Thank you for reviewing. Seems to be good vacuum..terrible naming convention. 'clean & empty' used in various models ' name. I got confused with this model and BU3521. Wish they have a more systematic name to let people know what is entry/medium/advance vacuum system.
Mine is blue sold at Walmart. Is it a lower tier like the Detect Pro sold at Wal-Mart. Just saw your other video mentioning a difference between those two.
I am here asking the same thing. I bought the prior version. And while I really like it it has a bunch of issues with the filter that's always dirty after one use. the auto door always being stuck open and the loss of suction that is super common. I wish there was some type of exchange program as I feel they clearly made this as a fix of all those issues.
Detect Pro is good for light duty and above floor cleaning, particularly hard floors. Power Detect is better for mostly carpet floors, due to the floor head design and more powerful motor. It’s heavier though.
Can anyone let me know which vacuum they think is better between this and the cordless detect pro. Both are on sale, and I’m trying to decide. I only have hard floor, and rugs. No carpet. Also curious if it charges the whole time It’s on the base or it shuts off when done charging bc I know prolonged charging usually damages batteries. Any info would be great. I was leaning towards detect pro but then seen this one was new. Help haha!
I’m returning the detect pro. No powerful enough. I have the purple one. I am going to try this one as it’s more powerful but still has the base which I love
Was the previous version [Detect aProIW3511, I think] , 21.6 volt also? Nice to see that Shark doesn’t have that fin thingy that debris, esp dog hairs would get stuck. I wish that Shark would allow us free trade. I must have the 1st or 2nd generation model.
@@JustADadwould you recommend the detect pro for non carpeted homes? Trying to decide between the 2 during the sale! Also, does it charge the whole time on the base or shut off once fully charged, I know it can’t be good to constantly charge. Is there any other vacuum you would recommend for no carpets?
A Dyson has no loss of suction where as a shark will. I know people who bought a shark because of how cheap they are and notice a loss of suction within a few months 😂. Face it you and others who moan about a Dyson just can’t justify the price and can’t afford them. Now go cry in the corner.

This one is far superior

@@JustADad why’s the bin white
@@JustADad uk model sucks its missing the cyclone
Would you recommend this over the Stratos though??
Is that the only way to charge it or can it just be plugged in without the other canister?

Fully agree. Super unhappy with version 1 that has so many issues this one looks a lot better.
yeah this latest generation seems to have improved all that was wrong with the older one.

The uk version of the self empty version powerdetect, is trash! It doesn’t have a cyclone.
To me it looks like the vacuum dyson should have made
Meanwhile Dyson vacuum is twice the price of this with lack of features

Poor accessories again and the fact you can’t take the head roller out definitely put me off thanks I won’t be buying
Kinda gimmicky tbh more things to break
