had more patience and better taste.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. Your question is a very good one, and the answer is rather simple.
They could achieve this amazing level of art and building and Empire, spreading because they had so much manpower.
When you have a lot of manpower all you have to worry about is the materials, which were also free .
The process was one of a production line. Somebody would quarry the stone, another group would carry it, basic artists would then form the stone into a general shape, and finally, Master craftsman would do the last touch to make it look so good. .
If you have free labour and free materials, you can do incredible things
I hope life is kind to you take the best of care ❤️

Mr. B. Thanks for showing inside of the temple. As you said that the inside is a Brahmanist hindu YONI. Missing his the hindu LINGAM. The reclining Buddha on the front portal must have been put there much later when Cambodia changed from Brahmanism to Buddhism. The lion is the old statue going with the old Brahmanism.

So nice to see it is being restored and repaired. Magnificent Lion and a pity you can’t find out why it has a human face as that would be interesting to know. ❤🥰😘
