Thank you for the video! I recently purchased a 2019 Super Tenere XT1200ZE here in Japan and wanted to use that auxiliary bar to mount my iPhone. Glad I happened across your set up, I think the same Quad Lock parts is what I need. Arigato gozaimashita!
Man I’m glad my spontaneous quadlock auxiliary post purchase will work out well! Same setup as you purchased but I added a wireless charger to it as well. Hopefully everything works as intended!

What's the camera angle like in the portrait orientation (does it point down too much)? I'm considering using this for video calls.
there is a desk mount with wireless charging head, this would be ideal. it is adjustable.

Does the phone fits without the vibration acessorie?
Yes. But high frequency vibrations from the motorcycle kill smartphones really fast.

it doesn't fit, you can't rotate phone as it collides with speedo@@VeryImportantPepe

Hi there,
Since this was filmed, I have upgraded from an iPhone XR which never had an issue to an iPhone 13 Mini, so with the upgrade, I got a vibration dampener, and the wireless charging head.
I've not had a single issue with the Quadlock gear, or the phone. done around 14,000km of tar seal and gravel.

Mate, how theft proof would you consider this phone holder. By theft I mean: people on scooters snatching your phone and racing off.
not at all. nothing stopping them grabbing your phone at any stage. theres nothing on the market that will completely lock your phone tot he bike, nothing i know of anyway.
