Yucatan Knot. The fishing knot performs well while connecting a doubled main line to a heavy leader. It was originally developed in the sport fishing waters off Isla Mujeres and Cancun. The slim beauty and is arguably the strongest knot for mono leader to braided line connections.

YUCATAN KNOT OR REVERSE ALBRIGHT KNOT
This simple and yet extremely strong knot comes in handy when situations require you to be fast!
Situations like those short window period of frenzy feeding and you burst your lines,and you knew you had to be fast!
Or you have problems tying FG knot on a rocking boat....
This knot is excellent for vertical jigging, Hand line Fishing or even Casting (refer below)
As such, it has a wider diameter compared to FG knot.
The wide diameter made it unsuitable for distance casting when your Yucatan knot was within your rod ring guides system!
It would hit your rod's ring guides at high speed when you cast!
ALTERNATIVELY FOR CASTING, you can choose to shorten your leader to a length where your Yucatan knot is not within your rod system and yet still able to cast.
By doing so, you don't have to worry about the impact of your Yucatan knot hitting your ring guides every time you cast!

Kaya pala parang familiar sir, pero I have lost a lot of fish and lures using Albright knot sir kasi napuputol yung leader line sa mismong knot kasi humihigpit yung braid line, yet I will try this yucatan knot or the reverse Albright knot, by the way thanks sa tuotrial mo sir very informative 😊

Definitely is not the Alberto Knot. The Alberto Knot wrap the braid around the nylon 7 times back and forward before pass the braid into the nylon loop to close the knot.

Yes you can also use this for 80lbs line.. but I suggest to use the opposite procedure which the braid twister knot. (more easier for heavier lines) please share this link will be very helpful for my channel, thanks God bless.
