- This 1843 text, "A Lesson for Freemasons," uses Masonic tools as metaphors for moral conduct. The rule, line, and plumb line represent adherence to righteous behavior and avoiding deception. The square and compasses symbolize living within proper bounds and contributing to others' needs. The level emphasizes equality among humankind, regardless of social standing. Finally, the mallet, chisel, trowel, and hammer highlight the importance of education, unity, and discipline in building a virtuous life.
Thanks for having me. And to all the Wonderful Mason's that are present 🎁

Oswald Wirth (5 August 1860 - 9 March 1943) was an occultist who was born in Switzerland and lived in France. A versatile personality, he dealt with occultism, astrology, hermeticism, the study of magnetism, tarot and others. He also had a long career as a Freemason, spanning almost six decades. The Wirths died two days apart from each other. They were buried in the same grave, being able to say with admiration that they both went to heaven together! If I may, a recommendation: Oswald Wirth, the set of three volumes "Freemasonry as understood by its followers. Its philosophy, object, method and means". 1. The Apprentice's Book; 2. The Book of the Companion; 3. The Master's book
An intriguing suggestion - I'll look into it.
I'm working on a long video from the works of AE Waite at the moment, but hopefully I can look at Wirth after that. Thanks again!
@salajangheorghe1284 He may have been a member of a Grand Lodge that was not in amity with the UGLE. If that is the case, he was not a Freemason. He would have been a "clandestine mason". That is to say, a fake Mason.
So when the Centimeter was first developed it wasn't to the Planck unit of measurement being dimensionally sounder was it?
I just wanted to share my experience with you about my recent visits to the lodge. The first time I went, I had the chance to speak with a few masons who all seemed to ask me the same question. Then on my second visit, I was invited for dinner and was asked why I wanted to become a mason. I found it interesting that they were genuinely interested in my reasons.
But, two months later, I received a call asking me to come back to the lodge to pick up some documents. I'm a bit confused as to why they haven't allowed me to petition yet but are asking me to pick up documents. Do you have any idea what documents they could be referring to? I'm really curious and would appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks!
It sounds like they want you to fill in the petition forms so they can vote on your application in a meeting. Usually these are then sent to the Grand Lodge for registration. Also, some jurisdictions (like mine), now require a criminal history check for all candidates. In either case I think it's good news!
Freemasons are going to be taught a lesson alright.
Psalm 122:5
Matthew Chapter 7, verse 1-3.
@TheRealist2022 Psalm 122:5 says, "For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David".
You were saying?@TheRealist2022
Jeremiah 23:5
Hosea 3:5
Ezekial 37:24-27
Ezekial 14:3
Too much self-will and moralism. Redemption is a gift and cooperation. Charity is a gift from God impossible by human effort alone. Danger of this approach could be self-righteousness.
Humans can be charitable in many different factor... It is not from god alone.
The gift that is from god is love that is the basis of charity.
@ charity traditionally is like agape in Greek. It is from God alone. Without the Master you can do nothing (cf. John 15)
@ we all are like Peter thinking we can die for Jesus until the moment arrives and we fall.
@kyleg6560 Scripture has always correct , but we must take into contacts who it was written for.....
But over all we have Our own reign of free will and choose to be charitable to whom we choose.
Mmm yes, temperance... Voluptuousness mmm.
Plumbing.
