  • A lot of people are very familiar with anterior pelvic tilts and lower crossed syndrome.
    In this video, I discuss the opposite posture pattern called a posterior pelvic tilt. Diane Lee also calls this a butt gripper strategy. This posterior pelvic tilt pattern is usually associated with a flat low back. This flat low back does not absorb shock as well and can lead to accelerated disc bulges and injuries.
    If you have low back pain and the posterior pelvic tilt, these exercises and stretches for your low back might be helpful.
    In this video, I will also go over some stretches and exercises for the posterior pelvic tilt.

    I’m a guy in my 20s and it really felt like I was laughed out of my GP’s office as if I was after pain meds or something (he didn’t even look at my back after I described my pain). Had to go to a new doctor who actually took a look and diagnosed it. That was 5 years ago and I’m still struggling with it. Came to TH-cam for a refresher on the physical therapy and very glad you were here to help, thanks so much
    Also, my PT really emphasized fixing the way I stand (with weight shifted straight onto one leg, and the other kicked out)... if her emphasis on everyday posture/movements was justified, maybe a video like that would be cool! (sorry if it already exists)

    I have this posterior pelvic tilt with the super strong front abdominal muscles. It feels like my hip flexors and the muscles that attach Tommy pubic bone are gonna tear off the bone. I can’t figure out what hurts worse-the herniated L5-S1 or the stomach muscles. The burning is insane.

    Hey doc, just wanted to say thank you for your videos, your video on improper bending literally changed my life. What would you recommend to someone who's 70 suffering from this, my dad has this bad mixed with a forward leaning old man walk. He went to the doctor and he said , you're just an old man. Total bullshit. My question what would you recommend for someone his age because he'd laugh at me if I tried to have him do most of the exercises as he's not very mobile.

    Hlo sir i want you to please suggest some exercised for my problem
    I.am having a single sided hip dip . Around my right hip i am having internal depression or hip dip and not having it on my left side .
    What could be the psbl resason for it and also plz suggest how to correct?

    Doc is it possible to have lateral pelvic tilt and posterior pelvic tilt on the right side hip at the same time?
