How do you find the fit on the Hifiman XS? I have a small head and am a bit concerned about that. Trying to decide between XS, Grado Hemp, and saving a bit of money with the 560s.

    Hi, nice review.
What is the difference regarding sound between the Meze 99 Classics and the Meze 99 Neo?
    Which is better?

Those are two very different headphones, that said many find the HD660s to be the better sounding headphones and as long as the open-back design works for you it will be a pretty significant upgrade! Yes, with most headphones the sound quality is greatly improved when using a cable, and since the HD660s is not a wireless headphone (cabled is the only option if you upgrade to it.)

Nice video and bravo for including the great Sennheiser hd 560s 👍 for beginners audiophiles like me ! This headphone and the hd 599 have a superbe sound. For games doubt between Audeze Penrose and Beoplay portal of Bang& Olufsen (xbox player) 🤔

Thank you for this roundup focusing on the more affordable end of the audiophile headphone market!
I would love to see a video specifically featuring headphones that are balanced out of the box, with a fixed cable. Or preferably with detachable cables, so they can be used with either 4.4mm or 4 pin XLR. I prefer closed back headphones to minimise outside noise, but there seems to be very few affordable wired, closed, balanced headphones to choose from. I have tried the Audio Technica MSR7B, which sound good, but they come with very short cables and A.T. don't produce any longer balanced cables that fit them, so they're not suitable. Anyone got any recommendations? Thanks in advance 🙂

Is the Audeze Maxwell better than any of these headphones? Just saw the review, but it didn't have any comparison to other headset in the same price clas.

(I am asking for your opinion)

The Maxwell being better is more of a matter of personal preference, but we find it to be a big improvement over the Mobius. It you are looking for a closed back gaming headset the Maxwell is one of the best options available today especially at it's price!

I don't use headphones a lot, but am looking for some that will work well with my Aurender A20's headphone stage. I listen mainly to 70's through late 90's rock/pop (U2, Paul Simon (& Garfunkel)

In this price range, we would recommend the HIFiMan Edition XS. Given how nice the Aurender A20 is, we would also recommend checking out some of our higher-end headphones. Based on your listening preferences, the Audeze LCD-X and the HiFiMan Arya Stealth Magnets are both solid choices! I like the Sennheiser HD 560S sound detailed analytical expansive.
The driver itself is incredibly efficient allowing it to be compatible with any device without needing external power.
has nice bass extension as well providing some nice tight and responsive low end for open back headphone of this price.
The Sennheiser HD 560S is some of the best Sennheiser sound at one of sennheiser's best price points.

There is no point in reviewing if you're not going to talk about the flaws of each system.
