Ok, a bit of an odd story. At the start of 1984 I moved with my parents to Whyalla, as we came into Whyalla from Port Augusta I distinctly remember seeing an ex war ship/battleship on the left side of the road, my stepfather told me it was the HMAS Whyalla. I saw this documentary a while ago on a different youtube channel and it said the ship wasn't moved there until 1987. I was astounded. We left Whyalla as a family at the end of 1985 so there is no way I could have seen it at a different time and was just mis-remembering dates. I asked my parents about this and they both agree that there was a land locked ship on the left hand side of the road as we drove into Whyalla. Can anyone explain this anomaly? Also if anyone reading this went to Memorial Oval Primary School in '84-'85 let me know. We may have crossed paths.
Love the music.
Quite an accomplishment...👍
